Chapter 2:Palace Prison

Melissa was taken captive to the palace prison and placed into one of the cell room,she didn't struggle knowing it was useless.

She still refuse to believe the fact that Talia stood her up ..but for what?..she knew not..

"What's going on exactly!!.. Melissa thought before swimming towards the dark corner of the cell room and sitting on the ground,her back resting on the wall.

" Anyways she's was just a nobody easy to get rid of,she wished Prince Derek was here at least".

She sighed again before succumbing to the darkness falling fast asleep.

The alarm blared loudly as Antonio but It to shut it off,he groaned tiredly before seating up on the bed, resting his head on the bed board...

"So tired...."

He murmur,he opened his eyes slowly squinting it due to the rays of sunlight peeking through his window.

Blinking twice he finally opened his green eyes which stared blankly at his room before his gaze turned to look at the calendar.

" When will mom be back from that vacation of her's anyway?..

"Whatever..."

He lifted the sheets,his feet Patting the floor as he went towards the bathroom to take a shower.

About twenty minutes, Antonio came out of the bathroom wrapped In a black robe,a towel in his hand as he dried his hair...

Antonio opened his wardrobe and stared for three minutes before he sighed and pick out a black shirt and trouser.

" I need more clothes, can't believe I forgot most of them in Australia"He hissed wearing his cloth before putting on his eyes glass,his bag strap on,his phone In his hand as he came out of the room locking the door.

"...."

He came face to face with Jared and his already bad mood turned worst.

" Hiss"..

Antonio didn't even give him a response when he passed by Jared who reeked of alcohol.

"Yoh! can't you greet or are you blind"Jared said in a drunken tone making Antonio eyes twitched violently with annoyance .

" I don't speak with drunken fools"

He spatted coldly before leaving the mansion ignoring the maids and guards.

" Tisk, he's still as grumpy as ever.."Jared chuckled lightly before staggering towards his room.

Antonio walked out of the house towards the carpark, before moving to the corner ignoring the guards who greeted him.

"...."

" Young master Antonio seems angry"

" Better not get on his bad side"

The guards whispering soon hushed when they heard the sound of bike roaring and Antonio speedily driving out of the mansion.

The guards "..."

~Cafeteria ~

A handsome young man was slowly sipping his tea as he was the center of attention.

The girls gush seeing him and the surrounding men have him envious looks,but who cares!

" Mr Derek"A waitress called out softly to Derek who look up to see her blushing.

He smiled politely but her reaction made him speechless.

"What was this silly human thinking,why was she blushing".

Derek shook his head helplessly in his mind.

" Ehmm what would you like to order sir"

"The usuals,but add two egg toast please "..

" Okay sir"the waitress squeak walking away to get his order.

" Humans and there petty thoughts"Derek lips twitched before he look out the window.

" He missed home,he missed her too his cute little angel"Derek smile just thinking about seeing her beautiful face again.

" Wait for me my angle,I will be back soon"he vowed...

" Talia what's this am hearing about Melissa getting captured " Lydia voiced out in concern making her frown.

" And what business of her's does it has to do with us"

Talia cold response made Lydia looked at her daughter in disbelief.

" Talia what's is the meaning of the nonsense your spouting, isn't she your friend".

" She's not my friend,I can I be friends with an outcast".

PAH...

Lydia slapped Talia hard on the face and she stared at her mother in disbelief.

" Mom did you just slap me because of that b*tch"

" Shut your mouth,you insolent fool,you know nothing"

"I..."

" Just pray to the gods that you had nothing to do with whatever is going on with her,else I will make you regret it",Lydia threatened slowly making Talia shivered as she looked away guilty.

Lydia eyed her once more before swimming out of the house.

Talia wipe away the tears which had turned to pearl crushing it in her palm,her gaze filled with hate.

" Isn't it just staying in the prison for a while,I will make sure she never set foot in this coast ever again"

With heavy breathing and chest heaving up and down,Talia swam to her own seashell to sleep.

Melissa had woken up and staring at the cell wall blankly when she sighted two merman's guards sharing food for the prisoner's.

They stopped in front of her cell, looking at her with distain.

" Traitors like her should be executed".

" More like it,heard the judgement will be passed down tomorrow ".

Melissa heard this and frozed,her blood turning cold.

" Ex...did she just heard execution".she shivered with fear.

"Nah!...what do you expect from an outcast"the guards jeered swimming away from her cell not passing her any food.
