Professional Single (C-drama)

This was my second Cdrama, and I'm following an order.

I also watched this drama in 2022, so I may not get all the facts right, but I'll try 😁

This drama stars Deng Chao Yuan (Aaron Deng) and Song Yiren (Ireine Song) as Qin Shen (ML) and Yuan Qian (FL) respectively.

This is again a very cute drama TBH. And the story is set in a fine arts school, so it makes it more aesthetic for me IG 🙃.

Let's get into the story.

Two of them, Qin Shen and Yuan Qian have been single since birth (Like most drama watchers) and want to stay like that. They both are studying sculpting in the school.

Let me now tell you about what I like in the story. The aesthetic ✨️ 😍 As an art girly, I loved the premise of the drama a lot. Couple chemistry is very important in a romance drama, but I felt that it was a bit lacking there. I blame it on the cold handsome male lead trope. It was overdone to an extent.

Then we have Song Shiyi 😒 The second male lead. He obviously likes Yuan Qian. Honestly there were a very few things that were special about this drama. I can't say many good things about it.

After they get together, Qin Shen starts acting really possessive, like I understand why he did that (Song Shiyi 😑). I mean he had a reason for doing that, but that does not justify his actions. Even Yuan Qian was giving mixed signals about Song Shiyi, which led to Qin Shen acting like that.

There's also this second female lead, whose name I forgot, but she is less annoying than Song Shiyi. I dislike Song Shiyi so much that I remember his name 😅

In most cases, the second male lead gets all the love and support from the (single) audience but Song Shiyi is another level.

This is becoming about Song Shiyi sorry 😑

There is also a little "misunderstanding" in the middle episodes which is not even supposed to be a "misunderstanding" at all.

It is a cute drama and quite aesthetic. That's all I have to say about this because I watched literally anything back then.

Scores

Plot- 7.5/10. (basic)

Acting- 6.5/10 (could've been wayy better)

Vibes- 8/10

Production- 7.5/10 (nothing special, nothing bad)

Overall score- 8.2/10
