Episode 5 : Dinner

I blink few time and nods as yes. It's good to help others.

"Yeah sure please come inside." I said letting him inside.

He gets inside and I close the door and told him to sit down. I give him my hotspot and he smiled and thanked me. "It will be done in few minutes." He said.

"Yeah, It's fine. You can use it." I said. Today I already updated my novels and now I will cook for myself and then go to sleep. My simple routine.

"umm what's your name?" He suddenly asked.

"Priya, Priya Das." I said with a smile. I don't know suddenly I saw a strange smile on his face. Maybe I saw wrong.

"Do you like some tea?" I asked.

"No..thanks." He said. And then stand up." I am done. Let's meet later." He said.

"Oh it was fast." I said.

"Humm. I know. Um how about next day you come to my house for dinner?" he asked.

"Um. But I think....I have a plan..." I said.

"Plan? What?" You are going out with someone?" He asked and there was somthing strange in his voice.

"umm no...not that ... actually....I was planning to meet a friend of mine who live here...so..." I was hesitating. I don't know there was somthing off.

"Umm ok I will go to your home for dinner." I said with a force smile. Better go next time.

I suddenly smiled and nods. I close the door behind him as he left my apartment.

Why I am feeling so odd about this man? Who is he? Oh yeah! I forgot to ask his name. God!

I wear a normal red dress and a light makeup. It's not fine to go to someone 's house who is a stranger with normal home dress.

I knocked the door and he open the door after few minutes. I saw he was wearing a black t shirt. He works in office?

"Welcome. I was having a online meeting so ignore my dress." He said.

I smiled "It's fine." I said and get inside.

"Please sit down. The dinner is almost ready." He said.

"Are you cooking?" I asked with surprise. He smiled and nods as yes.

"Wow so amazing! Your wife will be lucky." I said.

"You think so?" He said.

"Yeah, Of course!" I said.

"But I don't think so. She don't like me I think." He said.

"Oh? You are married?"

"Still not. But our family is talking about our marriage. It's an arrange marriage. But she kind of ran away from home." He said.

Suddenly a strange silence. His fiancee ran away? Why it's sounding like me. She is like me.

"I see." I said and look at him. He was looking at my eyes.

"You stay here?"

"No, I stay in Delhi." He said.

"I see. .... Your name?" I asked

"Vijay Singhania" He said with a cold voice. Or it was sounding cold because my hands are shaking after hearing the name.
