It had been a few hours since Mysty had given birth to her 2nd girl.

She was in her hospital bed, looking into her big, beautiful eyes. One green with a black pupil, the other swapped like all Jester monsters.

"Heh, you kinda look like my momma."

Her little girl looked up at her smiling, emphasizing her poker themed Spade and Club markings on her cheeks.

"Cute, my sweet Shade."

Tuesday, April 2nd, 2002.

Dazzle was sitting in front of the TV, watching a rocker chick performing

"That's gonna be me some day.

Then the door opens, and Mysty squeezes her plump body through, holding her newborn.

Dazzle gets up.

"Mama, you're home!"

the excited 5-year-old says

Mysty sits on the couch, causing to creak as if begging her 470 pound ass to get off.

"Come meet your little sister Dazzle."

Dazzle runs over and looks at the baby

"I love her already! What's her name?"

Mysty looks at the little baby and smiles

"Shade"

Tuesday, April 1st, 2003

Dazzle was sitting in front of Shade playing with her little hands

"Do you know what today is, Shade?"

Shade just chews on her own hair

"Aauubba"

Dazzle giggles

"It's your first birthday! You're gonna have some of mommy's cake. "

Mysty comes into the living room and picks Shade up

"Come blow out your candle, sweetheart."

Shade smiles as her mom caries her into the kitchen and sets her in a highchair.

Mysty places a small cake that says

"Happy 1st birthday, Shade!"

She places the candle on and then lights it.

Shade looks in awe at the flame.

She has never seen fire before, but it awakens something in her.

"Blow on it."

Shade listens to her mom and blows.

Slightly disappointed that the flame is gone.

As Mysty is cutting the small cake, she thinks to herself

"If only her Daddy was alive to see her."

The three eat the cake up, unsurprisingly. Mysty's fatass got the biggest piece.

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006.

Shade peaked into her mom's room and saw her getting ready for work.

"You shouldn't spy Shade, come in."

Well, Shade has been caught.

She goes into with her.

"You go work?"

The 3-year-old asks, her vocabulary still in development

Mysty smiles at her cute attempt to talk properly

"Yes, sweetheart."

Shade suddenly gets a thought

"what you do?"

Mysty realized she never got around to telling her

"Oh, I actually have a very important job for monsters. I'm a human hunter. I go up and hunt humans to lower their numbers."

Shade's eyes widened in excitement

"WOW!"

Mysty puts her shoes on

"Maybe when you're older, I can start teaching you to fight and kill humans."

Shade jumps up and down and nods her head.

"YES, YES!"

Saturday, May 5th, 2007

At one of the cities, Parks Mysty took 5 year old Shade

Shade runs over to the swings as Mysty sits down to keep an eye on her.

Shade goes to the swings and sees a girl. Skin pale, hair black that fades into white, black teardrop markings under her eyes.

Shade looks at her black eyes with white cat-like pupils

"woah, you're pretty!"

The girl says nothing, only smiles.

Shade remembers something her mom taught her.

"Oh, you're a mime monster! so your kind really can't talk?"

The mime girl shakes her head.

Shade sits by her

"That's ok. I'm Shade."

The girl takes off her white baret hat and hands it to Shade.

Shade looks inside. There's a name.

"Emily. Is that your name?"

Emily nods.

Shade smiles at her.

"That's a cool name. my sister is Dazzle, she's at school now. I'm going to start school next year!"

She says excitedly.

Emily points to herself as if saying.

"Me too."

Shade laughs

"I hope we end up in the same class."

Shade talks to her for a little while.

A girl with white hair, one large eye, and no other visible facial features besides freckles comes up to them.

"Heya, I'm Oculia. wanna run?

Shade looks at the Cyclopiod.

"I'd love too, wanna run too, Emily? it's fun."

Emily smiles and stands up.

Shade and her two new friends run around for a while.

"I need to practice running, I'm gonna hunt humans some day."

Shade says, still full of energy.

Oculia looks at Shade with a wide eye.

"Oh my Cthulhu, that's awesome!"

Emily gestures to herself

"You too, Em? cool."

Shade asks

Soon, it started to get late. Due to being underground, the only way to tell is with the clock tower that dominated the skyline.

"Shade, time to go home, dear."

Shade turns to her new friends

"Aw.. I gotta go. "

Oculia chimes in

"I come here a lot. Maybe we'll see each other again."

Emily gestures to herself as if saying.

"Me too."

Shade smiles.

"Cool, see ya,"

Shade waves as she runs to her mom, who takes her hand.

"You'll get to see your friends again."

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Shade was bouncing in excitement.

Mysty was prepping her outfit for her first day of school.

"I'm so excited to get to go to school like Dazzle!"

Mysty gets her dressed up and starts breakfast.

Dazzle sees Shade dancing

"I'm going to school, I'm going to school."

Dazzle remembers that excitement.

"You're so excited, huh?"

Shade, continuing her excited dance

"Yeah, I am."

Dazzle smiles

"I can tell, just don't let other kids be mean to you. K?"

Shade nods

"I'll be Ok."

after breakfast Mysty loads both kids in the car and drives drown the streets of the main monster city. she's playing Joan Jett on the radio as Dazzle and Shade jam out in the back

"This will be me someday,"

Dazzle says with enthusiasm

Shade smiles.

"I'll listen to all your songs!"

Mysty drops Dazzle off at her elementary school first.

than Shade off at her's.

Mysty holds her hand as she leads her to the door.

"Have a good first day sweetie."

She says before kissing Shade's forehead.

A teacher comes out. She's a female Wendigo, with a humanoid appearance, fluffy brunette hair, and little antlers.

"You must be Mrs Foxlove."

Mysty nods

"Yeah, here to drop Shade off for her first day."

The teacher looks at Shade

"I'm Ms Doe."

Shade goes in with her as Mysty waves.

Mysty goes back to her car

"Oh Daniel, you would've loved to see this."

Inside Shade is lead down a hallway with papers of bad drawings on the walls, the screams of tweaked out little kids are all that's heard.

"You'll love it here, Shade."

Ms Doe reassures Shade.

She takes Shade into a classroom with a few other monster kids.

She recognized two of them.

It's Oculia and Emily.

Shade goes up to them

"Oculia, Emily!"

Oculia and Emily look up at her in excitement.

"Heya Shade"

Emily waves.

Shade sits by them.

the class goes on, and Shade meets two new friends.

A purple haired clown girl named Jinx. her purple hair fades to black the farther down it goes.

And a Jester girl with pink and black split hair named Pixel. she had a pink power logo and black electric bolt marking on her cheeks.

The class goes on.

Shade's Kinda bored.

Oculia wants to run.

Jinx keeps staring at Shade for some reason.

Pixel misses her video games at home.

Emily is sitting quietly. not that she has a choice.

At the end of the day

Mysty pulls up at the school and waits for Shade.

Soon, Shade and her friends walk out

"My mom's here, bye girls."

The girls exchange their goodbyes while Emily silently waves as Shade walks to her mom's car. this was the start of something cool.

Saturday, April 4th, 2015.

Shade was chilling in her dirty room at home, her mom was in the living room off work, and Dazzle was at band practice.

Shade ate some chocolate at she smelled her room. It was quite messy. dirty clothes, wrappers, and her mom's socks strung everywhere.

Shade liked being nasty because it shook social norms and made her feel more chaotic and wild.

Shade got a text.

She opens her phone to see a text from Vex, a guy she had met at school recently. he was as wild and chaotic as her.

"Hey Shade"

Shade replied quickly

"Sup?"

"I was thinking, wanna go out sometime."

Shade thought about it. He was literally perfect for her.

"Sure, but only of its pasta."

Vex agreed on a day.

Afterwards, Shade cane out of her room and up in the living room

"Oh, Heya Shade."

Mysty was crushing the couch.

"Hey, mom."

she sat by Mysty.

"Sooo... Vex just asked me out."

Mysty smirks

"finally, I've shipped you too for a while."

Next Friday night.

Shade and Vex showed up at garlic garden, a well-loved pasta joint.

Vex looks at Shade in awe

She's a black denim vest, a green skirt, and her usual black in green boots.

"Wow Shade, you look great."

Shade smiles at the compliment.

"You too man"

they both go inside and sit down.

Shade orders a Dr pecker to drink.

Vex orders a poopsie cola.

As they wait for their food.

"So Shade, you uh... smell nice."

Shade laughs

"Me? Smell nice? Ha, don't be silly. You know I don't bathe."

Vex shakes his head chuckling

"I noticed."

Shade giggles

"Though thanks for completing my rank, it makes me feel good."

Soon, they get their drinks.

Shade gets Alfredo, Vex gets some random ass Italian food.

and garlic sticks, lots of em.

After they ate They left the restaurant.

Shade stretches

"Thanks for tonight Vex, let's make this a regular thing."

Vex perks up hearing that.

"Yeah, definitely."

Back at home Dazzle was strumming her guitar her dad gave her.

Shade comes in through the front door.

"I'm back!"

Dazzle looks up at her

"Heya sis, how was it?"

Shade plots on the couch.

"It was great, got full."

Dazzle smiles

"Sounds like he really treated you... just wish I could get a boyfriend..."

Shade puts her arm around Dazzle.

"You will eventually."

Wednesday, May 1st, 2019.

Shade was talking to her friends Emily, Oculia, Pixel, Jinx, and her boyfriend Vex.

Until the bitch shows up, Azul. A blue and black colored Jester.

She by Shade.

"Oh, the smelly skank hanging with the ugly bitches!"

the bratty hoe laughs.

Shade's friends Roll their eyes.

"Fuck off, Shade's sexy, er umm... I mean beautiful... I mean uh... she looks fine"

Jinx said suspiciously.

The rest of her friends nod.

Shade is pretty unbothered by being called smelly.

"You bitches are so blind, she's so nasty! Her fashion sense is stupid, her colors are ugly."

Shade ignores Azul's jeers.

"And I bet she'll look like her fat ass mom when she grows up."

Azul says with a laugh.

Shade looks like she's mad but trying to hide it. She does the "I'm gonna beat your ass" nod.

She than takes her boots off and hands them to Vex.

"Hold these babe."

Azul looks confused.

"Why'd you do that?"

"To avoid being charged with battery."

Azul is confused.

"Wha-"

Azul is interrupted by a full force kick to the face.

She lands on her ass.

"Don't talk shit about my mom, she taught me to beat ass!"

"Ooooh..." Shade's friends say in unison, except Emily of course.

"Y-you bitch! You broke my nose! I'll press charges!"

Shade laughs.

"Do that, and I'll do it again, with the boots on."

Azul's eyes widened.

"On second thought... I did insult your mom... I'm sorry"

Shade takes her boots back from Vex and puts them on.

"You better be."

Shade and her friends walk away.

Saturday, May 16th, 2020

Today was the day.

Shade was moving into her own place.

"Make sure to call regularly okay?"

Mysty says as Shade packs her things.

"Of course I will, I'll miss your voice otherwise."

After the last porno, piece of clothing, chocolate, abd Dazzle CD are packed Shade gives her mom a hug.

"Goodbye mom."

"Goodbye Shade."

She loaded her bags into her car and drove off.

Mysty has a bittersweet tear in her eye as she watches her go.

"If only Daniel was here."

Shade drove to the nearest apartment building with a room available.

"Hellsing's Hell"

She unpacks her things and pits out a bedroom, she figured she'd use her

UNDESIGNATED bedrooms for future roommates.

Monday, October 12th, 2020.

Shade had gotten an inquiry about her ad for a roommate.

She got a knock on the door.

She answers to see the 18-year-old make gramclaw with the face of a grizzly bear.

"Need something?"

She asks him.

The gramclaw asks

"Are you Shade?"

Shade nods

"are you Grizzare?"

He nods.

Shade steps aside

"Come on in"

As Grizzare steps in the room, Shade gets a felling this is the start of something
