Title: Trapped with the Mafia Boss
Episode 2: The Cage
Han Soo-ah struggled against the guard’s grip, but it was useless. The man was built like a wall, dragging her through the dimly lit hallway as if she weighed nothing.
“Let me go!” she hissed, trying to plant her feet on the marble floor, but the guard didn’t even flinch.
Ji-hoon’s voice echoed in her head.
“You belong to me now.”
Her stomach twisted in fear. She had to get out of here.
The guard stopped in front of a massive wooden door, pushing it open before shoving her inside. Soo-ah stumbled, catching herself before she fell.
The door slammed shut behind her.
She spun around and pounded on it. “Hey! You can’t just lock me in here!”
No response.
Her chest rose and fell rapidly as she turned back to look at the room.
It was nothing like she expected.
The room was huge—bigger than her entire apartment. A king-sized bed sat against the wall, covered in silky white sheets. A massive chandelier hung from the ceiling, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city skyline.
It looked more like a luxury hotel suite than a prison.
But that’s what it was. A cage.
She rushed to the windows, only to find them locked. The glass was thick—probably unbreakable.
Her hands balled into fists. I have to find a way out.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Before she could react, it swung open, and a woman in a black uniform stepped inside. She looked to be in her late forties, her expression unreadable.
“I’m Mrs. Park,” the woman said in a firm tone. “I’ll be taking care of you while you stay here.”
Soo-ah’s brows furrowed. “Taking care of me?”
Mrs. Park gestured to a tray in her hands. “You haven’t eaten. I brought you dinner.”
Soo-ah eyed the tray—steaming rice, grilled meat, and soup. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she hadn’t eaten all day.
But she wasn’t stupid.
“Did he send you?” she asked, arms crossed.
Mrs. Park hesitated before nodding.
Soo-ah scoffed. “Then take it back. I don’t want anything from him.”
Mrs. Park sighed. “You’ll only make things harder for yourself.” She placed the tray on a small table. “Eat. Or don’t. The choice is yours.”
With that, she turned and left, locking the door behind her.
Soo-ah stared at the food, her pride warring with her hunger.
She didn’t want to accept anything from Ji-hoon. But if she didn’t eat, she’d be too weak to think of an escape plan.
With a frustrated sigh, she grabbed the chopsticks and started eating.
She would eat. She would regain her strength.
And then she would get out of here.

Meanwhile, in the dimly lit study downstairs, Lee Ji-hoon swirled the whiskey in his glass, staring at the security feed on his laptop.
Soo-ah’s image filled the screen—her stubborn expression, the way she hesitated before eating.
He smirked. Fiery little thing.
He leaned back in his chair, taking a sip of his drink.
She could fight all she wanted.
But she wasn’t going anywhere.
She was his.
