SHOT clock: Feel Safe

Lala went up to the boy and said, "Hi I'm Lala, nice to meet you"." Nice to meet you too, I'm Kaevon". He said with his nonchalant deep voice. They started talking and getting to know each other more and then they were in the process of asking each other for their number. “Damn she is good”, Maxine said in surprise and in awe.

A few months later they started talking and they later started dating. Later in class, Sheila asked if Maxine and lala wanted to hang out in her house. “Lala Maxine,  do you guys wanna hang out in my house?”Sheila asked . They both replied sure and after school they all went to Sheila’s house and they stayed in her room and started talking about things.

“Sheila”, Sheila’s uncle called out to her. “Guys I’ll be right back”,Sheila  said. The room went silent as Sheila left the door.

“Lala my uncle said he wants to talk to you”, Sheila said. “Why does your uncle wanna talk to me?”Lala said while raising her eyebrows at Sheila. “I don’t know, just go talk to him and ask him yourself”, Sheila said.

Lala left Sheila's room to go talk to Sheila’s uncle.

“Lala hi”, Sheila’s uncle said. “Ummm hi sheila said you wanted to tell me something”, Lala said. “Yh but I can't say it out loud, come closer”, Sheila’s uncle said. Lala came closer and he pulled her closer and she fell on his lap and he started molesting her and touching her in different ways possible then he grabbed a white cloth and wrapped it all  over her mouth so he wouldn’t be able to make a sound that would attract people’s attention. He kept molesting her and she tried to fight back but couldn’t do anything about it because he held her with a tight grip.

 After he was done pleasing himself, he just discarded her like a useless trash that can be recycled and used again. Lala came out of the room in pain and she looked traumatized as she walked out of Sheila’s house. She left the door silently so that no one heard her footsteps. The next day in school she started ignoring her friends. They tried talking to her but she would act like she didn’t  wanna talk to anyone.

The one thing that was funny between their friendship was the fact that Sheila lived a luxurious life and didn’t even care about anything that doesn’t have to do with her family, while Lala had a nice family but there were some difficulties. Lala had an Older brother  and a younger sister but her parents always ignored her and always did what any of her siblings wanted.

“If i were given a second chance in life i would hope for my parents to look at me and pay all their attention to me and not to my siblings but guess what it will never happen because it isn’t real, so”, Lala said.

On the other hand Maxine was having a family problem, her parents were always arguing anytime they met or went near each other, Maxine’s dad was like a clean freak and always didn’t like dirt on any surface or in the house, but at the same time he was a businessman who owned many buildings and landscapes and made many investment in different companies.

 Maxine came  home and saw her parents arguing. “Why are you guys always arguing like just stop? I'm so sick and tired of seeing you guys arguing, you always embarrass me in front of my friends by fighting”, Maxine said and the pain in her eyes was so painful to see. “Honey go upstairs this isn’t the time for you to talk, go up to your room, your father and I are busy right now”, Maxine’s mom said. Maxine knew her mom  and dad would divorce one day but she just wanted to breathe for once.

Lala has been traumatized since and cried day and night, she couldn’t sleep  at all without having the feeling of someone forcibly trying to take advantage of her. Lala went to take a shower  to ease herself of the thought. She went into the bathroom and put on the shower….

After taking a bath, Lala felt calm and decided to go to the park. Lala went to the park  and met a guy named Lucas, he was the same age as Lala but he was in a different school. Lucas tried talking to her but she gave him the silent treatment. “Look, I'm trying to talk to you because you look like you have  a lot going on in your head right  now,”Lucas said.

“If you know that i have a lot going on in my head then why are you disturbing me right now, just get out and leave me alone”. “Chill girl, no need to get all worked up just because a fine shyt like me is trying to get to know you,”Lucas said. “So you think you're fine”lala said while smiling. “Sorry but i have no time to talk to guys right now i have a boyfriend”, Lala said with a straight face trying to make it look serious.

In the meanwhile Maxione was going through a lot too, There was an exam coming up too and Lala still hasn’t spoken to any of her friends. One day Lala was walking in the hallway and Sheila saw her and said hi to her while raising her hand and waving at her, but Lala just gave her the side eye and walked away and then the day of the exam came and then……

The room was filled with silence and everyone's eyes were gazed at the exam papers. The tension that filled the room intimidated people in the classroom. The students in that room gazed at each other feeling nervous and scared. The teachers looked up at them and said you have a whole hour to finish fifty questions and  no use of calculators.

When the teacher said that they all groaned in pain and started grumbling then a girl named ashley stood up and said “Miss Brookelyn, I thought the management said that we should have calculators beside us when doing the exam, so tell me why you aren’t allowing us to use calculators”. “ I don’t want you guys to use calculators during exams but even if the office said that who cares because they aren’t the one teaching you, it is me that is teaching you guys and we are having math now, you guys should use your head to solve math problems, use your head before you lose it”, Miss brookelyn said while smiling.

When she said that the whole class gasped and went silent, they all looked at her feeling shocked. “What?, get your pencils ready before we start because i don’t want to waste anymore time by talking to you guys”

Everyone stood up from their chairs to go get a pencil quickly before Miss brookelyn goes Insane (sacarsm). An announcement was made” The exam would begin very soon, All students should be in their class  now. Immediately the chattering and the noise of people’s footsteps as they quickly run to their class......
