[Scene: Elia’s Apartment – A Mind Full of Questions]
Elia sat on her bed, staring at the white card Zavier had given her.
"Next time, don’t ignore warnings."
Her mind was spinning. Who sent that first note? Why was she being dragged into something she had nothing to do with?
And Zavier—why did he keep showing up?
A knock on her door startled her. She quickly shoved the card into her drawer before opening it. Ava stood there, arms crossed.
Ava: "Okay, spill. You’ve been acting weird all day."
Elia hesitated, but she couldn’t keep this bottled up any longer.
Elia (sighing): "Someone left me a warning yesterday. Then today, some guy tried to threaten me. And Zavier… he was there again."
Ava’s eyes widened.
Ava: "Wait—again? Okay, this guy is officially sketchy. Are you sure he’s not trouble?"
Elia hesitated. That was the problem. Zavier was trouble. She knew it.
Elia: "I don’t know. He saved me, Ava. Twice. But he won’t tell me why."
Ava frowned.
Ava: "Maybe you should stay away from him."
Elia nodded, but deep down, she knew it wasn’t that simple.
Because despite the danger, she wanted answers.
[Scene: Zavier’s Safehouse – A Past That Won’t Let Go]
Zavier leaned against the balcony railing, staring at the city lights below. His mind wasn’t on business tonight.
It was on her.
Elia.
She had no idea what she was stepping into. No idea who he really was.
A deep voice pulled him from his thoughts.
Idris (Zavier’s right-hand man): "You’re distracted."
Zavier exhaled.
Zavier: "She’s a problem."
Idris raised an eyebrow.
Idris: "Then eliminate the problem."
Zavier’s jaw tightened.
Zavier: "She’s not a threat."
Idris: "Not yet. But the people watching her? They think she is."
Zavier knew that. The moment Elia had stepped into that alley, she had unknowingly stepped onto someone’s radar.
And now, she was caught in the crossfire.
Zavier (low voice): "Find out who sent the warning."
Idris nodded.
Idris: "And the girl?"
Zavier’s grip on the railing tightened.
Zavier: "She stays out of this."
But deep down, he knew it wouldn’t be that easy.
Because Elia wasn’t the kind of girl to walk away from unanswered questions.
And he wasn’t the kind of man to let anyone touch what was his.
[Scene: The Art Studio – A Dangerous Invitation]
The next day, Elia tried to focus on her work, but her mind was elsewhere.
She hadn’t seen Zavier since last night, and part of her felt relieved. The other part? Curious.
Then, a deep voice interrupted her thoughts.
Zavier: "We need to talk."
Elia jumped, nearly knocking over her paintbrush. She turned to find him standing in the doorway of the empty studio.
Elia (crossing her arms): "You always show up like a ghost?"
Zavier smirked.
Zavier: "Only when necessary."
Elia sighed.
Elia: "Let me guess—you’re here to tell me to ‘stay away’ again?"
Zavier stepped closer, his voice low.
Zavier: "No. I’m here to offer you a choice."
Elia frowned.
Zavier: "You want answers? Then come with me tonight."
Her heart skipped a beat.
Elia: "Come where?"
Zavier: "My world."
She hesitated. This was a bad idea. A very bad idea.
But the truth?
She wanted to know.
Elia (softly): "Fine. But if I regret this, I’m blaming you."
Zavier’s lips curved into a smirk.
Zavier: "You already do."
