Wenalin's POV

Aimy: "Did you see the book?" She walked towards me. I turned to look at her.

"Yeah, I found it. Here." I handed her the book. Aimy really needed it, not me.

Aimy: "Thanks! I really need this book to finish my assignment."

Aimy took the book from me and sat down in an empty seat. She placed the book on the table and started working on her assignments. Aimy's head was buried in the book as she did her work. I watched her, she was so serious about her assignments, so I decided to sit beside her. I wasn't doing anything anyway.

Aimy: "I thought you were going somewhere with Natalie today?"

"No, Eri and Kara are with her. They went somewhere."

Aimy: "Oh, I see." She continued writing her assignment.

I nodded at her even though she wasn't looking at me. While I was talking to Aimy, Natalie suddenly appeared in the library.

Natalie: "Finally, I found you both." She said breathlessly, catching her breath. She immediately approached us. "I've been looking for you everywhere. I almost searched the whole school."

"Nat? Why are you here? I thought you were going somewhere with Eri and Klara?"

Natalie: "That's why we went somewhere! That's why I have some gossip for you." She said excitedly and sat down in the empty seat opposite us. "But before I tell you... do you have any water?"

"I didn't bring any."

Aimy: "Don't ask me." She continued writing.

"Just tell me already, what is it?"

Natalie: "Guess." She said with a smirk.

"Do I look like a fortune teller?"

Natalie: "Come on, guess."

"Ugh, fine. Okay. Did Zander smile at you again and then take your water for himself?"

That's what she always tells us, there's nothing new about it.

Natalie: "THAT'S RIGHT!!". She blushed.

I noticed Natalie was gushing and giggling, her reaction was like a lovesick teenager.

Aimy and I looked at each other, shaking our heads.

"You're really obsessed with that basketball player."

Natalie: "What can I say? He's hot, and he's super handsome." Natalie said with a goofy smile.

Aimi: "That's why I don't understand you. You have a lot of other guys admiring you, but you pick that guy specifically." Aimy said with a disapproving look.

I nodded in agreement with Aimy.

Natalie: "So what? He's handsome! And he's the captain of the basketball team!"

"Oh, and?"

Natalie: "And also, he's one of the most popular guys in our school! Who wouldn't like him, right?"

"Me."

Natalie: "Okay, okay. I get it, you don't like him. But admit it, he's attractive, right?"

I shook my head at her. It's true, I don't find him attractive.

Natalie: "You can't say he's not handsome! Just look at his body and his—"

Aimy: "NATALIE, STOP!"

Aimy stopped Natalie and covered her mouth to prevent her from speaking.

I just tried not to laugh.

Natalie removed Aimy's hand from her mouth.

Natalie: "Aww, c'mon, don't you see that Zander is handsome?" She asked Aimy.

Aimy: "Even if I'm attracted to him, I wouldn't be obsessed with him like you."

Natalie: "Oh, come on! You're just jealous because you don't have anyone to obsess over like me." She smirked.

Aimy: "Why would I be jealous of you? I'm focused on my studies."

I nodded in agreement with Aimy.

Natalie: "Okay, okay. Tsk. Typical of a loner who doesn't have anyone who likes her." Natalie glared at Aimy before rolling her eyes.

Aimy: "Be quiet! I'll get a boyfriend if I want to!" Aimy pouted and glared at Natalie.

"Hey, hey, stop that conversation. By the way, Nat, where are Eri and Klara?"

Natalie: "I left them at the cafeteria. They're buying snacks."

"Ahh."

Natalie and Aimy groaned when they heard the familiar voices arguing.

Natalie: "Speak of the devils, here they are."

I saw Kara and Eri walk in while still arguing with each other. They were both holding snacks. What are they arguing about again?

Eri: "Kara, just stop it already. I swear you're so annoying!"

Kara: "Me?? You're the annoying one. You're so loud, like a trumpet!"

Eri: "Oh, just shut up already. My noise is so much more bearable than yours!"

Kara: "That's because you talk so much and say such nonsense!"

As I watched the two girls continue to bicker, Aimy and Natalie just rolled their eyes at their argument, but I kinda expected it.

Librarian: "You four, stop all that noise. I'm here to study, not talk!"

The librarian shushed them like some children.

Both Kara and Eri turned to her to say something, but Natalie and Aimy quickly cut them off.

Natalie: "Sorry, ma'am" she said with a smile.

Aimy: "Yeah, we'll stop." Aimy said as she pushed Kara and Eri into a seat.

"That's what you get for arguing in the library."

Eri: "It's her fault!"

Kara: "Oh, it's so your fault!"

The librarian stared at us for a few seconds before nodding and going back to her desk.

Natalie: "Phew, you two need to learn how to lower your voices."

Eri: "Me?? Kara is louder!"

Kara: "Says the girl who screams every time she sees a handsome guy!"

Natalie's face turned red at that comment while Eri and Kara snickered at her reaction.

Natalie: "Hoy, that's not true!"

Kara: "But it's true." Kara said with a smirk.

Natalie: "It is not!" Natalie said with a pout.

Few Minutes Later

Aimy: "So this is it. The librarian kicked us out because you three were so loud. I'm not done yet finishing my assignment."

Eri: "That's not my fault!"

Kara: "Oh, it's so your fault!"

The two of them started arguing again.

Kara: "If you weren't so noisy, we wouldn't have been kicked out of the library. Your flirting is always your priority!"

Eri: "Wow, is it my fault now?"

Kara: "Because it's true, right!"

Aimy: "SHUT UP!" Aimy said with a disapproving look.

Both Kara and Eri immediately stopped arguing and looked at Aimy.

Aimy: "YOU TWO, WILL YOU EVER STOP? IT'S YOUR FAULT! I CAN'T FINISH MY ASSIGNMENT! ARGH!"

Aimy started to walk fast.

Natalie: "Wow, she only gets mad when it comes to her studies."

Kara: "She really takes her studies seriously."

We followed Aimy.

Eri: "I would be too, since she's always the top ranker of our batch."

Kara: "Yeah, but she can be a bit overboard sometimes." She said while eating her snack.

Eri took some of Kara's snack.

Eri: "This is delicious. Try mine, it's good."

Kara: "Let me try."

Natalie: "Oh, me too!"

And they were okay again. They're really crazy.
