The S-Rank Adventurers and their Companions Facing the Dragon in the Forest.

The Battle of the S Ranks.

After preparing their weapons and armor, they begin their journey to the Forest of Olivos to eliminate the dragon. As they travel, they notice many monsters and beasts fleeing from the forest, indicating that a battle is taking place within. They urge the carriage driver to hurry so they can reach the dragon before it wipes out these creatures, which are essential sources of food and resources for them.

When the adventurers arrive, they find a dragon and a magical beast fighting in the middle of the Forest of Olivos. The magical beast is a giant moose, distinguished by its magical antlers and a horn in the center of its head. It is the largest type of deer found in the country, comparable in size to a dragon.

The magical beast appears to be protecting its territory. The dragon unleashes a fire breath in an attempt to defeat the magical creature. However, the beast uses its antlers to create a massive magic circle, summoning powerful lightning from above. The lightning strikes the dragon, causing a tremendous explosion, while the ground beneath it is fiercely scorched by the electrical energy.

The Adventurers were shocked as they watched the Battle of the Monsters. They were unsure of what to expect, whether it would be the dragon or the magic beast that would emerge victorious.

After the Magic Beast launched its attack, a thick smoke enveloped the area, obscuring their view of the dragon, and leading them to believe it was dead. However, the dragon was mutated and could not be easily killed by a single spell.

Soaring above the Magic Beast, the dragon spoke, "Magic Beast, do you truly think you can kill me with such a weak spell? I didn't dodge it; I simply wanted to feel how feeble your magic was. Now, it's time for me to finish this!" The dragon unleashed its fire breath, but the beast couldn't dodge the attack. However, the magical beast was protected by a barrier, so it didn't take any damage. The dragon remarked, "Not bad for a weak creature," The dragon landed on the ground, preparing for a close fight against the magic beast. The dragon attacked the magic beast with its claws, but the beast remained firmly in place, shielded by its barrier. In response, the dragon unleashed a stronger attack than before—a burst of black flame. The magic beast, however, was ready to counter. It conjured a water ball spell using its antler, resulting in a massive explosion of mana that left a large crater in the ground.

The magic beast lay on the ground while the dragon stood firm, poised to finish off its opponent. Just then, an adventurer intervened, stopping the dragon's attack with a sword. It was the S-rank swordsman who had intervened, and he instructed the other adventurers to protect the magic beast. They realized that the dragon's behavior was unusual, considering that only calamity dragons, hydras, and other ancient dragons could speak. This dragon, being too young, should not be able to talk.

Meanwhile, in Castle Harth, Yashie and the Duke arrived to meet with the King. As they approached, the Duke said, "Sir Harth and Miss Yashie have arrived; please open the door." The door swung open, and the Duke walked inside. Many nobles were looking at them while Yashie marveled at the grandeur of the castle.

The Duke knelt upon seeing His Majesty, and when Harth saw the Duke kneel, he also knelt. However, Yashie remained standing, looking up. Harth then pulled her down to kneel as well and said, "What are you doing? We are in the King's presence; please don't do something foolish."

Yashie replied, "Are you saying I always cause a problem?"

Harth responded, "Just behave."

The king asked, "Young man, are you the one who brought back those adventurers?"

Harth replied, "Yes, Your Majesty, my companion, and I did."

The king said, "In that case, we will reward you for your bravery."

He then asked them what they desired. Harth responded, "We appreciate your generosity, but we don't need anything, my King. We are content with what we have. The Duke has already provided us with what we need."

The king replied, "In that case, we will reward the Duke for allowing you to stay in his house."

The Noble began to speak, saying, "Here comes this leech again, sucking on the king to elevate his status." Harth then locked eyes with the Noble, who suddenly looked frightened. The Princess noticed Harth and, feeling embarrassed, looked at him with a disgusted expression.

The king asked if they knew what happened inside the Dungeon.

Harth looked around at the nobles, and the King ordered them to leave the area.

Harth replied, "My King, this is a serious matter. The monster's behavior is not normal, and I saw it can talk. They even have a horn; it's a mixed-breed monster."

The king Asked if they had part of Those Monsters, Harth showed them the Horn and also showed them the Magic Crystal that dropped from the spiders and Troll-Hobgoblin.

The king was Amazed by what he witnessed.

The princess saw the Drops from the Monster and left.

The king asked if he could have one of the Goblin's horns. He also inquired if he could help fight the hero against the monster inside the dungeon.

Harth thought for a moment and said, "I will do what I can, Your Majesty."

After the meeting, Harth asked the Duke, "Why do they call you a leech?" The Duke replied, "Well, I was born a commoner. However, someone helped me and raised me as a kind man. I wish I could repay his kindness."

Meanwhile, the princess spoke to the overweight noble, who then said, "Lady Sandra, we need to eliminate that boy; otherwise, he will obstruct our plans."

The princess walked away and met with the King. She said to her father, "We need to remove that boy; otherwise, the people of this country will lose trust in us. He will take on the title of our hero."

The King replied, "We can't harm our citizens."

The Adventurers are still battling the Dragon while also healing the Magic Beast. Magic Beasts are known for their intelligence; they can recognize individuals and sense if someone intends to harm them. They understand humans, but it remains unknown whether they have the ability to speak like humans do.

The beast remained on the ground, healing the damage it had taken while the six S-rank adventurers and the others attacked the dragon. They surrounded the creature, casting spells to distract it. The S-rank swordsman used his ability to enhance his body, aiming to cut the dragon's feet. However, he only managed to inflict a minor wound. Undeterred, the mages unleashed fireball spells at the dragon's wings. But the dragon swung its tail, and one of the adventurers was struck, dying instantly.

Seeing it the other adventurers run away and are scared to see a Dead Comrade, Ken the S rank Adventurer tries to stop them but they say "I don't want to Die" and they run away.

Ken (The Swordsman) asked Shira to aim for the dragon's right wing. A Magic Circle was Created for her Staff Shira cast a massive Fireball spell, which struck the wing directly. The dragon let out a scream of pain and swung its tail violently. Darwing tried to block the attack, but he was knocked into a tree, causing a lot of blood to pour from his mouth. Shira was shocked by the scene. "Geen" (The Assassin) then takes her away to the Area and asks "Are you okay" but "Shira" (The Mage) does not respond it seems she's sock about what happened to Darwin.

"Sharia" (The Healer) then approached "Darwin" (The Warrior) and Cast Healing Spell saying "Please don't die!"

The adventurer who left the battlefield in the forest arrived at the Adventurers Guild and found the Guild Master deep in thought. The adventurer recounted their encounter in the forest, and the Guild Master replied, "We need to seek the Majesty's assistance; we can't defeat that monster on our own. Call for young Harth; we will need the army to confront that beast."

The Receptionist then Replied " I will meet and ask for Master Harth" and Left to meet Harth in the Duke House.

The Guild Master arrived at the castle and saw the Princess. He requested an audience with the King. As the two large doors opened, the Guild Master walked inside and knelt before the King. He asked for assistance, explaining that the dragon was too powerful and that they needed an army to defeat it.

The receptionist knocked on the Duke's house, and the maid opened the door. The receptionist then asked, "Is young master Harth here?"

The maid replied, "I'm sorry, miss. The young master and the duke left to meet the king earlier, but they haven't come back yet."

She then asked if the Young Master had come back, as the Guild Master requested for him. The Duke's daughter then went down the stairs and said, "I will tell him if he comes back."

The Receptionist thank her and Leave.

Meanwhile, in the forest, the adventurers are still fighting the dragon, along with other A-ranked adventurers. Darwin remains on the ground, being healed by Shaira.

The other adventurers are engaged with the dragon, and Ken can't leave his position because if he does, the dragon might escape or inflict more harm due to the distraction.

Ken asked the other A-ranked adventurers to help heal Darwin, assuring them that he would pay any cost for their assistance.

While in the castle, the King's army and the hero were preparing to deploy for battle against the dragon. Harth, wearing his new armor and dagger, was with the Duke when they spotted the army. The Duke had accompanied him to the Dwarf Weapon Shop earlier. Curious about the commotion, Harth asked the soldiers what was happening. They informed him that a dragon in the forest was in a rage, attacking innocent people and merchants and that adventurers were trying to deal with the threat.

Harth rushed out, heading to the Guild. On the way, he spotted the Hero, a demi-human with the appearance of a lion, clad in golden armor and wielding a white gold holy sword. He also noticed soldiers chatting among themselves, some remarking, "This is my first time on the battlefield."

Continuing on, Harth soon arrived at the Guild. He approached the receptionist and inquired about the large number of soldiers. She informed him about the recent events involving the other adventurers and guided him to the Guild Clinic, where many were being treated for serious injuries.

Harth was taken aback and asked, "Where are the other adventurers?" The receptionist replied, "They are still in the forest."

Just then, the Guild Master spotted Harth and Yashie with the Duke. He asked if they were there for a new quest, explaining that anyone who participated would receive a reward from the King.

Harth replied "I don't need a reward, but those adventurers needed Help.

He then accepted the Quest and Left.

The King is Talking to the Soldiers saying "now is the time for us to prove that we are the warriors who will pursue evil and save humanity from the Evil Demons"

The Army was then Encouraged by the Speech of the King and said "YEAHHHH!!"

The hero led the group to the forest, riding in a horse-drawn carriage. Soon, they heard a loud noise coming from the woods—a battle was underway. As they arrived, they saw adventurers who had fallen on the battlefield, while others were injured and still fighting. Harth rushed forward and noticed the wounded. He gave them a potion he had made, which he learned to create during his adventures while living alone in his homeland.

He saw Darwin being treated as he gave him the potion. After Darwin drank it, his wound healed quickly, and he was able to move. However, Harth instructed him to rest for a moment, while Yashie helped him to move away from the dragon.

Harth saw the dragon launching an attack. He blocked the dragon's strike using his father's sword and employed Enhanced Defense along with Physical Magic. He managed to block the dragon's attack and countered by slicing its leg, but he did not inflict any damage on the dragon.

The hero charged and attacked the dragon, but the creature didn't even sustain a scratch. It seemed that the dragon's scales were nearly unbreakable, as even the Warrior Hero with his Holy Sword couldn't pierce them. Harth suggested that they cast a Water Blast spell and aim for the dragon's wings while they were still burning from the Fireball attack. Following his advice, a large Water Blast pierced the dragon's wings, Harth noticed that the Dragon's chest had a missing scale. When he attacked the chest, the dragon moved, causing Harth to hit the scale. He realized that the missing scale was the dragon's weakness. The Dragon Talk saying "damn you Humans" and "ill destroy your little City"

Harth sensed a monster approaching from the Deep Forest—a pack of Goblins, Dire Wolves, and some Orcs. The Dragon saw an opportunity and began to eat the monsters around him. He also consumed a Troll, which had regeneration abilities. By doing so, he adopted the Troll's regeneration skill, and soon, his wings started to regenerate as well.

The hero charges and launches an attack, but the dragon counters with a tail swipe, knocking the hero to the ground. Meanwhile, Harth and Ken charge at the same time, striking the dragon's right leg. Harth applies a flame enhancement to his sword, preventing the dragon's leg from regenerating because the flames burn its cells, rendering it unable to heal.

The dragon felt danger, causing him to flee and escape. Meanwhile, the other adventurers dealt with the monsters as the dragon flew and managed to escape from them, and Ken couldn't accept that the Dragon had escaped from them, even with the Hero.

Harth tried to follow the dragon by jumping from tree to tree, but just as he was about to reach it, the dragon vanished from sight. Unable to pursue it, he decided to help the other adventurers by defeating the remaining monsters., When the Hero woke up, he was looking for the Dragon, but they told him that it had already escaped. He was furious when he heard that they let it escape.

Soon after the battle in the forest, they return to the City. The others go straight to the Adventure Guild, while the Royal Army proceeds straight to the Palace. However, the injured come to the clinic to check their wounds.

The S-rank adventurers receive their reward from the Guild, but Harth notices that they don’t seem happy about it. They are frustrated that they received a reward while the dragon escaped and other adventurers lost their lives in the battle.

Harth and Yashie share their discontent, feeling dissatisfied because they didn’t contribute much themselves. They are also saddened by the loss of the others who died at the hands of the dragon.

Meanwhile, in the palace, the soldier from the king who died on the battlefield received a proper burial. In contrast, the adventurers were only buried at the location where they fell. Some members of their party took their bodies and buried them in a cemetery.

However, if you are a solo adventurer and die, you may never receive a proper burial. You might be fortunate if someone takes your body and returns it to your family or friends.

The hero is furious about what happened. He apologizes to the King for being unable to kill the dragon himself. In exchange for his failure, he requests the opportunity to defeat the monster inside the dungeon that Harth mentioned. He also asks if he could join Harth when they confront the Monster in the Dungeon.
