Episode 5

After a relaxing bath with all the trimmings, I go to the closet to choose my outfit for the night.

Among the options I liked best, I chose a long skirt with a slit on the leg and a gray blouse with black glitter detail on the sleeve.

I do my makeup and decide to leave my hair down.

I look at myself in the mirror and I'm satisfied with the result.

I go downstairs and my mother admires me.

Lina: You look beautiful, daughter.

As beautiful as you are, find yourself a boyfriend.

Valentina: For God's sake, Mom.

I'm just going to have fun.

Diana said she's meeting her supposed crush, and he's going with a friend or something like that.

Lina: I feel like I'll have a son-in-law soon.

Valentina: Keep dreaming.

I say goodbye to my mother and go to my car.

I put the address into the GPS and head to the location, which is very busy when I arrive.

I send a message to my friend letting her know I've arrived, and she tells me to park the car and wait in front of the bar, as she and her friends have already arrived.

I do as she said, park and get out, and go to the spot. As soon as I get there, she comes, all dressed up and smiling.

Valentina: You look beautiful, friend.

We head to a table in the VIP area of the bar.

And these are Raul and Henry's friend.

And suddenly a romantic song plays, and she turns to me, smiling. When she notices it's me, she becomes serious. Even though I'm afraid of a "no," I ask her to dance.

She ends up accepting because her friend encouraged her.

And when our hands touch, I press our bodies together and allow myself to feel her perfume, closing my eyes.

Valentina: Easy there, big guy.

Henry: I don't understand.

Valentina: Your little friend is excited.

She points to my crotch, and I get flustered.

Henry: I'm sorry.

I let her go and go to the bathroom and wash my face.

I just smelled her scent and felt the warmth of her body for a moment, and I already got like this.

I need to relieve myself, damn it.

I return to the table, and both were already there drinking and talking, when suddenly Karina appears.

Both say they don't mind.

The conversation flows. I notice Valentina is on her phone, and it bothers me.

Then a well-dressed man and woman appear.

Valentina: Guys, this is my brother Vinicius, and this is his wife Beatriz.

You already know Diana, so these are Raul, Henry, and Karina.

Vinicius: Pleasure to meet you all in person, I've read a lot about your family.

Henry: That's cool, today we're just having fun.

Vinicius: That's right.

I think about his question. Could my mother be right?

I have to give myself more opportunities and open my heart.

They say love starts from friendship.

We continue dancing, and he gets closer and kisses me. I don't feel anything with this kiss.

Then suddenly I'm pulled from his arms.

When I see it's Henry, he stares at me, and I stare back. He lifts me into his arms and carries me outside.

Henry: Yes, completely crazy.

He kicks the car and yells.

I can't understand what happened. I realize he's drunk and call Diana, who soon appears with the group. His cousin puts him in the car and takes him away.

Diana: What the hell was that?

Valentina: I don't understand.

Beatriz: I suppose he got jealous of you, Val.

Valentina: For God's sake, sister-in-law, not that.

The party's over, let's go home.

Each one gets their car and heads to their homes.

When I arrive, I go to the kitchen, eat something, then go to my room, take a shower, and go to bed.

I think about the dance I had with Henry and remember his member showing through his pants.

I scold myself for thinking about that.

I'd better go to sleep.

NOTE: Valentina's mother's name is Rosalina, but I preferred to shorten it, so from the other chapters on, it will be either Rosa or Lina.
