Chapter 17: Opposition

Jonah was busy sipping his coffee when kelvin entered the room to sit ,but on seeing him he hissed and walked back making his eyelids twitched..

" Nonsense"

Kelvin muttered under his breath as he skipped towards Derek's room.

Derek face still looked pale and after that little episode of him vomiting blood,the rest had taken turns in watching him to avoid further mishap .

Donald and Gabriel were coming over from there rooms as well to see Derek when they saw kelvin walking towards them with a scrowl on his face.

" Kelvin it's still early in the morning why are you frowning".

" Some disgusting idiot 😒 ruined my mood".

Donald smirked before shaking his head and walking into Derek's room, Gabriel laughed as he held him by the shoulder teasing.

" You too would make a great couple you know "

" No way who wants to friends with an ingrate like him ".

Kelvin scoffed but entered Derek's room who still look pale and weak,manger Kim and the doctor who was checking up on him were already in the room

" Manager Kim".

The boys chorus happily making him nod,the doctor exchange few words with him before leaving.

"No stressful exercise minus singing until he gets better".

" Okay doctor "

" I can see my voice isn't hurt and am perfectly fine "

Derek argued making manager kim sneered.

" Says the person who vomited blood and fainted ".

Derek pressed his lips into thin line.

" Doctor we will listen to you, thanks for your time". manager Kim uttered softly seeing the doctor off.

" Really am fine ,see I can even talk".

" Yup but we aren't taking any chances ".

Derek lips twitched helplessly before he felt a little warmth seeing there kind gesture.

" So am supposed to stay in bed till when now "

" Still you get heal dummy,if you weren't sick I would have smack your head"kelvin grumbled .

Derek smirk as he eyed him with distain.

" You can try then skeleton butt shaker,I wonder what the girl fans See's in him calling him hubby,hubby my ass".

Donald and Gabriel chuckled hearing this, kelvin scoffed as he seat beside him.

" Count yourself lucky y'all a patient or I would have pounce on you".

" Yuck,save that to your female fan's "

Derek said with a scrunch up face.

"Hahahaha "

Donald and Gabriel couldn't hold there laughter in anymore , holding there belly as they looked at the stunned kelvin with pitiful look.

Kelvin looked at Derek with annoyance and snorted irritatingly before looking away a smile forcing it way to his lips.

The duos were busy laughing happily away not noticing Jonah who looked at them with envy and hate,his fist clenched as he looked at Derek with murderous look before leaving the door and going away .

Manger Kim who was coming back happened to see his sinister expression and frowned.

"The boy better not try anything stupid else he was going to end his career for good".

Jared had a bottle of gin in his hand as his other hand held his hair,which looked rough and messy,he groaned before he took a sip.

BANG!!!

Chris entered the wine cellar and was stunned seeing the sight before him.

" Jared are you crazy"

Chris howl as he rushed to remove the bottle of gin from Jared's hand.

Jared looked at him weakly and stretch his hand to collect it but dropped it back feeling no strength in his arm.

" Give it back"

" Are you going to drink yourself to death"

"It's none of your business give it back"

" Jared are seriously okay right now,do you want to die how could you drown half a bottle of white 95% alcoholic gin "

"Hmph....

Jared grunted with distrust,as he eyed him with annoyance.

" Why are you doing this to yourself what's your f*cking problem".

" Antonio is my problem"

Jared yelled out loudly making Chris freeze.

" What did you say???.

Chris asked with shock.

" You heard me right!.

" He wasn't the one who got two ladies pregnant, firing workers for no good reason and now this,the boy has it tougher than you do so stop sporting nonsense*.

" Nonsense hehe"

Jared chuckled darkly,...

He pushed himself up and staggered but Chris held him by the shoulder to help him stand well.

" They prefer him more than I do, better to go to my grandparents place than to stay here".

" Jared you seriously need a checkup,do you know what your mother had to go through just to raise you guys and keep you away from them".

" Who cares she is just selfish and I hate her".

Chris trembled breaking out in cold sweat when he raised his head to see a pair of cold green eyes staring at them .

" Antonio I....we...."

Chris spluttered not knowing what to say to cover up what Jared said because he knew he was drunk and was also saying what was in his mind.

" Oh look who's is here mommy's little baby"Jared mocked in hate," what do you feel happy seeing me like this huh?..

Jared roared making Antonio raised his eyebrows cockily as he opened his mouth saying.

" I don't speak with drunken fools".

" WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY??

Jared questioned, Antonio didn't even spare him a glance as he walked towards his room.

" Come back here am not done talking to you"Jared said drunkly his eyes red,his breath smelly making Chris winced .

" Gosh Jared just how much did you drink you stink."

Chris helped him to his room, signalling the butler to make a hangover soup for him.

" What a disgrace"

The butler thought before going to the kitchen to ask the chef to prepare hangover soup for Jared.

Antonio ignored him as if he didn't exist and went to his room to change his clothes,as he was smell of hospital disinfectant which he hated.

" That girl ,her eyes were such a captivating art he could get lost in them ".

Pushing the little thought behind his mind he wrapped a towel around his waist and walked to the bathroom.

" This guys is heavy "Chris cursed Jared a thousand times in his heart as he felt an headache coming just thinking of all then nonsense he spurt and did.

" Just hope that kid doesn't take it to heart,if I were him I would have given Jared a punch".

Chris looked at Jared giving him one last look before leaving the room going downstairs.

" Please do take care of him"

Chris said with a forced smile at the butler who just nodded in response.

Talia swam towards the busy market place to get new makeup stuffs for herself when she sighted Sofia and Gaya.

" Hello your highness"

Gaya teases making Talia smiled .

"How are you guys doing today ".

" Just greet,where are you off to?.

" Of course you know we mermaids have to look fresh and beautiful "

Talia winked making the girls giggled as they swam together.

" Isn't that Boston"Sofia muttered with confusion.

" Boston"..

Both Gaya and Talia chorus but Sofia failed to notice the hidden meanings behind there tones.

Boston was the queen cousin and he had been pursuing Talia for a long time ,behind him were five merguards and two electric jellyfish for protection.

" Talia".

Boston called out on sighting Talia making a frown appear on her face.

" What does this freak wants now ".

Talia cursed with annoyance but Gaya was giving her a strange look.

" Your highness"

The girls greeted,but Boston just waved them off his eyes filled only with Talia.

" Talia how have you been"

" Fine your majesty"

Talia responded with a fake smile,Boston grinned as he looked at her with desire and love in his eyes.

Talia saw this and secretly rolled her eyes in disgust, meanwhile Gaya who saw this scene had an unamused look on her face eyeing them both before looking away,her first clenched.

" How about I take you girls shopping".

" Really your majesty"

Sofia shrieked in happiness,calculating what she was going to get for herself using his supreme power.

" Of course,you girls lead the way, Talia would you walk by my side ".

" I..I would love to your highness "

Talia blushed not from shame but from anger feeling Boston holding her hand making her body feel goosebumps but she just smiled..

" Okay then...."

Boston grinned as he and his men followed after the girls.

A cold looking blue eyes looked at there retreating back before sneering swimming towards Talia's shell.

" She must have hid that gem stone somewhere, where's it".

Morgana grumbled as she flipped through Talia's thing but couldn't find what she was looking for.

With a grunt she turned to leave but stopped seeing the messy floor,to avoid suspicious she used her magic before swimming away from the place to find the gem stone.

"That gem stone has to be within this vicinity".

Morgana whispered softly then her eyes momentarily caught a shell in a corner fall from the main coast.

" Isn't that Melissa's home?maybe I should look there".

Morgana swam towards Melissa's sea shell ,she quickly got to work , flipping, breaking and scattering things ,soon she found what she was looking for in a small black wooden box.

" The gem stone, hehehe how perfect"

Morgana smirked swimming in circles before she places the box in her small pouch which was tied to her waist.

Now she was going to start her perfect and flawless plan of making the entire oceans,sea and animals bow to her .

Morgana tongue clicked just think of being respected by all when she flinched hearing the familiar voice.

" M.. Melissa is that you???.

Lydia called out in disbelief seeing her in front of her.

Morgana turned around to give her a sidelong look before she smirked and before another word could be uttered she disappointed on spot.

"That smell....d..dark magic!

Lydia widened her eyes in bewilderment," Dark magic, impossible how did Melissa get her hands on it what did she even came for ".

Lydia exclaimed before swimming towards Melissa's shell and on sniffing the air and frozed....

" This wasn't any dark magic it was the seas and mermaids only Nemesis"..
