1. Meeting Him

I was never a good child for my parents. They always had problems with me. I'm the second daughter of my parents. They always compare me with my elder sister. I loved her a lot but because of my parents I hate her now. I am a burden to them, is what they say me – a Burden. But I don't care anymore.

"Cassandra get up you have school. See your sister, she already finished her breakfast. Why are you always like this? Can you go to school on time ever!!?" My mom shouted outside my door. And my day begins as usual with my mom shouting at me before I get up. This is how my morning starts always.

"If you won't get up now I am gone pour cold water on your little ugly face!!" She knows I don't like cold water on my face early in morning as it makes it dry.

"No no no, I am up already!" I told getting up from my bed but the clumsy me got tangled with my blanket and I fell down with my face kissing the floor.

"Ouch!" I cried.

"Are you Dead or alive?" She emphasized dead and told me coldly.

How can someone die by just falling from a bed? Use some common sense mom.

"No I am okay just slightly sprained my ankle."

"Okay now get up and get ready in 15 minutes otherwise go walking to school."

I quickly got up and took the fastest shower ever and got ready in 10 min with 5 min to spare.

I wore my black skinny jeans and a black T-Shirt on which 'Monday Sucks' was written and wore my ankle length black converse. I made a messy bun and applied a dash of mascarra and lip gloss and I was ready to go.

I went downstairs to see my sister fully dressed to go for an interview, my dad was not there I guess he went for a jog. My mom was making coffee for herself.

"Good morning" I said cheerfully.

But in return I just got sound of coffee maker.

I took a toast from my sister's plate and went to my room to take my bag.

My mom was waiting for me in her car. She drops me at school only on Mondays and other days I would go with my friends or alone. Because Monday is after effect of weekend and it makes really hard to wake up early, and walk to school.

We reached my school on time. As usual my friends were waiting for me near the gate but my mom dropped me little away from them. She doesn't like my friend circle, she thinks what I am now is all because of them. She tells me to break my friendship with them but how can you break your childhood friendship? That's impossible for me.

After my mom went I walked to my friends.

"Sorry! I made you guys wait up again. You'll shouldn't wait for me. You guys know me, I am always late on Monday then why do you wait for me?"I ask them as we walked towards the school's main gate.

"Because it is our habit to wait for our late princess ", Mike said putting his hand on my shoulder.

He is my best friend. I had first met him in 4th grade. He is like my big brother. He protects me from everyone like a brother do.

"Hey I am not a late princess I am just a lazy girl who doesn't like to wake up early," I said to him smacking his head.

"Okay okay, boxer stop hitting me," he said putting his hands in front as surrendering with a smirk on his face

"Guys will you hurry we are going to be late" Tessa my girl best friend said to us as we entered our school hallway which was as usual crowded.

We all have same homeroom so we all go together. But not like sane people; we all race to the homeroom and whoever comes last has to pay for everyone's lunch.

So we all stand in a horizontal line and starts the counting.

"1.....2......3.....GO!!"

As we all started running, I collided with a wall in front of me and I was on the floor and for the second time today I was kissing the floor but this time with my butt.

Woah! Wait a sec 'a wall'? Who makes a wall at the middle of a freaking hall?!

Then I heard laughter of everyone present in the hall. Wow what an embarrassment !

As I look up, I was met with a beautiful pair of eye, I have ever seen in my whole life.Blue eyes with a ting of green and brown color.

"I....am.... really.... sorry." The owner of the beautiful eyes said between his laugh.

I came out of my daydreaming and snapped "SEE WHERE YOU ARE GOING!" as I pushed him hard, he didn't fall but he stumbled a little.

The owner of the beautiful eyes was so stunned by my  action that he didn't say anything as I left, shooting daggers at everyone. I could feel a hole burning behind my head, so I turned around to see him staring at me with a curious look.

I rolled my eyes and went to the homeroom with my friends.

Well, what a great start of a week.
