Tae was tidying up Jungkook’s clothes when he noticed the drawer was open. It wasn’t locked like usual. Earlier in the morning, Jungkook had been in a hurry, which must have been why it was left slightly ajar. Tae took the opportunity to neatly arrange everything inside.

As he opened the drawer, he saw that black T-shirt. The same one Jungkook had supposedly burned in front of him. Beside it, there was a bottle of perfume and a dried jasmine garland. There were also several shell necklaces, earrings, bangles, and a small base light.

Tae picked up the perfume and sniffed it. The scent was familiar. He then looked at the shell necklaces carefully. Suddenly, a memory from fifth grade flashed in his mind.

Taehyung

Jungkook hyung, where’s mine? Hurry up and give it to me!

Jungkook

What do you mean, yours?

Taehyung

I told you to bring me a shell necklace!

Jungkook

Yeah, you did. But I didn’t bring one.

What do you mean, Jungkook? You brought one for Jimin but not for Tae? I gave you money for both of them!

Hyung, don’t scold Kookie. Maybe my baby just forgot.

Jungkook

No, uncle. I didn’t forget. I just didn’t want to bring one for him.

Taehyung

Why ? 😭😭

Jimin

It’s okay, Tae. Don’t cry. He brought a lot for me. I’ll give you one.

Jungkook

Don’t you dare, Jimin! If I see you giving her anything, I’ll throw them all in the trash!

Taehyung

You’re so mean, hyung! 😭😭

Flashback Ends

Tae picked up the shell necklaces. They were beautiful. As he examined them closely, he noticed something—each shell had "T + J" carved into it. Even the base light had a heart with "T + J" on it, surrounded by small shells. It was obvious these were custom-made.

Tae’s heart sank. These must be for Rose. That’s why they were kept so carefully.

But then a thought struck him—if they were for Rose, wouldn’t they have "J + R" instead? But there was no "R" anywhere. The "T" could only stand for Taehyung, and the "J" for Jungkook.

Taehyung

Could these be for me? But if they were, why didn’t he give them to me that day when uncle scolded him?

Then he shook his head.

Taehyung

Tae, you’ve been watching too many drama ! Why would that Hitler bring anything for you? He doesn’t even like seeing you!
