[Scene: Zavier’s Penthouse – A Cold Goodbye]
Elia sat on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, her hands still trembling from the night before. She kept replaying it—the fear, the ropes cutting into her wrists, the moment Zavier arrived.
And the way he held her after.
But now?
He hadn’t spoken a word to her since they got back.
Zavier stood near the window, his back to her, arms crossed. His jaw was clenched so tight it looked like it might crack
"You should leave, Elia."
The words hit her like ice.
She blinked. "What?"
Zavier turned, his expression unreadable. "I’ll have my men take you home. You don’t belong here."
Elia sat up straighter. "Zavier, I was just kidnapped—because of you. And now you're acting like I don’t exist?"
His blue eyes darkened. "That’s exactly why you need to go."
She stared at him, trying to understand. "So you saved me just to push me away?"
Zavier exhaled sharply. He didn’t want to do this. But he had to.
She wasn’t safe with him. She never would be.
"I should’ve never let you into my world," he muttered, stepping closer. "You were a mistake."
Elia flinched. A mistake?
Her heart twisted, but she refused to back down. "You don’t mean that."
Zavier’s hands curled into fists. "I do."
Elia stood, her eyes burning. "Then look me in the eyes and say it."
For a second, just a second, something flickered in his gaze—regret. Longing. Pain.
But then he forced himself to be cold again.
"I don’t care about you, Elia." His voice was sharp. "Go home."
Elia swallowed the lump in her throat.
Fine. If this was the game he wanted to play.
She lifted her chin. "You can push me away all you want, Zavier. But I’m not stupid. I know what I saw in your eyes last night."
She grabbed her coat and walked to the door. But before leaving, she turned back one last time.
"You saved me. Not because I was a mistake."
A pause. A breath.
"But because I’m the only thing that isn’t."
Then she was gone.
And Zavier?
He felt the emptiness before the door even closed.
[Scene: A Dark Meeting – The Threat Isn’t Over]
Meanwhile, in a shadowy warehouse, a man sat at a desk, flipping a silver knife between his fingers. His expression was unreadable as he watched the footage of Elia’s kidnapping.
A smirk played on his lips.
"So, she matters to him," he mused. "Interesting."
A figure in the shadows shifted. "Khan killed our men for her. He won’t let this go."
The man chuckled. "Good. Then let’s make things more... fun."
He lifted the knife—and slammed it into the table.
"Bring me Elia Arif ."
