Title: "The Accidental Hero"

Characters:

Max – A regular guy who has no idea he's about to become a hero.

Zara – A tech genius and Max’s best friend, always trying to keep him out of trouble.

The Villain (Dr. Havoc) – A mad scientist with plans to take over the city.

Panel 1: Setting: Max’s apartment. Max is sitting on the couch, playing a video game. Zara bursts through the door, holding a glowing gadget.

Zara:

Max, we need to talk. I found something big!

Max:

(eyes still glued to the screen)

Uh-huh. Sounds important. But did you see that combo I just pulled off?

Panel 2: Zara throws a small device onto the coffee table. It glows and hums with energy.

Zara:

This! I’ve been tracking Dr. Havoc's movements. He’s planning to destroy the city... with this.

Max:

(squinting at the device)

Huh. Cool. So, uh... what’s the plan?

Panel 3: Zara looks exasperated. Max leans back, still distracted by the game.

Zara:

The plan is to stop him! You’re going to help me stop him.

Max:

(confused)

Me? How? I’m just trying to beat this level!

Panel 4: Suddenly, there's a loud explosion outside the window. The ground shakes. Zara grabs Max by the shirt collar.

Zara:

No time! Dr. Havoc’s here! We need to go—now!

Max:

(still holding the controller, not moving)

Hold on, I just need one more life.

Panel 5: They both jump into a car. Max is still holding the controller while Zara drives like a maniac, speeding through the streets.

Max:

What’s my role here again?

Zara:

You’re the distraction! I’ll handle the tech stuff!

Max:

(stares at his controller)

Distraction, right... I can do that.

Panel 6: They arrive at Dr. Havoc's lair. Max hesitates, looking at Zara.

Max:

You know, I could just... play the game here. We can call it a day.

Zara:

(grabs him by the wrist)

Not a chance! Get ready, hero.

Panel 7: They confront Dr. Havoc, who’s in the middle of monologuing about world domination. Max accidentally hits a button on the gadget Zara gave him, causing the lair’s defenses to go haywire.

Dr. Havoc:

(angrily)

No! What have you done?!

Max:

(innocently)

Uhh, I think I hit the “destroy everything” button by accident?

Panel 8: The villain is scrambling to fix his system, while Max stands there, bewildered.

Zara:

(to Max, smirking)

You’re not as useless as you think.

Max:

(looking around at the chaos)

I guess that makes me... an accidental hero?

Panel 9: Max and Zara walk off as the lair crumbles behind them. Max shrugs with a grin.

Max:

So... what’s next? I’m feeling lucky—ready for the sequel?

Zara:

(sighs, shaking her head)

You are definitely not a hero, Max.

Max:

I dunno, I’m kinda getting the hang of this whole saving the day thing.
