The door bell rang .

Mom " can you please open the door Kian , I am busy in the kitchen . "

I said " ok " . Came downstairs and opened the door and little li came in Alwyn's younger brother .

" What brings you here li "

He replied entering our kitchen " mom asked me for some fried shrimp to send it to you " .

He jumped in the dining chair . And said " have you not eaten dinner yet aunt" .

My mom replied " is almost done will you like to eat with us ".

Little li " I am always ok for food " he said smiling .

" what a glutton " I said teasingly .

Little li replied back to me in an offending tone " it's good I come to eat in your house manytimes's aunt has to eat alone cause you hang out a lot ".

Mom brings out the food and laid out at the table " now no arguing it's time for dinner your dad called and told me he will not be having dinner with us due to urgent work ".

I took my seat and started eating .

little li " Do you fight with my brother gege ( term use for older brother)".

Mom looked at me surprised . I was just going to eat the friend shrimp " no I didn't fight with him " .

Mom replied " what could have made you both fight you never fight when you are young " .

"I didn't " I paused while saying that .

Little li " my gege seems to be upset so I asked ".

" did he tell you I was the one " I said annoyed . What is the reason he had to be annoyed I am the one who should be upset.

Little li " nope I guess it ".

" ok no argument while eating " mom interrupted ." have some fried pork li you have to be good in health to play football ".

" thanks aunt ". He smiled at mom .

" you are treating your son a little too differently". I said to my mom .

"I did rather have little li as my son than you "mom said and laughed.

" yeah ² I know " . I am a little upset about that .

" my mom and aunt are the best " said li

" aww.. Such a sweet talker " . Mom pinched little li cheek ." aiyaa .. Our little li has become chubby in his cheek . "

" aunt my cheek will become red " he rubbed his cheek .

" can you pass me the fried pork mom " I said pouting looking at them being sweet .

Mom" my son is jealous little li you did a good job " .little li passed me the plate .

" so you were just testing my patience" I said annoyed .

" you know what gege it's rare for you to be jealous aunt love you when you are jealous . You never quit exprese your feelings ." said little li .

" haiya ... Why don't I adopt you instead " I sighed.

" ok 2 eat up your dinner it's getting late ".

After we are done eating me and li and I played some games and he was ready to go home .

" I will get going aunt ". He said to mom .

" goodnight sweetheart ".mom replied

" goodnight gege " .

Sound of closing the door .

I whispered myself " goodnight " .
