Morning Chaos

Taehyung woke up to warmth.

A heavy arm draped over his waist, a solid chest pressed against his back.

His heart nearly stopped.

Jungguk.

Taehyung froze. The younger Jeon was wrapped around him like a damn koala.

And worst of all—he looked peaceful.

As if Taehyung belonged there.

He did not.

Taehyung gritted his teeth and tried to wiggle free.

Big mistake.

Jungguk tightened his grip, mumbling in his sleep. “Soft…”

Oh, hell no.

Taehyung shoved him off.

Jungguk yelped, landing on the floor with a loud thud.

Jae-hyun, who had been reading, glanced over with a raised eyebrow. “Serves you right.”

Jungguk groaned. “Hyung, he’s so mean to me.”

Jungkook, sipping coffee, smirked. “You deserved it.”

Taehyung glared at all of them. “None of you were supposed to be in my room.”

Jungkook tilted his head. “But you lost the game.”

Jae-hyun added, smugly, “Actions have consequences.”

Taehyung hated them.

But more than that—he hated that he was starting to tolerate them.

And that was dangerous.

Because the last time he let people in—they died.

He wasn’t going to let that happen again.

The First Attack

A loud bang echoed through the bunker.

Taehyung immediately grabbed his knife.

Jungkook was already moving.

Jae-hyun’s eyes darkened as he stood.

Jungguk for once was serious " that wasn't a random noice"

Taehyung's stomach twisted

It was starting

The apocalypse wasn't supposed to begin this early

Jungkook grabbed taehyung's wrist "stay behind me"

Taehyung yanked away "I can handle myself"

Jae-hyuns gaze sharpened " you shouldn't even know how to handle yourself "

Taehyung turned away avoiding their stares "I watch movies"

Jungguk snorted " sure, because movies teach you how to move like a trained fighter"

jungkook's expression darkened

Taehyung's chest tightened

he had to be more careful

But right now, there was something more important than their suspicion

The apocalypse had began

And taehyung was ready for war

They reached the entrance of the bunker , weapon drawn

Three figures stood outside

Not zombies, people

Armed

One of them stepped forward , a scar running down his cheek "nice place you got here"

Jungkook's jaw tightened " not for sale"

The man smirked " that's not how this works"

Jae-hyuns voice was calm but cold "you're in our territory now. Walk away"

The man laughed "or what"

jungguk grinned " or we kill you"

The air turned heavy

Taehyung's grip on his knife tightened

The man's smirk faltered

but before he could react

Jungkook moved-

Fast

a gunshot rang out

The man collapsed

his two companions panicked

But before they could run

Taehyung was already on them

A flash of His knife, a sharp scream

And then silence --

The jeon stared

Not at the bodies

At taehyung

Jae-hyuns finger tightened around his book " that was... efficient"

jungguk whistled " damn baby I think I just fell in love"

Jungkook didn't speak

but his dark eyes burned Into taehyung

Taehyung swallowed

He had just made a mistake

A Big Mistake

Because now--they knew

and they wouldn't let him go

Not ever
