"Ved was supposed to travel out of the country, but his friend Daniel was calling him back due to a major business deal. All his work was put on hold, and the news began to spread everywhere. As a result, Ved's reputation was also being tarnished, and his business was being severely impacted.
After being arrested by the police, Ved became enraged and called his trusted aide, Tiger. He gave Tiger an ultimatum, saying, 'If this matter isn't cleared up within an hour, I don't know what I'll do. And along with that, Mishra and his entire family will be killed by my hands.'"
Tiger instructed the lawyer to resolve the matter as quickly as possible within an hour. Tiger explained everything to the lawyer, who then got to work and immediately headed to the court. He began preparing all the necessary papers, but unfortunately, he too failed this time due to Palak's strong testimony.
This time, the case escalated further, and Ved had to spend three days in jail. For Ved, those three days felt like three years. During this time, he thought of many things.
"On the other hand, in Balmapur village, Ramesh Gupta, the father of Palak's friend Nidhi, strictly forbade Nidhi from associating with Palak. He feared that people would point fingers at Nidhi too. Ramesh ji even started looking for a suitable groom for his daughter, as he didn't want any potential issues to arise during her marriage. He worried that if Nidhi continued to spend time with Palak, she would learn how to argue and answer back.
Garima ji, Palak's mother, didn't let her daughter leave the house at all, knowing that someone would inevitably criticize her. After all, Dadi constantly scolded Palak throughout the day."
"Inside the Mumbai Central Jail, Ved was eerily calm behind the bars. Tiger and the lawyer were hesitant to meet him, as they sensed that his calm demeanor was a sign of the storm that would unleash when he was released. The lawyer was particularly worried, fearing for his life and his job, as he had worked with Ved for many years and knew him well.
Everyone was waiting for Ved's release, and he remained silent, serving out his three-day sentence with intensity. Finally, the day of his release arrived."
"After 3 days, the lawyer stood before the commissioner, holding the court papers. The commissioner, with the key to the cell in hand, unlocked the door and gently asked Ved to come out.
As Ved emerged from the cell, he didn't glance at anyone and began walking ahead. The commissioner attempted to speak with him, but Ved completely ignored him and continued on his way.
Meanwhile, Tiger quickly followed Ved, and as soon as they stepped outside, Tiger opened the car door. Ved got in without looking at him, and Tiger took the front seat. The driver started the car, and within minutes, they arrived at the villa."
EIM Villa,
Tiger got out and opened the door for Ved. Ved stepped out of the car and walked towards the villa, ignoring the greetings from the guards.
Without acknowledging anyone, Ved entered his room and slammed the door shut behind him. At that moment, he had no watch, no sunglasses, and no cell phone - everything had been taken away by the police and handed over to Tiger."
"Ved stood in front of the mirror, scrutinizing himself intensely. His anger was palpable, and his eyes seemed to bore into his own reflection. He gritted his teeth, his jaw clenched in rage, as if he would lash out at anyone who dared to speak to him.
For a long time, he stared at himself, lost in thought. He recalled the humiliation of being fed jail food, and how even the commissioner had arranged for special hotel food to be brought in for him. Yet, Ved had chosen to spend three days in hunger, sitting in the jail cell. He remembered the harsh conditions - sleeping on the cold floor, going without sleep for three days. The memories flooded his mind, fueling his anger."
"After living a life of luxury, Ved was forced to endure those miserable days, all without committing a crime. He had always wielded power over others, sealing one big deal after another. Yet, he had never experienced such humiliation in his life. But now, a simple girl had turned his life upside down.
Ved had been staring at himself in the mirror for a long time, his anger simmering. His nostrils flared, and he could feel his rage boiling over. Unable to contain himself, he grasped the mirror with both hands and, with a loud roar, ripped it off the wall and slammed it to the floor.
The mirror shattered into a thousand pieces, scattering shards of glass all over the room. The dressing table, once neatly organized, was now in disarray, with all its contents scattered everywhere by Ved's furious hands."
"Tiger stood outside the door, hearing the muffled sounds of destruction coming from within. However, he didn't dare enter, knowing that his boss was in a rage and would likely take out his anger on anyone who approached him. It was better to let him calm down on his own.
Ved continued to vent his anger by smashing things, until he finally exhausted himself. He then headed to the bathroom, stripped off his clothes, and stepped under the shower. The cold water seemed to wash away his anguish, and his anger slowly began to subside.
Ved stood under the shower for at least an hour, until his anger had completely dissipated. He then emerged from the bathroom, his room now in shambles."
"Ved entered the wardrobe, changed into lighter clothes, and stepped out of the room, heading towards the study room. As soon as he left, Tiger instructed the servant to clean up the room.
A little while later, Tiger approached Ved and asked if he was ready for lunch. However, Ved declined the offer.
Meanwhile, in Balmapur village, when Tapasvi ji and Palak learned about Ved's release, they were deeply disturbed. They even visited the police station and filed another complaint against him."
"The police officer explained to Tapasvi ji, 'Look, Mishra ji, your daughter was kidnapped, but there's no evidence against Ved Lohia. At the time of the kidnapping, he was busy with work, and we have CCTV footage to prove it. Moreover, mobile call records didn't reveal anything suspicious. That's why the court ordered his release. We can't do anything about it.'
Tapasvi ji grew angry and retorted, 'If a thief commits a crime, will he announce it to everyone? He cleverly orchestrated my daughter's kidnapping through his henchmen. He didn't do it himself, but he's equally guilty.'"
"Tapasvi ji's repeated visits to the police station, coupled with his accusations against the police, had begun to frustrate everyone. One of the police officers, losing his patience, shouted at him, 'Look, stop wasting our time by coming here again and again. Otherwise, we'll have to take action against you!'
As soon as Palak saw her father arguing with the police, she quickly grabbed his hand and gently said, 'Papa, let's leave from here...'"
"However, Tapasvi ji refused to listen, so Palak firmly grasped his hand and forcibly led him out of the police station, heading home. Tapasvi ji felt deeply distressed, unable to secure justice for his daughter."
