Unexpected encounter

[Author's POV]

There was a woman walking through the forest in the middle of the night, holding a flashlight.

Wenalin: "Guys, where are you? Guys, stop this prank, it's not funny anymore! Where are you? Show yourselves, guys!"

As Wenalin walked, she was startled and her eyes widened when she saw a man lying unconscious and bloody under a tree. Wenalin was too scared to move, thinking the man might be dead. She stepped back and quickly hid behind a tree, covering her mouth. Her heart was pounding with fear, she didn't know what to do.

The unconscious man Wenalin saw, whom she thought was dead, was Matteo. Matteo was still unconscious, his body lying under the tree. Wenalin was still unsure what to do, she peeked again in Matteo's direction, feeling afraid seeing the blood on Matteo. Wenalin stepped back, she was about to run but suddenly someone pulled her towards Matteo's direction. Wenalin sat down when she was placed in front of Matteo. When she looked behind, it was a branch that was pulling her away. Wenalin was trembling with fear, not knowing what was happening. She looked at Matteo and slowly approached him, placing her finger on Matteo's nose to check if he was still alive. He was still breathing.

Wenalin: "H-He's alive. He needs to be taken to the hospital, but there's no hospital here... What do I do... I need to get help... Oh my god!" Wenalin stood up and searched her pockets for her phone to call for help. "Oh my god, I didn't bring it! What bad luck! Help! Help! Oh my god, I'll lose my voice, there's no one here! Oh my god, whatever! "

Wenalin placed Matteo's hand on her shoulder and helped him stand up.

Wenalin: "Oh my god, you're so heavy!" She started walking.

Carefully helping Matteo, her body was weak from his injuries. A weak groan escaped his lips, and the pain and weakness were evident in his expression.

Wenalin: "Oh my god, just hold on, we're almost at the vacation house."

Wenalin struggled to support Matteo's weight with each step. Matteo remained unconscious, but he moved occasionally.

They reached the vacation house.

Carefully, Wenalin laid Matteo on the bed and began to treat his wounds. While Wenalin was treating Matteo, she heard the heavy sound of rain outside and the strong gusts of wind.

After Wenalin finished treating Matteo's wounds, she fell asleep on the side of the bed, her head resting on her hand on the bed while her body was on the floor.

The sunlight hit the window. Matteo slowly opened his eyes, confused by the unfamiliar surroundings. He tried to sit up on the bed, immediately wincing in pain from his wounds. As he took a moment to catch his breath, Matteo couldn't help but notice the bandages and medical supplies scattered nearby. He realized someone had taken care of his wounds while he was unconscious. The memories of what happened to him the night before came back to him.

Matteo: "Where am I?" as he looked around the room. "How did I get here?"

As he looked around the room, he noticed Wenalin sleeping in the chair. Matteo's mind was filled with questions. Who is this person? Did she help me? If she did, why did she help me?

Matteo tried to get out of bed, but his body was still weak and he could still feel the pain. With a groan, he managed to sit up and looked around. He then looked at Wenalin, who was sleeping soundly. He couldn't get out of his mind who Wenalin was and why she helped him.

Matteo heard the door open in the living room, it must be Wenalin's companion... Matteo didn't want anyone else to see him. Even though he was in pain,he slowly lower his face and he bite gently wenalin neck,wenalin gasp in her sleep and Matteo slowly got out of bed. The pain and weakness in his body still seemed to overwhelm him, but he knew he couldn't stay there any longer. He looked back at Wenalin before silently walking towards the window.

He stopped for a moment, his hand on the window latch. Despite his urgency to leave, he looked back one last time at Wenalin. Part of his mind knew he should thank her, but he needed to get away before anyone saw him. He immediately jumped out of the window.

The bedroom door opened. Kurt opened the door. He saw Wenalin sleeping soundly on the side of the bed, and the scattered bandages on the floor. He furrowed his brow.

Kurt: "Tsk."

He took off his jacket and slowly approached Wenalin, placing his jacket on her shoulders. He stood there, his hands in his pockets.

[Wenalin's POV]

I slowly opened my eyes when I felt something on my shoulder. I immediately sat up, looking around to see who it was. It was a man. Who is this man? He had a serious expression.

Suddenly, my friend Natalie came in.

Natalie: "Oh, what happened here? Wenalin, why are you there? Did you do something to my friend?" She said, pointing a finger at the man's face.

I stood up. What is this woman saying? She's acting crazy again.

Kurt: "Tsk. I'm not interested in your friend." He crossed his arms.

As if I'm interested in him.

Natalie: "What do you mean you're not interested?if you're not interested Why are you here?"

Kurt: "I'm just getting something."

Natalie: "Oh, you're just getting something. Not Just because you're the president..."

I remembered the man from last night. I immediately looked at the bed. I was surprised to see he was no longer there. I quickly searched the room, but there was no trace of the man. Confusion and worry filled my mind as I wondered where he went. My friend Aimy came in.

Aimy: "Oh, what happened here? Are you okay, Lin?"

"Where did the man go?"

Natalie: "Huh? What man?"

"The white man I treated last night? Didn't you see him?"

Natalie: "You treated him? Hey Kurt, did you see a man here?"

He shook his head seriously.

Aimy: "Are you drunk? What white man? We're the only ones here."

Eri: "Oh, what's going on here? Why does it seem like chaos?"

Aimy: "I don't know, Lin said she treated a man last night, but there's no one else vacationing here, it's just us."

Kara: "Hmm, maybe she just wants to scare us because we hid from her last night."

"No, I'm serious, I really treated a man last night, he slept on the bed here."

Natalie: "Lin, stop scaring us."

"I'm not scaring you, I'm serious!"

Eri: "Oh my god, don't tell me you really went to the forest last night."

I nodded, surprised.

Eri: "Oh my god, isn't there a rumor that the forest is scary? They say if you go there, you won't come back. They even say someone kills there."

I suddenly remembered the man's wounds. Could it be true?

Kara smack slapp in Eri arms.

Eri: "Ouch, why?"

Kara: "Stop that, it's not true. Those things are just to scare yourselves. You know, let's go home, we have school tomorrow." She walked out of the room.

Eri: "But Lin said..." She followed Kara.

Kara: "If you don't stop, we'll leave you there."

Aimy followed them.

Natalie: "You know, maybe you're just tired or you were dreaming. We should go home, by the way, this is Kurt, my cousin. I know you don't know him even though he's the president of our school."

The man just rolled his eyes and walked out of the room.

Natalie: "Just ignore him, he's always like that. I'm going to get ready, you should too." She smiled and walked out of the room.

I looked at the window.

I wonder where that man went?
