Jojo's pov

We rush here in the school field after our valley ball match . We were 50 minutes late because of our match but since we win the match I'm happy . Right now, The crowd stand up, cheering as Daniel (one of Jasai's classmate ) runs with the ball in front of him . They start to get louder and louder with every step he takes. My hands are freezing . it feels like I'm the one playing football . As Daniel kicks the ball, aiming for the goal , one of their teammates run forward but the opponent team kick the ball away .

Everyone sits back down, letting out cheers of dissatisfaction . I put my hands towards No 8

( Jessai written on his jersey ) as he shakes his head . " So his name is Jessai" I murmured to myself .

Jessai head towards the side , waiting for the ball from corner , two of his teammates follow him but they stay further away from each other - protecting each side so that they might have a chance of capturing the ball .

" Lawrence seems to be enjoying this as much as his teammates " . The speaker starts to speak laughing as he keep on eyeing the footballer ".

Jessai has a five o'clock shadow . He looks directly at Andy who's giving him signs . As soon as he nods , the ball is now flying on the thin air waiting to be caught . Jessai teammates separate from one another and they take position , covering from every corner .

My eyes widen as soon as Andy kicks the ball towards Jessai's direction . Jessai jogs faster to the ball and once he gets it , he starts to turn around when the opponent team tries to kick it away . Jessai turns around and start aiming for the goal . From ajar , there's one of Jessai's teammates jogging on the sides , eyeing Alex as a Sign that he's free .

" Jessai kicks the ball and went straight to Daniel . Running ahead towards the other side , giving a sign to Bob " . I can see the crowd standing up , Jumping up and down as they cheer loudly . " Daniel gives Jessai an inner signed of instep kick -" The crowd went silent and everyone starts to hold their breaths .

The ball slides to the middle and Jessai takes the chance to run forward . As soon as he did , one man from the opponent team rushes . Jessai seem to notice that he's close enough - with Andy standing on the other side - so he push kick the ball .

I seem to get caught in the moment as I stand up , not quite satisfied myself inside the red house " and he Goal " .

Jessai eyes wide as he realised he just scored a goal . Andy run toward him before giving him a bone crushing hug . The rest of the team run pursuit after .

" That was an excellent goal " Everyone still cheering for the last goal which determines the winer . At first they failed they manage to do it afterwards. That's is indeed , the end of our Annual sports days . Green wins the game with 2 - 1.

I furrow my eyebrows and walk to the side , seeing Jessai sitting under the tree out side the field . He is breathing heavily , looking around . As soon as his eyes landed on me , his lips curve up into a smile and walk towards him and sit down near him . He took the water bottle away from my hand and drink it .

" Thanks for your water " Jessai said grinning widely at me , putting the bottle down .

" you are welcome Jessai . That's was an amazing goal " I said but suprise by his sudden action .

" oh....... so now you know my name!!! Your volleyball shot was amazing too " . he chuckles as he stare at me .

" yeah everybody was cheering up your name so loud that it was difficult to not know . Quite popular for a newcomer " I look into his eyes " I don't expect that you were watching my match ".

" Becoming popular was never on my plan But becoming the best footballer was " his eyes showing the passion he have for football . " I have watched your match but couldn't wait for the end of the match "

" Sometimes we unexpectedly gain so many things , look at me I sucks as a monitor " I say looking blankly at the field . " Let me introduce myself formally... I'm Jojo Johansson " I said with my arms out in front of him for handshake .

" Jessai Williams " he Shake my hand and smile .

" Jojo ......the captain is looking for you " Lucy said from afar .

" I gotta go " I got up and walk hurriedly

without waiting for his response .

I got the best sports girl Award and also lost the bet I make with Lucy . Jessai got the best baller of the year and Peter ( one of our senior) got the award of the best sports boy Award , with that our Annual Sports come to an end .
