"Ved was arrested by the police."

Start

"Seeing Palak cry uncontrollably was unbearable for everyone. Garima ji, Nandini, and the others began to cry as well.

Tapsavi ji couldn't ask Palak any further questions. He looked at Garima ji and said, 'Take Palak to her room, let her freshen up, eat something, and rest. She doesn't look well.'

Dadi intervened, 'First, tell us who took her away? Where was she? It's essential to know all this. Tomorrow morning, everyone will ask the same questions. Who knows what rumors will spread?'"

"Dadi was saying a lot, which didn't sit well with Tapsavi ji. He replied in a flat tone, 'Mother, I don't care about what others think. I care about my daughter, and I'm relieved to see her safe and sound. I don't need to justify myself to anyone.'

Palak could see the argument brewing between her father and grandmother. With a sad tone, she said, 'Papa, I don't know who those people were... the ones who kidnapped me and forced me into the car. But I do know it was that boy who did it.'

Palak recounted every detail of her ordeal, from start to finish. After hearing everything, Dadi began to piece together a different understanding of the situation."

"Dadi couldn't believe that Palak was telling the truth. Instead, she started questioning how Palak could have left the house if the boy had indeed kidnapped her. Dadi's words made Palak cry even more.

Tapsavi ji didn't want to argue with his mother, so he left the room. Garima took Palak to her room and asked her to freshen up. After that, she started preparing food for Palak. Nandini was waiting for her sister to come out.

A little later, Palak returned to the room, looking fresh but still sad. She sat on the bed, and Nandini sat beside her, trying to console her."

"Just then, Garima ji brought food into the room and fed Palak with her own hands. Palak didn't feel like eating at all, but she was hungry, and her mother coaxed her into eating a little.

After eating, Palak told her mother, 'Mummy, I'm very scared. I want to sleep with you today.' Garima ji agreed, and sat beside Palak, stroking her forehead. As she did so, Palak began to feel sleepy, but she continued to murmur in her sleep.

'Please let me go... please leave me alone... my family is waiting for me...!'"

"Seeing Palak's condition, Garima ji burst into tears. Nandini also started crying. Tapsavi ji, who had been watching from the room, couldn't bear it anymore. He called the police and informed them about the situation."

"Next Morning - 8:00 - Tapsavi ji arrived at the police station with Palak and filed an FIR against Ved. Palak also told the police that Ved was the one who kidnapped her and kept her captive with his men. She revealed that Ved himself had released her yesterday and that she was at the same spot where Ved and his men were present.

As Palak narrated the events, the police officers took note of every detail and assured her that they would arrest Ved as soon as possible."

"Garima ji didn't want to get entangled in all these complications. For her, the fact that her daughter was back safe and sound was enough. However, Tapsavi ji was determined to get justice for his daughter.

This morning, all the neighbors had gathered outside their house. Everyone was happy to see Palak, but they were all surprised that the notorious Ved had let her go. No one had expected that he would release her, and many thought that he might have harmed her instead. There were as many opinions as there were people, and it was all getting too much."

"2 hours later, the Balmapur police informed the Mumbai police, and once again, the police arrived at Ved's villa to arrest him. However, the shocking part was that this time, Palak had herself sent an arrest warrant in Ved's name.

Upon learning this, Ved's anger boiled over, as he had found Palak and safely returned her home. Yet, this girl had sent the police to his doorstep."

"Ved's lawyer tried to reason with the police, but they replied, 'If we don't arrest him and the father-daughter duo reaches the media, this matter will escalate. The girl was missing, and she has named Ved. Let the police do their job.' Once again, the Mumbai police arrested Ved."

"The police arriving at his villa, arresting him, and taking him away was not acceptable to Ved. His anger escalated, and he was furious. For Ved, the most disturbing fact was that despite being involved in various crimes and deals, he had never been caught or arrested. He had always managed to wriggle out of trouble, even if it meant taking someone's life. However, being arrested and taken to jail without committing a crime was a new and unsettling experience for him."

"Moreover, a new enemy had emerged for him, one who would question his character. Ved seemed calm on the surface, but it was clear that a storm was brewing. Meanwhile, in the village, Dadi repeatedly asked Palak if she had any relationship with the boy, as the neighbors were asking her many questions. When the news spread throughout the village that Tapsavi ji and his daughter had filed an FIR against Ved, people began to speculate and spread rumors."

"Some people were saying that Tapsavi ji should sell his land for a good price, while others were saying that he was unnecessarily creating enemies and that his daughter was no less to blame for stirring up trouble. The entire village was abuzz with discussions about Palak's kidnapping, with everyone sharing their own versions of the story.

Tapsavi ji and his daughter's reputation was being tarnished throughout the village, with almost everyone, except a few, speculating and spreading rumors. Dadi couldn't bear it anymore."

"Dadi scolded Palak multiple times, saying that when the boy had come to their house, Palak was flirting with him shamelessly. 'No boy would tolerate such behavior,' she said. 'That's why he kidnapped her, bringing shame to our family. Who will marry her now?'

Tapsavi ji couldn't bear the humiliation his daughter was facing. He went to the police station again, this time pleading with folded hands that Ved should be punished severely, as the matter concerned his daughter's honor."
