"Ved ordered Tiger to find Palak's whereabouts."

Start

Ved was never one to give up easily, but today he had to accept defeat because the matter had gone too far, even beyond the police's control. The Commissioner had taken it to heart that Ved had gone to their house and threatened them. Despite his lawyer's efforts, Ved had to spend 24 hours in custody, as the police had deemed it necessary.

Ved was fuming as he entered the jail, and his anger only intensified. He couldn't control himself, and his glare made his lawyer and guards retreat in fear. They hastily exited, intimidated by his fierce demeanor.

"After taking Ved into custody, the police informed Tapsvi Ji, who was at home due to the late hour. However, he wanted to meet Ved to understand why he had kidnapped his daughter.

The police had confiscated Ved's mobile phone, wallet, and other branded items, but despite being offered facilities in custody, Ved refused to accept anything. He sat on a wooden chair, his eyes blazing with anger. Throughout the night, he couldn't shake off the thought that he was being punished for a crime he didn't commit.

His anger was directed towards the Mishra family, but he also realized that someone must have taken advantage of him under the guise of being his ally."

"He was also wondering if Mishra's daughter had eloped with someone else and the blame was being shifted onto him. After much contemplation, he finally understood that she didn't seem like the kind of girl who would do such a thing.

However, Ved's mind was racing with other thoughts. He knew that girls who appeared innocent often turned out to be quite cunning. Torn between his heart and mind, he was getting increasingly entangled.

Normally, he would have easily resolved any issue, but what was happening to him now was becoming increasingly difficult for him to comprehend."

Next Morning _ Police station

"Tapsvi Ji arrived at the police station early in the morning. When he learned that Ved had been taken into custody, he immediately came to Mumbai with some of his associates.

As he entered the police station, he first met with the Commissioner and was allowed to see Ved. When Tapsvi Ji stood before Ved, Ved's eyes flashed with anger. His anger was palpable because he was innocent and had not kidnapped Tapsvi Ji's daughter."

"Ved stood with his usual attitude, as if Tapsvi Ji's presence didn't affect him. Tapsvi Ji, standing outside the jail bars, carefully observed Ved.

As a father, Tapsvi Ji's eyes welled up with tears. He struggled to find the right words, his voice trembling. Gathering his courage, he spoke, 'How can someone stoop so low to defeat someone? Didn't you have any mercy? A daughter is a father's pride, and you used this tactic to humiliate me...?'"

"Tapsvi Ji was still speaking when Ved, who was inside, suddenly walked up to the bars and slammed his fist on them, saying, 'Listen, Mishra, don't make me angrier. I'll say it only once; I don't repeat myself. I didn't kidnap your daughter. If I wanted to, I would have done it on the first day itself. But I don't work that way. I face my enemies head-on, understand?'

Tapsvi Ji couldn't comprehend what Ved was saying. He began to cry, and with folded hands, he pleaded, 'Return my daughter to me. This old father is begging you, please have mercy on me and return my daughter...'" 🙏

"Ved's anger was escalating, and he gritted his teeth, saying, 'Don't you understand when I say something once? You're hounding me! How many times must I say it? I didn't kidnap your daughter, and I'm saying it for the last time. If you don't believe me, that's your problem. But stop accusing me, or my anger will boil over, and I might do something I wouldn't normally do.'

Ved was furious, while Tapsvi Ji, still crying, pleaded with folded hands, 'You want my shop, don't you? Take it! I don't want anything. You can even take my house... I'll leave with my daughter and settle in another village. But please, return my daughter! I can't live without her. Is all this because of the land dispute? Take everything! I don't want money or anything else... just return my daughter!'"

"Watching Tapsvi Ji cry and plead, Ved realized that the old man deeply loved his daughter. Ved also began to wonder who could have done this. It was obvious that Tapsvi Ji would suspect him, given the threats he had made. However, those threats were not about kidnapping his daughter, but about forcibly vacating the shop."

"Seeing Tapsvi Ji's condition, Ved felt a pang of guilt somewhere, but he was also angry because he hadn't kidnapped his daughter. Both were right in their own ways.

After a while, the Commissioner again questioned Tapsvi Ji, 'Is there anyone around who might have a grudge against you? Has there been any fight or dispute with someone?'"

"Tapsvi Ji's words were also heard by Ved, but he didn't react. He understood that no matter how hard he tried to prove himself right, Tapsvi Ji was a grieving father desperate to find his daughter. Ved decided it was best to remain calm.

The Commissioner consoled Tapsvi Ji, saying, 'Our team will start investigating the college again, questioning every student...'

After a while, the Commissioner reassured Tapsvi Ji that they would find his daughter and asked him to return home."

"After Tapsvi Ji left, the Commissioner again questioned Ved, who maintained that he had not kidnapped Tapsvi Ji's daughter.

A few hours later, Ved's lawyer arrived with papers from the court and handed them to the Commissioner, saying, 'Now you can release him, as I have presented all the evidence in court.'

The Commissioner and the lawyer discussed the matter at length. Ved had all the evidence, including footage from the meetings he attended, which proved his alibi through CCTV footage and meeting attendance records. As a result, Ved was granted bail."

"When Ved was released from custody, he gave a stern glance at the Commissioner, as he was still fuming. He felt that instead of searching for the missing girl, the police had arrested him, while the real culprit was roaming free. This thought was stuck in Ved's mind.

As Ved stepped out of the police station, he saw Tiger and the driver waiting with the car. Ved got in, and an eerie silence filled the vehicle. Ved was seething with anger, and it was impossible for him to calm down, especially after the night he spent at the police station.

As soon as they reached the villa, Ved got out of the car and rushed to his room, slamming the door shut behind him. He stood in front of the dressing table, scrutinizing himself, as if he was being humiliated all over again. However, he regretted not staying calm, and this realization was eating away at him."

"Ved, physically strong, was trying to calm himself down mentally. He gritted his teeth and said to himself, 'I can't keep repeating that I'm innocent, but whoever has taken advantage of my name will face consequences. I'll make sure they're not even worthy of showing their face.'

Ved went to the washroom, freshened up, and then went to his study room. He called Tiger and his lawyer to join him. Ved sat in his chair, while Tiger and the lawyer sat opposite him. Ved appeared calm, but after two minutes of silence, he looked at them and spoke, 'Tiger, find out where that girl is. If she's run away on her own, that's fine. But if someone has kidnapped her, they

Tiger and the lawyer could see that Ved was seething with anger. They listened calmly to his instructions, and Ved emphasized that this task needed to be completed quickly. He couldn't tolerate any more false accusations, as his patience was wearing thin."
