Chapter 12:This is my Daughter

Back at the star estate,Jonah was busy eating and drinking as his assistant watched from the side.

" Jonah you know you should have been in the studio already".

" And so what?....

Jonah scoffed, drinking more vodka, making his assistant grimace.

" They won't start the recording without me so I want them to beg earnestly for it"he smirked arrogantly not knowing the others have already started recording the song.

Jonah looked at his phone sneakily and scoffed seeing no message he dismissed his assistant saying he would call for him later .

" Okay but give them a call to explain"

" Whatever "

Jonah rolled his eyes with obvious disinterest and sip his drink,his assistant spare him a glance shaking his head in disapproval before walking away.

Few hours past and Jonah felt uncomfortable not seeing any messages,he gritted his teeth eyeing his phone .

" What's going on,why aren't they calling yet"

He shoved the terrible feeling arousing in him down as he fold his arms under his chest thinking deeply.

He was the main vocalist no one could do the lyrics without him.

Comforting himself with this he smiled but soon frozed.

" Jonah you need to see this"

His assistant walked towards him flustered,he took the phone his hand trembling.

" What's the meaning of this".

" You have been given a warning notice this is the second time already,not only that the boss also wants to meet you".

" Ahhh"Jonah scoffed.

" What now they couldn't beg so they resort to reporting me how childish".

The assistant who knew the whole truth and didn't drop all details pursed his lips in silence.

" So what are we going to do now ?...

" What else am sure it's that shitty Donald that reported me ,let's go".Jonah huffed grabbing his phone but stopped.

" Lemme change first I meet you in ten minutes"

He jogged to his room not seeing the disgust that flashed past his assistant eyes.

" If it wasn't for him,he would have been promoted already".

The assistant clenched his fist before walking out to wait for him in the nanny van.

The meeting was filled with silence as everyone stared at Jared who had a cold look on his face as his eyes scanned the documents in his eyes.

The shareholders all gulped nervously waiting for his verdict.

BAM!!!!

Jared slam the document on the table making them flinched as he chuckled darkly.

" Is this what you called work hmmm"

" Is this what you want to promote,work on as a project".

" IS IT???...

Jared roared make them all break out in cold sweat as they all glanced at each other with fear,while some secretly glared at Jared with dislike.

"You want the company to work with you,then what whose gonna reap the benefits.me? You?or the masses".

One of the older shareholders couldn't hold it in anymore and glared at him.

" With all due respect Mr Jared,you accusing everyone who had been working hard on this project for months,not pinpointing the errors to show where we need correction but just shouting at everyone is it right to say you don't even know what you are doing".

Mr peter resort fiercely....

" What did you say repeat if you dare".

Gasps ran out as everyone looked at Jared in shock.

" I will say it again, but the truth is always bitter what you're doing is totally wrong and uncalled for ".

" Fine then"Jared scoffed watching everyone who tensed up in there seats .

" Henceforth the rainbow park project is cancelled you can go look for sponsor's yourself and also peter drop your resignation letter when you go out the door! meeting adjourned".

Jared spoke all too coldly in one breath leaving the meeting room with his assistant on his tail.

Me peter scoffed everyone murmured with obvious dissatisfaction.

" This Jared is starting to get on our nerves if it was his mother or brother they would have been considerate".

" This is rubbish".

" So unfair how could he even ask Mr peter to submit his resignation letter ".

" This is ridiculous, cancelling a project we have been working on for ten months ".

Mr peter scoffed before walking out of the room,few others also stood up to leave.

Meanwhile as soon as Mr peter got to his office he made a phone call to Sofia who was currently coming down from the plane with Melissa.

"Welcome back ma'am"

The butler who came to pick them up with four other cars greeted and was stunned when he saw a girl behind her.

" Ma'am this is "...

" My daughter"...

"????...

The butler didn't say anything and took them to the awaiting car, Melissa eyes scanned the area warily but with Sofia patting on her head she calmed down.

" What's the situation at home ".

Sofia asked on the way,the butler didn't know how he should respond exactly.

" Well it complicated ma'am when we get back to the mansion I will explain everything in details".

Sofia raised her eyebrow hearing this but said nothing and looked down to see Melissa who was nervously biting her nails.

" This child was really cute ".

Lydia was anxious to see Melissa again after there little encounter as the stone bridge between the coral reefs she hadn't set her eyes on her again making her worried.

Talia swam inside and sat her mother looking out the waves with a sad look.

Lydia snapped out of her thought and looked at Talia strangely even Talia felt nervous.

" Has she found out yet? impossible I hid it so well".

" Mom why do you look so sad ".

" Why is it your business since it has nothing to do with you anyway,I never expected that one day my own child would stoop so low".

Talia forced a smile on her face.

" Mom,how many times will I tell you that I wasn't involved with whatever you are thinking, Melissa was my friend just a pity that an outcast would be an outcast,I didn't expect her to be so vicious".

Talia lied pushing the blame to Melissa.

" Since she isn't here let her bear the bad name and destroy her reputation too,".

" Hmmm,"

Lydia sneered coldly before standing up and swimming away from the house,Talia looked at her mother's back and gritted her teeth.

" Melissa this? Melissa that?....

" What exactly does Melissa has that she doesn't, anyways she was going to be the future queen of the coast and she won't allow anyone not even her mother ruin it for her ".

An evil glint flashed past her eyes before she swam towards her seashell to take a nap.

The racing stadium was filled with dust as different sport cars try to outrun each other.

The deafening sound of cheers and victorious mechanic sound signalling the end of the race and the winner of a black sport car.

" And the winner is .... Antonio!......

Screams ran out as everyone cheers.

" Antonio look here"

" Oh my gosh he's so manly"

" I want him"....

Erebus smiled seeing his friend who removed his helmet his cold and handsome face displaying on the big screens.

The fans and audience screamed loudly seeing this and flowers were thrown into his direction.

Antonio happened to catch a white lilly and the owner screamed before fainting out of excitement.

"This...."

Erebus was speechless, seeing this scene what's was so good about his cold poker face anyways.

"Hmmm"Erebus snorted irritatingly.

" This guys don't have taste at all".

Fan girls"shut up you're just jealous"

Erebus "......"

" Alright he gave up before they start to attack him further".

Antonio moved to collect his prize of ten million,a gold medal,and two brand sport cars as a reward.

The other winner had there winners too, unexpectedly as Antonio turned he caught sight of Ken sorry state as he was being rushed to the ambulance.

A cold glint flashed past his eyes before looking away.

Ken who was being taken for treatment felt a chill down his spine as he wondered why he was feeling cold despite being injured.....

" Guy you look cool,but we are gonna share the gift"Erebus said earning a glare from Antonio.

" Did you race,were you sweaty or did sand blow in your eyes"

Antonio mocked Erebus who glared at him in distaste.

" You're so not sweet ".

" Do I look like a walking candy to you"

"Okay he was so not talking to this parrot mouth huh?....

Erebus poured his lips making Antonio smirked before throwing a car key at him.

" Take the grey spot car ,it suits your personality anyways".

" Yes!thank you !thank you ,I know you love me Antonio "Erebus cooed softly making Antonio cringe in disgust.

" Stay away from me yuck!...

Erebus laughed so hard holding his stomach as he followed behind Antonio teasing him.

Sofia had a frown on her face as she stared at her laptop,her butler had given all the details of what happened recently at home.

" No !Jared had two ladies pregnant for him,he had a fight with Antonio too".

Sofia phone rung as she picked it up.

" Hello Mr Louis what's it".

" Mrs Sofia glad you could finally pick up your call,this is seriously bad there was an issue today and Mr Jared canceled the rainbow project".

" WHAT????

Sofia glared up in anger ...

" Not only that ma'am,but Mr peter was asked to submit his resignation letter to".

" WHAT DID YOU SAY!????

Sofia was speechless hearing this.

" Had Jared gone nut or what "...

" Okay forward his contact details to me ,i will talk to him".

" Okay ma " .

The call ended and Sofia scoffed in anger,just as she looked up she was stunned seeing Melissa holding a tray clumsily with three maids walking behind her carefully.

" What was she doing".

" Miss please the tea is hot,let's help you carry it".

" Yes miss please don't hurt yourself ".

" No I want to give it to her myself ". Melissa shook her head.

The maid could only sigh helplessly looking at the cute Melissa who eyes brighten on seeing Sofia...

" Hey careful dear,"

Sofia and the maid had manage to take the tray placing it on the table.

Melissa pressed her lips into thin line and looked at the tea.

" You want him to drink right".

Melissa nodded quickly,Sofia was even scared her head would fall off.

" Aiyoh! ma'am miss tried hard to bring it over".

" She probably wants you to relax"

The maids chipped in praise,sofia smiled before seeping from the tea her eyes wide with shock.

" This tea is so good".

" Ma'am,miss made it herself".

Melissa looked nervously at Sofia who smiled before holding her hand .

"Thank you"

Melissa smiled including the maids,they had noticed she couldn't talk but still couldn't help loving her.

Sofia was going to take up the cup to enjoy another seep when the door was closed with a bang startling everyone.

Gwen entered the house in a foul mood she had gone to Jared office to see him but was thrown out by the security.

" And who allowed peasants entered inside my house ".

The maids gasped,Sofia frowned and Melissa looked at her warily.

" Are you guys deaf or what or oh?...Gwen gasped eyeing the two female guest who were being served by the maids.

" Are you perphas pregnant for Jared".

The maid nearly jumped out of there skins.

" Was this lady okay,how could she talk to Madam like that"they screamed in there minds.

Sofia laughed hearing this.

" And where did this spoilt brat come from"she asked making Gwen glare down at her harshly.

" You are the spoilt brat you old hag".

" Haaaaaaaa ".

Gasps rang out,Sofia frozed in disbelief hearing this,the butler who was coming in nearly had an heart attack.

Just as everyone was waiting for the show, Antonio who came back with Erebus had a bright light in his eyes seeing her .

" Mom you're back".

" Yes son,indeed I am ,and I seems to also be enjoying a spectacular scene of something calling me an old hag"

Gwen was already trembling.

" Who uttered that statement "Antonio asked coldly and watched as the the maids pointed at Gwen."

" You dare to call my mom an old hag".

Before Antonio could lift his feet they saw a figure flash past and bounce on Gwen beating her up leaving them all stunned.

" Dear leave her alone don't get hurt"Sofia stood up and rushed to separate the girls.

Melissa stopped but not before kicking Gwen,who laid panting with a messy appearance.

" It's okay dear calm down , don't mind her ".

Sofia hugged Melissa trembling body to herself.

Antonio who was watching the scene frozed seeing a beautiful stranger with the rarest blue eyes he had ever seen ..
