Episode Summary: Title: "The First Battle"
The scene opens with Jake and Alex training in the WWE Performance Center. The camera shows Jake perfecting his high-flying moves while Alex focuses on strength training. As Jake practices his springboard kicks on the ropes, his trainer, a grizzled veteran named "Tornado" Tom, watches from the sidelines, shaking his head.
Trainer (Tornado Tom):
Tornado, with a slight grin: "You think you're ready, kid? Flying high is good, but you need to keep your feet on the ground sometimes. You're not just here to do tricks. You want to survive this business? You gotta be able to take a hit."
Jake rolls his eyes, stepping down from the ropes.
Jake (confidently):
"I don't just want to survive, Tom. I want to be a star. And high-flying is what gets me there. Watch this."
Jake runs to the ropes, bounces off them, and executes a perfect springboard kick, his "Falcon's Flight" finisher. Alex claps from the other side of the room.
Alex (smiling):
"That's the stuff, man. You're gonna break some necks with that move."
But Tornado Tom isn't impressed.
Tornado Tom (sternly):
"That’s all fine and dandy, but you're facing me tonight in the ring. Let's see if you can take a real hit."
Jake’s cocky grin fades slightly. He doesn’t expect this challenge, but it sparks a fire within him.
Jake (smirking):
"Bring it on, old man. You won’t be able to keep up."
The Match:
The bell rings, and the match begins.
Tornado Tom immediately charges at Jake with a heavy clothesline, but Jake ducks, using his speed to avoid the blow. He bounces off the ropes and delivers a Tornado DDT—his signature move—taking Tom down hard. The crowd in the Performance Center cheers.
Alex (from the sideline):
"That’s what I’m talking about, Jake! Keep that momentum!"
But Tornado Tom rolls out of the ring, not phased. He gets back in and catches Jake with a shoulder block, knocking him to the mat.
Tornado Tom (gritting his teeth):
"You think you're fast, but you gotta learn to deal with pain, kid!"
Tom grabs Jake and whips him into the corner, charging in for a devastating splash. Jake stumbles out, winded, and Tom lifts him for a suplex. But Jake wiggles free, landing on his feet, showing off his agility.
Jake then runs to the ropes, trying for his springboard kick. He goes for it, but Tom counters, catching Jake mid-air and slamming him to the mat with a spinebuster.
Tornado Tom (mockingly):
"Not bad for a little bird, but you ain’t flying yet."
Jake shakes off the impact, struggling to get to his feet. Alex watches closely, biting his lip in frustration.
Alex (muttering):
"Come on, Jake. You got this."
Jake slowly rises and meets Tornado Tom head-on. They exchange punches, with Jake using his speed to dodge and strike. Finally, with the crowd on their feet, Jake runs to the ropes one more time, and this time, he nails it—his springboard kick hits Tom square in the jaw, sending the trainer crashing to the mat.
Jake (breathing heavily):
"Falcon’s Flight, baby!"
The referee counts to three, and Jake’s music blares through the arena.
Referee (raising Jake's hand):
"Your winner—Jake 'The Falcon' Rivers!"
Jake (standing over Tom, trash-talking):
"Told you I could fly. I’m just getting started, old man."
Tornado Tom (grinning despite the loss):
"Not bad, kid. You’ve got some heart. But next time, don’t think it’s gonna be that easy. The real challenges are ahead."
Backstage:
Jake and Alex walk backstage, with Alex giving him a playful shove.
Alex (teasing):
"Nice flying, man. But you're gonna have to work on that trash talk. You don’t want to piss off the wrong people."
Jake (laughing):
"Come on, I’ve gotta get in their heads. Besides, I’ve got this in the bag. I’ll be WWE Champion before I turn 21."
Alex (shaking his head):
"You’ve got the moves, but don’t forget—this business isn’t just about being flashy. You’ve gotta earn respect."
Jake (grinning):
"I’ll earn respect by being the best high-flyer this company has ever seen. Wait for it."
As the camera fades to black, Jake looks determined, ready to prove himself to the world.
