CHAPTER 4: COLD END

With the defeat of the female beast ward, Axel was tagged very dangerous, too dangerous to be roaming free, the power of the Beast Burn was not just a threat to the leaders of the various clans but also a warning to them that something was much stronger than them. The vail which separated the forest from the human world was now weakened due to the massive explosion of power demonstrated by. Axel. At the edge of the forest, two humans, both wearing full armor and holding big blades, came through the forest in search if someone. Among these boys was a man with blindfold, white hair and a really long sword. He was known as the "Blind Snake" for short he was called Snake, a dungeon hunter from the human world the same world where the magic from behind the vail flows to. For sometime in the human world the flow of magic was unstable, as if some powerful entity came all the way from hell to eat up the world, and they were here to get rid of it.

In the white wolf clan Axel was again held captive by the Alpha and the other clan leaders, "You know holding me here is worthless if I would attack you I would have when I was in that feral state.", Axel said. He was ignored by all the leaders until the Lord of the sky the king of the bird clan released him. "You want freedom, then fight for it beast king.", the Lord of the sky said with a fierce look in his eyes, "And if I say no.", "You'll die.", Axel looked at the Lord of the sky and shook his head, "You really have the will to fight huh, OK!!!", as he said the last word he punched the Lord of the sky and flew up to the sky. The Lord of the sky followed him and threw him down to the ground, he commanded the storm and shot a lightning bolt at Axel. When the area was clear Axel came out untouched in his jomungund armor, he dug into the ground and punched himself from behind to the Lord of the sky but was caught, threw into the sky and slammed back to the ground. "Really, is that it, this is the power of the great beast king", the Lord of the sky mocked him "You want to see power, ok no problem", as he altered those words his eyes started to emit flames, burning stripes drew all over his body in uneven patterns, his hair elongated resembling a lion's mane which was also set ablaze, his teeth sharpened, and his canines elongated, finally, claws grew on his hands transforming him to the beast burn state, his burning eyes turned red and a red gem appeared on his chest, "THIS IS THE POWER YOU WANT TO SEE, THEN HERE YOU GO!!!!!!!!!". Axel roared loudly and a wave of fire surrounded him.

The Lord of the sky had never seen power of this degree, Axel tackled him so fast he fell to the ground before he could attempt to fly, Axel continued with a loud roar as fire rushed around his body to his mouth l, he lowers his head and looked at the Lord of the sky and shot a huge fire blast from his mouth tho the Lord of the sky. After the blast was cleared, the Lord of the sky was still alive without a single burn or scar. But In between the Lord of the sky and Axel was snake who had used his sword to protect the Lord of the sky. "You know boy, I'm shocked to see that you had that much power, mind a change of opponent.", Axel roared as he looked at him and used the same attack he used previously but was stopped by snake, he cut of Axel's hands and kicked him in the face knocking him away, "Get up" he said, Axel's hands grew back in an instant but the other two hunters froze him. "Ok boys let's clean um up", as he altered those words a huge energy fell on all who were not human, and they fell to the ground unable to move. Snake and his two accomplices started to slaughter all the members of each of the clans. Their screams filled the sky and could be heard by Axel, the agony, pain, distress, suffering, all their emotions clouded Axel and awoke something in him, something that he didn't know the source of, a memory, a strange memory which he had no account of, just the feeling that he has been there, he had done it before, he has been the beast king before. As he closed his eyes, he saw the house where he was being bullied by Rose, as he entered he saw the lifeless body of a little girl, and run towards it, he took the girl and looked for signs which proved she was alive, but failed. He then heard someone move in, this person his on the shadows and refused to come out even after Axel asked who he was. "Who was she?", Axel asked, "She was my little sister.", the voice of the person was cold and uneasy, it had signs of agony, pain of loss and most importantly, hurt. "I'm sorry for your loss", Axel said, "Hm she was a sweet girl, we lost our parents as children, hm, she was so heartbroken when it happened. So, I... I..., I promised I'll protect her.", "What happened", "Well, we met a woman who took care of us, she cared for us, and then she took our souls then I...... I...... I ...I....", "I get it, I lost my memory and can't remember, but somehow I feel like... like I understand, I understand you more than anyone else.", "Forget about me, I couldn't save my sister, but you can save the white wolves and the other beast clans, hurry and leave.", "I can't, I might as well stay here.", "Do you fell cold inside?", "Yes", "Well if I told you that your beast burn is through burning rage will you believe me?", "Yeah obviously, rage burns so sadness.........., freeze's", "Go, go and save them at least those you can."

As Axel slept, snake and his boys killed the members of the clans until a giant black dragon flew in. According to Flare that was the dragon Axel turned into two years ago, the dragon attacked them and killed snake before he could retaliate. Finally, the ice Axel was in cracked and burst. With long white hair, eyes glowing with a cold red glare, hands coated in ice, this was the power carved from his sadness, solidified into cold ice the power of THE BEAST FREEZE, he looked up and saw the dragon that was rampaging in the forest, he pointed his finger at it and shot a beam of ice at it, freezing the dragon. He looked around and was taking by fear, hatred and despair. He was angry but he could do nothing. The residence of the forest were killed leaving an injured Flare, the Lord of the sky and Blanc. The dragon which was frozen shot a ball of fire and unfroze itself. Axel looked at Flare and told her to stay and find place to hide. She looked at him as he smiled, she felt a shock run down her spine and shouted his name as he told him to stop. Blanc took her away, far away from the forest. Axel now at peace looked at the dragon and jumped solidifying the air to forming ice steps to the dragon, it knocked him away revealing the rider, the Lord of the sky took the liberty to help Axel by catching him and throwing him up to the dragon.

Axel felt everything moved slow, feeling even the slightest detail in the surrounding movements, shocked that he was about to die a foolish death, he cried to himself "NO I.... I.... I, DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!!!!", but his decision was already in effect he caused a huge ice explosion which froze everything in the forest including the one who ignited the explosion. The cold wind run through the forest like wild beast roaring as if all in the frozen wasteland belonged to it. The vail which separated the forest from the human world was also frozen preventing anything inside from going out, and anything outside from going in.
