The shop

Su Wan reached the shop to find it have a steady stream of customers going in and out. John was able to spot us as we came in but I told him not to attract attention to us since I still had a somewhat bad reputation.

We passed through the back up to his office just to meet someone already waiting inside.

"You must be the owner" the woman said.

"Yes and what can I do for you" I said sitting infront of her

"I was to be the original owner but instead I became a customer. So I truly am curious about the person who could snatch my things" she said smiling.

Su Wan stared at the head of the information guild nervously. She was first introduced when the heroine saved the old couple from the debt. She came here in the same way to meet the person who took her supposed hide out but was impressed by the halo of the heroine's purity and became her ally.

Su Wan wandered if she should answer like the original heroine or not but felt that righteously saying it was just to help the poor isn't something the original 'her' would do.

"If you have more money than I do then you can get it from me" Su Wan said with her most arrogant tone that she could muster, praying in her head that she doesn't get offended.

"I don't think anyone in this country can have more money than your family" she said amused.

"My family has me in it meaning that it's still my money so don't try to insult me subtly" I said narrowing my eyes at her.

"The princess is right" she said smiling

"All you've done is to delay the real reason why you're here" I said

"It's just a trip to satisfy my curiosity" she said attempting to stand up

"You can't possibly leave without patronizing my shop" I said stopping her

"And what would I need from here, I don't have any need for fancy decorations" she said

"I have a special deal for you that I'm sure is also in your favor" I said calmly seeping tea.

"What deal"

"Information that should interest you"I replied

"How much would this information cost" she asked

"It's just a guarantee for exclusive rights to certain goods of yours" I said

"If the information is as important as you think it is then we can negotiate" she said sitting down

"I don't negotiate. It's either you agree or don't" I said this confidently because it truly doesn't matter if she rejects me since I have the power of the plot.

"Alright if you can satisfy me then I agree" she said

I wrote the information on a piece of paper. It was about an informant hiding in their ranks that was mistakenly caught by the heroine when she came to have a surprise visit to the guild. It made the mercenary queen here be her loyal dog who used her ability to find criminal information about the powerful family of the villainess.

It's safe to say she was the major factor that helped the heroine face slap all the nobles against the marriage to the prince and made her time as queen solid by taking care of all the trouble makers.

At first the woman was still neutral but she began to frown when she saw the note and it's content.

"How did you come across this information" she said studying me

"It's your choice whether to believe me or not but I hope you honor our deal" I'm definitely going to snatch you away from the heroine.

"If this really is true then I'll owe you a lot more than you asked for" she said smiling.

Once she was out, I sighed in relief then began to inspect the shop as a normal customer. I was feeling a bit hungry so I went to eat some snack but ended up buying a bag for Mari because she kept staring at my hand. I was happy to finally reach home away from the plot and it's characters until I remembered that I was meant to escort the Duke tomorrow in the capital.

Zephyrine pov

I thought that the miss was very cool today as she handled the procedure but I couldn't get over the fact that that person ignored me. I remember his build from the time we killed that guy from the evil organization.

He was standing on the roof watching us so I waved hi but when I saw him again without his mask , I tried to wave at him but he just looked at me surprised.

Don't underestimate me, after watching the knights train I learnt to memorize the builds of different guys.

My problem now is that I want to learn magic but magic is a main character's halo but it should be applicable to the close side character too... hopefully.

I wrote the letter of my day then sent it to Derek through the magic bird. I checked to make sure the miss wasn't going out then took a carriage to the wizard Tower.

I handsomely tipped the attendant then used a special seal that I borrowed from the miss then walked to a separate room to test my affinity.

I placed my hand to the orb and it did light up meaning I could use magic. I applied for a spot in the tower but then graciously bribed... I mean explained that my miss requires my presence all day so I would have to learn at her side.

I was permitted to borrow books from the library but wasn't allowed to pass it on to anyone else. I agreed happily and spent the rest of the day in the library researching magic.

I found it surprisingly easy and my mana pool was really good. It looks like I do have a talent for magic with my favorite one being the spell to hide my presence; it makes it easier to eavesdrop on people and listen to gossip.

At first I was worried because it came so effortlessly to me so maybe I was the chosen one so I tested it out by trying to teach Ashley from memory and she got it immediately so I sighed in relief.

I may be a side character but even us side character have our own talent like the fact that I'm good in magic but not as much as Ashley and neither is my fighting skills that impressive, just slightly better than people around my age.

If Ashley could learn it this easily then Derrick should be even better right because the more handsome a guy is; the more talented he is. Don't ask me why but that's just how it is in this type of situation, the only exception is for the opposition side who has beauty but is mediocre or arrogant.

I was excited for the next day because this is the scene from where the male and female leads start to become entangled with each other plus I get to see Derrick again. I've already harassed all the guy's in here with my eyes but now I'm bored of them but I'll never be bored of that guy's face.

All in all, tomorrow is going to be very exciting.

Derrick POV

It seems that it's finally time to meet the person who can lead me to the core of this world. I have become the hidden guard for the Duke as per my request, I was offered a personal guard but showing my face is detrimental to my plans so I run his hidden errands.

Speaking of; I think it's time I start to build my own information guild. It's better in this low level world because the will of the world makes it so that information guilds have the ability to get any information as long as they have capable workers.

Besides no one is able to track them here because the core of this world also has the most protective feature.

I can't do it alone because I have to avoid suspicion from the Duke but I have the perfect cat in mind for the job.
