(Ready for the girls entry, my cuties)
Morning time, Dishi’s house
Dishi was helping her mother in the kitchen as all three of them need to leave to their respective battlefields; that is Dharam ji (Dishi’s father) had to go to his office, Dishi was going to hers and Vidhi (Dishi’s younger sister) had to go to her school. So it was really hard for Monika ji (Dishi’s mother) to prepare their lunches alone.
Dishi was packing her sister’s lunch box when her phone started ringing. She picked up her call while handing over the lunchbox to Vidhi.
Dishi: good morning, Miss Ahuja.
Risha: hi girl, are you ready for the work? I am coming to pick you up…..
Monika ji asked by eye movement to Dishi about who she was talking to this early in the morning, so Dishi put her hand on the mic of her smartphone and said that it was Risha. Then Monika ji nods in agreement….
Dishi: no-no-no don’t come over as today papa (dad) has to reach his office a bit early so he won’t be able to send Vidhi to her school so I am sending her today by metro (metro train in Delhi).
Risha: ok, no problem I will pick you up from Vidhi’s school then as Tara is also picking up Pakhi from her house, yesterday we decided to go to work by car.
Dishi: ok that will do byeeee.
Risha: bye, see you.
Then Dishi and Vidhi leave for the metro station and takes a metro. Dishi was looking very simple and soothing to eyes as she wore a pink floral knee length Kurti (A Kurti is a long-sleeved, collar-less tunic worn by women in India. The Kurti, which usually rests just past the hips, is a slightly-shorter version of the kurta, which falls to the knees.) along with denim blue jeans and flat belly (a type of flat, close-toed shoe that are similar to ballet slippers), had a black floral scarf around her neck and a pink smartwatch in her left hand with hairs tied in a high ponytail. In the name of makeup she had just applied a pink lip balm and had no earring and carried a black sling bag.
Vidhi was in her as usual school uniform holding her sister’s hand to avoid falling as there were no seats available at this time.
The metro was quite crowded as it was office hour time so they went to the ladies coach. (The ladies coach in the Delhi Metro is the first coach of every running train and is reserved exclusively for women. Male passengers are not allowed to travel in this coach.) soon they reached Vidhi’s school and after dropping her she spotted a black car which was none other than Risha’s. she quickly hopped in the passenger seat of the car and the car drove away……..
Soon there were two black cars driving on the busy roads of Delhi. In one car Dishi was sitting with a beautiful girl who was driving the car. She wore a black crop top with denim knee-length skirt paired with high heels and had left her brown curly hairs flowing freely.
And in the other car one girl was driving, this is Tara who wore a white off shoulder top along with black denim jeans and had left her short black straight hairs flowing freely over her bare shoulders.
And another girl was sitting on the passenger seat she somewhat looked innocent, this was Pakhi who wore a red Kurti with white palazzo paired with white scarf and had tied her hair in a side braid.
Both the cars were waiting for the red light to turn green then the girls suddenly heard some voices and looked at each other with excitement and stepped out of the cars, went in the direction of the sound……..
(For a better experience hear the song “Asalaam-e-Ishqum” from “Gundey” while reading ahead)
The song was played in a park and some college students were dancing.
Ishq hai woh aatish Ghalib
Jo jalaaye ne jale
Bujhaaye na bujhe
Apni salamati hai maangti
Tujhse nazar o naazani
Salaam se naakaam se
Dil ki kayi baatein bani
The four girls were walking with full attitude, forming a diagonal line. Their movements are fluid, with a mix of hip sways and hand gestures, exuding elegance and charm. After reaching the park where the students were dancing. There were twelve boys and eight girls, so as soon as they reached Dishi, Risha, Tara and Pakhi removed the sunglasses from boy 1, boy 2, girl 1 and boy 3 respectively and put them on themselves. The students were shocked by their actions and then all the boys energetically, started performing strong and confident shoulder rolls, and bounce slightly on their places.
Asalam-e-Ishqum yaara
Asalam-e-Ishqum
Ho meri aadayein teer hain
Haan meri aadayein teer hain
Meri aadayein teer hain
Mere yaar nishaana tum
Then those four started doing dance steps by rising the right hand and then left hand in front of the eyes with palm inwards and then the reached in front of boys and then Tara went to boy 1 and slightly touched his cheek on “ meri aadayein teer hain”, Risha also did the same thing to boy 2, and Pakhi also did the same to boy 3. Then Dishi slightly lowered her glasses from her eyes and winked her right eye to them on "mere yaar nishana tum" and put it back in place. And all boys placed their hands on their chests in response to her action.
Asalaam-e-Ishquum yaara
Asalaam-e-Ishquum
Asalaam-e-Ishquum yaara
Asalaam-e-Ishquum
Apni salamati hai maangti
Tujhse nazar oh naazani
Salaam se nakaam se
Dil ki kayi baatein bani
All the girl students comes behind Dishi, Risha, Tara and Pakhi. And all the girls including those four extend one arm outward with their palms facing up, performing a wrist twist, while the other arm rests on their hip. While the boys respond with a chest bump. The girls and boys were dancing by pacing each other.
Haan maar de ya chhod de tu
Rakh le dil ya tod de tu
Aisa koi mod de tu
Zindagi mein ho mazaa
Hey raat ka tanha safar ho
Ishq apne zor par ho
Karwatein kuch humsafar ho
Aag bin ho tan jalaa
All the boys then gets on one knee and then keep their hands on their chests as if pointing daggers to their heart. Dishi and girls in response to this sway their hips side to side in sync with the rhythm with hand in hairs. Then all the boys pointing toward the sky winks at the girls and all the girls acts to ignore them.
Haan ek baar dhuein se husn ke
Ek baar dhuein se husn ke
Ek baar dhuein se husn ke
Thoda sa bhar lo dum
Then Pakhi comes forward, extend her arms fluidly in a sweeping motion, mimicking the idea of smoke, and bring their hands close to their face as if admiring her own beauty. After her Risha came forward and did the same thing and Tara also did the same coming forward. Then Dishi came forward both hand on hips did the dance step as if inhaling a fragrance on "thoda sa bharlo dum".
Asalaam-e-Ishqum yaara
Asalaam-e-Ishqum
Asalaam-e-Ishqum yaara
Asalaam-e-Ishqum
Apni salamati hai maangti
Tujhse nazar o naazani
Salaam se naakaam se
Dil ki kayi baatein bani
Asalam-e-Ishqum yaara
Asalam-e-Ishqum...
At the end, the boys kneel on one knee, gesturing toward the girls. Then Dishi, Risha, Tara, and Pakhi step forward with a confident stride, slightly wave with a coy smile leaves the park and the song ends. All four girls hops into the cars and drive away to their office as they were getting late.
