Chapter 20: The Explosion

"He's mine," Shin growled, his voice echoing in the room. "Only mine. Don't you ever touch him again." The words hung in the air, thick with possessiveness, a declaration of ownership that made Xander’s breath catch in his throat. Everything had happened so fast. One moment, the other guy was there, his face close to Xander’s, and the next, Shin was between them, a wall of fury.

Xander was confused, disoriented. He didn't understand the sudden shift in the atmosphere, the raw anger radiating from Shin. He tried to intervene, to calm the situation. "Stop it, Shin," what the hell are you doing??he pleaded, his voice trembling slightly.

But Shin was beyond reason. He saw Xander’s attempt to stop him as an act of defense, a shield for the other guy. The jealousy that had been simmering inside him for so long finally boiled over. He saw red.

"Oh, so, you like him?" Shin sneered, his gaze fixed on Xander, his eyes narrowed with jealousy. "Even after spending the night with me, you still want someone else? What is so special about him? Tell me, Xander! What is it that makes him so irresistible?"

Xander recoiled, his heart pounding in his chest. He’d been trying to be friendly, to move on, to forget… but Shin’s words, his accusations, cut him to the core. He doesn’t understand…it’s not like that…

“Shin, please, stop,” he begged, his voice cracking. “You’re misunderstanding…”

But Shin wasn't listening. "You wanted to kiss him, didn't you?" he accused, his voice rising. "You wanted him! Even after everything, you still want him!"huh...

Xander’s eyes widened, his face paling. “No, Shin, that’s not…”

“Don’t lie to me!” Shin shouted, his voice echoing through the room. “Don’t you dare lie to me!” He grabbed Xander’s arm, his grip tight, his fingers digging into his skin. “You’re mine, Xander! You’re mine! Do you understand? Mine!"

The other guy, stunned by Shin’s outburst, finally spoke up. “Hey! What are you doing?” he said, his voice laced with confusion and a hint of fear.

Shin’s attention snapped to him, his eyes blazing with fury. "Shut your mouth," he snarled. "This has nothing to do with you." He shoved the guy back, his anger momentarily diverted. He touched him…he dared to touch him… The thought fueled his rage.

He turned back to Xander, his grip tightening on his arm. “You’re coming with me,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. He pulled Xander towards the door, ignoring his protests.

“Shin, please, stop!” leave me alone...Xander pleaded, his voice filled with panic. He tried to pull away, but Shin’s grip was too strong. He was trapped, caught in the crossfire of Shin’s jealousy and possessiveness. He didn’t understand what was happening.
