Episode 6: A Heart Shattered

Episode 6: A Heart Shattered

---

Scene: The Min Mansion – Late Evening.

Jimin sat in her room, staring at the flickering candle on her bedside table. Yoongi’s words from earlier echoed in her mind: “I was wrong about you.”

She wanted to believe him, but the scars his mistrust had left were too deep. Her heart ached as she remembered every moment he had dismissed her, accused her, and looked at her with nothing but disdain.

Her phone buzzed, breaking her thoughts. It was a message from her friend at the shelter:

“Jimin, someone is still spreading lies about you. They’ve emailed the sponsors.”

Her hands trembled as she read the words.

Jimin: (thinking) Will this ever stop?

---

Scene: Yoongi’s Study.

Yoongi sat at his desk, nursing a glass of whiskey. The weight of his actions pressed heavily on him. The investigator’s findings replayed in his mind, confirming every doubt he had tried to ignore about Liza.

He looked at the photo frame on his desk. It was a picture from his wedding day with Jimin. She had looked radiant, her smile full of hope. He clenched his jaw, guilt stabbing him like a knife.

Yoongi: (to himself) "I destroyed that hope."

---

Scene: Flashback – The Wedding Day.

Yoongi stood at the altar, his heart pounding, but not for Jimin. He was waiting for Liza, hoping she would arrive and stop the ceremony.

When she didn’t show, he turned to see Jimin walking down the aisle, her eyes sparkling with nervous excitement.

Yoongi: (thinking) This isn’t what I wanted.

The ceremony passed in a blur, and as they exchanged vows, Yoongi’s voice was cold and detached. He barely glanced at Jimin, too consumed by anger and betrayal.

After the ceremony, he had confronted Jimin in their private suite.

Yoongi: (furious) "You planned this, didn’t you? You knew she wouldn’t come!"

Jimin had looked at him, stunned by the venom in his voice.

Jimin: (softly) "I didn’t plan anything. I didn’t even want this marriage."

Yoongi had scoffed, his words cutting deep.

Yoongi: "Of course you did. You’re just like the rest—greedy and desperate for a better life."

The memory faded as Yoongi slammed the glass down on the desk, the sound shattering the silence.

---

Scene: Jimin’s Room – Midnight.

Jimin sat on the floor, clutching her phone. Tears streamed down her face as she read through hateful comments online. The lies Liza had spread were relentless, and Jimin felt herself breaking under the weight of it all.

There was a knock at her door.

Jimin: (wiping her tears) "Come in."

Yoongi entered, his usual confident demeanor replaced with hesitation.

Yoongi: "Jimin, I..."

He trailed off when he saw her tear-streaked face.

Yoongi: (softly) "What’s wrong?"

Jimin let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head.

Jimin: "What isn’t wrong, Yoongi? My life has been hell since the day I married you."

Yoongi flinched, her words cutting deeper than he expected.

Yoongi: "I’m trying to make things right."

Jimin: (snapping) "And what does that mean? Do you think an apology will erase everything you’ve done? All the things you said to me? The way you looked at me like I was nothing?"

Yoongi’s fists clenched at his sides.

Yoongi: "I know I hurt you, Jimin. But I was blind—"

Jimin: (interrupting) "No, Yoongi. You chose to be blind. You chose to believe someone like Liza over me. You never gave me a chance."

Her voice cracked as she stood, her pain spilling over.

Jimin: "I gave up everything to be with you. My dreams, my freedom. And what did I get in return? Humiliation. Loneliness."

Yoongi took a step closer, his voice low.

Yoongi: "I’ll fix it, Jimin. I swear I will."

Jimin shook her head, her tears falling freely.

Jimin: (whispering) "You can’t fix this, Yoongi. Some things are too broken to mend."

She brushed past him, leaving the room and leaving him standing there, the silence deafening.

---

Scene: Liza’s Penthouse – The Next Day.

Liza paced the room, furious. Yoongi’s cold dismissal had shaken her. She threw her glass against the wall, the shards scattering across the floor.

Liza: (to herself) "This isn’t over, Yoongi. Not by a long shot."

She picked up her phone, dialing a number.

Liza: "It’s time for Plan B. If I can’t have him, no one will."

---

Scene: The Min Mansion – Later That Night.

Jimin returned home late from the shelter, exhausted and emotionally drained. As she walked into the living room, she found Yoongi waiting for her.

Yoongi: "You’re late."

Jimin rolled her eyes, too tired to argue.

Jimin: "Why does it matter to you?"

Yoongi stood, his expression conflicted.

Yoongi: "Because I care."

Jimin laughed bitterly, shaking her head.

Jimin: "Care? You don’t even know what that means, Yoongi."

She turned to leave, but his next words stopped her in her tracks.

Yoongi: "I’m falling for you, Jimin."

Her heart stopped, the weight of his confession hanging in the air. Slowly, she turned to face him, her eyes filled with disbelief.

Jimin: (softly) "Don’t say things you don’t mean."

Yoongi stepped closer, his voice firm.

Yoongi: "I mean it. I don’t know when it happened, but I see you now. I see the way you care for others, the way you stand strong even when the world is against you. And I..."

Jimin held up a hand, cutting him off.

Jimin: (coldly) "You don’t get to say that, Yoongi. Not after everything."

She walked away, leaving him alone with his regret.
