Chapter 5 : Saving The Pilot

   It was already night time, and Veselly’s father hasn’t come home yet. Kazuki and Khyeira wanted to search for Veselly’s father, but they don’t know his face. They asked Veselly where did her father go, and she answered “The Dead Lands” and she said that her father didn’t tell her about the place. They both were shocked, “Rathomir, we need to go there, quick!” Said Khyeira.

“Ok!” He opened the bottle that contained Hiyami, “Exsisto Fera!” Casted Kazuki.

“Where are you both going?” Said Veselly while being worried.

“No time to explain. But, we’re going to save your father. You just stay here, lock the doors.” Said Khyeira while mounting the horse.

“But-“ Said Veselly.

Kazuki gave a potion that can increase the speed, Khyeira brought a lantern, then they rode off with full speed.

They arrived at Tihko, there was no one. But, in the distance they could see a big fire. When they got there, they saw the crazy people, and two people unconscious, tied with rope hanging on a high lantern posts, with fire under it.”Veselly’s father and… Sky?!?!” Said Kazuki to himself.

“Here’s the plan, I’m going try to keep as many crazy people focus on attacking me, and you go save them.” Said Khyeira.

Khyeira got on a house and readied her bow. And Kazuki readies his two axes. She shooted and hitted one of the crazy people who was going to pour more oil. They noticed and looked behind them, they screamed. Some of them noticed Kazuki, but all of them had no guns. He blocked one, and kicked the other one who was charging at him, and then he used the other axe to attack the heart.

Another one striked fast and Kazuki hasn’t got one of his axes back, so he takes a hit to the body.  Then, he pulled out the axe and kicked the leg and sliced his head off.

The one who was kicked back by Kazuki got up and charged at him, He charges at him as well. Kazuki was faster and cuts the head in the two, he had no time to pull out the axe because he saw that was Khyeira kind of struggling. He climbed onto a house near the lantern posts, there was one gunner, and he noticed Kazuki, he charged at the gunner, but he got shot in the leg. So, he throwed the only axe he had, it dropped the gunner. Then he grabs his sword and slices through the heart. After that, he started to cut the ropes.

Meanwhile, Khyeira was shooting and always readied her little dagger in her hand, and she was obviously faster than Rathomir’s body. She stabbed one of them in the head who was about to attack her, “Hold that for me, will you?” Kazuki sees that she was enjoying it. Khyeira sees Kazuki that had started to cut the ropes, “Nice.” Said Khyeira in her heart to Kazuki.

She saw a water tank, so she shoots it. It putted out the fire. Kazuki cutted both of the ropes, Khyeira pulled out the little dagger out from the body and jumped onto Hiyami and goes to Kazuki. “Quick!” Said Khyeira.

He pulled out his axe, while Khyeira carries Veselly’s father and Skyreed onto the horse, they both hopped on Hiyami. When they looked back, they saw a horde of crazy people running at them. They rode off, she handed her bow to Kazuki, he shooted and hitted the gunners first, He hitted most of them in their arms. Then he shooted the one who were still chasing, like before. They escaped successfully.

They arrived at Shcheye, Khyeira carried Veselly’s father and Kazuki carried Skyree. They brought them to the doctor, the doctor checked on their bodies, there were something drawn on their bodies, it was a Japanese kanji, Kazuki could read it. “Akuma” was the word written on their bodies. “What does it read?” Asked Khyeira.

“Demon.” Answered Kazuki.

Khyeira looked she wanted to ask something, but she didn’t ask. The doctor healed their wounds, and the wound on Rathomir’s leg. “They need some resting, go find a place where they can rest.” Said the doctor.

Khyeira and Kazuki brought them onto the horse, and goes to the aiport. When they arrived, they putted them on a bed, “Veselly! Hey Veselly!” Shouted Khyeira.

Veselly ran to them, and hugged her father, even though he was still unconscious. After that, they went to sleep.

The next day, they were still unconscious, Veselly said he wanted to buy fruits from the supermarket, Khyeira telled Kazuki to go with her to the supermarket, He only bringed 100RL that Khyeira gave. They just decided to walk because the city was close to the airport. Kazuki saw some tall buildings, and many houses.  They went in the supermarket, and went to the fruits and vegetables isle, He lets Veselly pick the fruits. She picked up 6

oranges and 10 apples. Kazuki went to pay it (to the cashier), the change was only just 2RL. They went back and Veselly’s father was conscious, Veselly immediately ran to him and hugged him while crying because of happiness. Her father patted her head, “Now, now, don’t cry my little angel.” Said Veselly’s father calmly.

“Thank you.” Said Veselly’s father to Kazuki and Khyeira.

They nodded their heads. Skyreed waked up, “Eh? Where am I?” He looked around and saw Kazuki and

Khyeira.

“Rathomir!” Shouted Skyreed.

They all looked behind them, “Hey, Sky! You’re finally awake!” Shouted Kazuki.

“So, what happened to you both?” Asked Kazuki.

“I was going to buy parts in Sky’s store, and… they came.” Answered Veselly’s Father.

“Who?” Asked Kazuki.

“The bandits, The elf bandits. They’re fast, We both blacked out by one punch to the stomach, and we don’t know what happened after.” Answered Sky.

Kazuki remembered that he and Khyeira was robbed once, almost twice. “Well, so why did you go here, Khyeira?” Asked Veselly’s father.

“Him (Kazuki) and me are going to go to England, to meet my Brother. Because our village was destroyed by demons.” Answered Khyeira.

“Well… I need to fix the plane, it’s almost done. Maybe tomorrow you can go” Said Veselly’s father.

“Father…Can I go with them?” Asked Veselly.

“We’re going there to kill demons, not to have fun.” Said Khyeira.

“I have trained you know!” Said Veselly.

Khyeira asked Veselly’s father, and he said it was right, she has trained. “To prove you can go with us, defeat Rathomir and I’ll allow you. We’ll do it in the evening.” Said Khyeira.

“Why me?!?!” Said Kazuki.

“Just do it.” Said Khyeira.

Then, a few hours later, Khyeira took Kazuki and Veselly to a field outside the hangar. They had no weapons, they were empty-handed. They both were in a ready state. “And… fight!” Shouted Khyeira.

Veselly charged at him, and kicked at his face, but he blocked it. Then, he punched her, but sh blocked it as well. They were stuck, but Rathomir’s body was weaker than hers. So her leg finally kicked his face, and he fell down. Veselly won.

“Alright, alright. You can go with me.” Said Khyeira.

Veselly was happy.  Then, they all rested in the hangar.

The next day, they waked up, the plane was ready. Kazuki, Khyeira, and Veselly packed their stuff and

gets in the plane, they all had been given a parachute by Veselly’s father. Then, they took off, to England.
