Chapter 6:Was that a mermaid?

Morgana crackles evily her voices echoing through the cave Walls.

" Finally time to carry out my plan, don't worry Melissa,this deal of ours will serve me well"

With a smile , Morgana swam towards a corner before placing the box on a rock pushing it further Inside to hide it....

She grinned,just thinking of the despicable plan in her thought of getting what she wants ...

" This time I will get what I want"...

The staff were all busy working hard,some were on calls,some were tapping away on there laptops,none was idle.

Chris walked into the company,his hands in his pocket as his PA held his briefcase and a brown folder in his hand.

" Who's that,he looks handsome"

" Wow look at his hair"

"I love his skin"

Chris heard the mumurings which had gotten louder and turn to see Antonio walking in with a bag pack strap to his back, another guy follow closely behind whom Chris didn't know.

" Why are you coming to your brother's company eh?

Erebus whispered to his hearing,but he didn't reply.

"..."

" If it wasn't for mom,do you think I would be here to check on that dimwit"

Antonio sarcastic remarks left Erebus speechless,they soon walked standing in front of Chris who smiled at them but received blank looks.

"Hi Antonio long time no see"

Chris greeted but received a cold look,he smile awkwardly turning to look at Erebus.

" Hi am Chris and you".

" Am Erebus"he replied politely his tone distant making Chris lips twitch.

" Okay let's go in"

Chris offered but Antonio just scoffed standing where he was." I don't think you're an employee here so buzz off".

The atmosphere turned tense as both eyed each other, just as Erebus wanted to say something, the door to the office opened revealing a female worker whose clothes was disheveled as she rush out of the place.

Antonio scoffed before walking in with huge strides, Erebus following behind him,Chris was starting to have a headache.

" Close the door behind you"Chris order his PA who nodded.

" Wow look who finally comes to visit "

Jared was still speaking when Antonio quicken his step landing a punch to his face taking him off guard.

" Geez, Antonio are you crazy what's your problem man?.

" Problem you opened that Lewd mouth to call my name,your nothing but an embarrassment".

" I won't have you talk to me like that am still your elder brother "

Jared said with a frown hold his aching jaw.

" Brother my foot,just take a look at yourself,in what way do you represent a brotherly image ".

Chris sighed seeing this before finding a seat watching the two brothers exchanging words.

" You came to my office,right here fo throw a punch at me are you sick or what".

Antonio stared coldly at him with his green eyes which he inherited from his father's trait while Jared had black ones like there mother's.

" You disgust me that's while and those two pregnant duck in that house better find how to get rid of them".

" What do you mean "

Jared furrow his brows deeper.

" I mean those two pregnant women if yours , which had nut loose in there brains are currently standing outside the gate and not only that but fighting too, better go clean up your mess".

Antonio turned hi back but hault In his footsteps throwing him a sentence.

" Mom just went on a vacation,but you couldn't keep your cucumber in your pants and have to get two lady's pregnant at the same time".

Jared face burned with shame and Chris watched with amusement, Erebus speechless at his friends words walked after him throwing Jared a pitful look before going out.

Jared hit his hand on the table startling Chris who eyes him in annoyance.

" Damn those two b*tches"

Jared curses under his breath.

" You should really listen to your brother you know,I think he's right"..

" Shut up"Jared growl in annoyance before standing up and grabbing his coat,and car keys obviously to go check out the situation.

Chris mumbles a curse before standing up to go after him leaving instructions for his PA to leave and meet him back in the company leaving him confused.

After Melissa banishment,Talia was more than glad as she got rid of a persistent fly who could catch the eyes of prince Derek and his heart.

" He's mine alone "

Talia had a happy smile on her face and was swimming towards the market place when she got cornered by Sofia and Gaya who had a blank look on there faces.

" Hi, Gaya, Sofia".

She greeted to receive a chuckle from Gaya.

" Hello princess or should we say Queen"

Sofia teased Talia who blushed before removing two wrapped leaves from the pouch hanging beside her waist.

" Your payment thanks for your help'.

Gaya and Sofia eyes lit up seeing it,and they collected it, exchanging glances before nodding at Talia and swimming away.

" Idiots,am getting rid of them once am queen"

Talia thought a scrowl on her face as she had a bitter taste in hr mouth just thinking of the money wrapped in the leaf she gave to the two mer-girls.

Sofua was having a walk around the seashore,it was night and everyone was already leaving for there various homes,but she still wanted to enjoy the breeze seeping through her skin,and blowing her hair gently giving a cool feeling.

She got to a huge stone and walked behind it resting her back on it to catch her breath,she opened the water bottle in her hand taking a mouthful and heaving a sign of relief.

"Ahhhhhh....."Sofia screamed but quickly covered her mouth in horror and shock staring at the person in front of her.

" Was that a mermaid?.....

Melissa laid unconscious on the sea shore,as the water bought her up,her tails slowly vanishing to become legs,she was half naked laying on the golden sand with different marks marring her skin.

Sofia gasped in disbelief moving closer to check if she was still breathing,and notice a faint pulse,she stood up to leave but her heart felt for the injured creature.

" I hope am not making a mistake "

Sofia mumbled before turning to look at Melissa,she removed her long coat wrapping it around the injured and unconscious girl, fishing out her phone to give a call to the nearby bodyguards and drivers who came to help her in getting Melissa inside the car.

"Madam should we go to the hospital".

" No take us to the mansion"

Sofia ordered,and saw the driver taking the route to the mansion.

She looked down at the girl who face was pale and filled with injuries ,her skin was too cold,and she wondered what happened to her.

Sofia couldn't take her to the hospital because she wasn't sure exactly of what she was dealing with"...
