Episode 3: “The Practice Confession"
[Scene 1 – Dorm Room, Morning]
The dorm room is a battlefield of dirty clothes, sports gear, and half-finished textbooks. Zion stands in the center, broom in hand, staring at the chaos like it personally offended him. Fang is lying on his bed, scrolling through his phone without a care in the world.
Zion (Sighing, hands on hips):
Alright, Fang. We’re doing this. "Operation Clean-Up" starts now.
Fang groans dramatically, covering his face with a pillow.
Fang:
Do we have to? The mess isn’t that bad…
Zion (Glancing at a pile of socks in the corner):
I think something in that corner moved. Yes, we have to.
Fang peeks from behind the pillow, unimpressed.
[Scene 2 ]
Zion starts sweeping, picking up stray papers and tossing clothes into the laundry basket. Fang slowly sits up, stretching lazily.
Fang (Yawning):
Alright, alright… I’ll help. But only if you answer something for me.
Zion (Not looking up):
Help first. Questions later.
Fang finally rolls off the bed, picking up a random shirt and folding it in the laziest way possible.
Fang (Casually):
How do you talk to a girl without sounding like an idiot?
Zion’s broom pauses mid-sweep. He looks up at Fang with narrowed eyes.
Zion:
Seriously?
Fang (Nodding, genuinely curious):
Yeah. I mean, you’re smooth. People actually like you.
Zion (Scoffing):
Barely.
Fang:
C’mon. You gotta teach me. I don’t wanna embarrass myself in front of Mayumi.
Zion sets the broom aside, crossing his arms.
Zion:
Fine. But you *will* clean while I explain.
Fang salutes dramatically.
Fang:
Yes, sir!
[Scene 3 – The Lesson]
As Fang folds (badly), Zion sits at the desk, scribbling “steps to not embarrass yourself” in his notebook.
Zion (Lecturing):
First, confidence. Don’t trip over your words. Compliment her—but don’t overdo it. And please, don’t stare at her like a weirdo.
Fang (Furrowing his brows):
I don’t stare like a weirdo.
Zion:
You totally do.
Fang groans, falling back onto the bed dramatically.
Fang:
This is harder than basketball.
Fang suddenly props himself up, grinning mischievously.
Fang:
Alright, let’s test it.
Zion (Blinking):
What?
Fang (Grinning wider):
Just pretend, dude. I need practice!
Zion hesitates, clearly regretting agreeing to this. But he sighs and leans back, arms crossed.
Zion:
Fine. Go ahead.
Fang stands up, rolling his shoulders and dramatically smoothing his hair.
Fang: (In a confident tone, copying Zion’s earlier advice
Hey, You look beautiful today. You always brighten up my day… and I like that about you.

The room falls silent.
Zion blinks, completely caught off guard by how smooth Fang sounded. His heart skips a beat before his brain processes what just happened. A faint blush creeps up his face.
Zion (Stammering):
Wha—Dude, you’re supposed to say that to her, not, me.
Fang (Laughing, clueless):
Did it sound good though? Be honest.
Zion (Trying to recover):
I—Yeah. It sounded fine. Whatever.
Fang smirks, leaning closer.
Fang:
You blushed. I saw that.
Zion (Turning away, flustered):
It’s "hot" in here, okay? Shut up and keep folding.
[Scene 4]
The room is finally clean. Zion slouches on the couch, trying to forget the weird feeling that lingers.
Fang (Grinning, leaning against the wall):
Maybe I should use that line tomorrow!.
Zion (Groaning):
Yeah, sure. Just… don’t tell me about it.
Fang (Teasing):
You jealous or something?
Zion narrows his eyes, throwing a pillow at Fang.
Zion (Scowling):
Don’t push your luck.
Fang (Laughing):
Admit it. I’m getting good at this.
Zion crosses his arms, face still slightly red as he grumbles to himself.
Zion (Narrating):
I should’ve known. Helping Fang with this was a mistake.
