Zerath’s Wrath:
The scene opens in Zerath’s war tent, a lavish but intimidating space filled with maps, battle plans, and the spoils of his conquests. Zerath sits on his throne-like chair, his piercing gaze fixed on the battlefield through a gap in the tent’s flap. Frosthold’s walls still stand, and his army, despite their overwhelming numbers, has yet to breach the fortress.
A soldier stumbles into the tent, bloodied and trembling. “My lord, I bring dire news…”
Zerath’s voice is like steel. “Speak.”
The soldier hesitates before blurting out, “Kael Drakfyr… he betrayed us. He fights alongside the defenders.”
For a moment, silence fills the tent. Then, with a sudden roar, Zerath flips the war table, scattering maps and pieces across the floor. The shard embedded in his chest glows fiercely, and the temperature in the tent drops as frost begins to creep along the ground.
“Kael,” Zerath hisses, his voice laced with venom. “I trusted him, gave him power, and this is how he repays me?”
Commander Varyn, standing nearby, steps forward cautiously. “We should focus on retaking control, my lord. The shard’s power still courses through you. We can—”
Zerath cuts him off, his eyes blazing. “Silence! Kael’s betrayal will cost him dearly. I will see him broken before me, begging for mercy that I will not grant.”

The Shard’s Influence:
As Zerath broods, the shard embedded in his chest pulses erratically, sending waves of dark energy through his body. He clenches his fists, trying to steady his breathing, but the power is overwhelming.
A voice whispers in his mind, deep and ancient. “Your anger feeds me, Zerath. Use it. Unleash it.”
Zerath smirks, his expression dark. “I will. And when I’m done, there will be nothing left of Frosthold but ashes.”
He turns to Varyn. “Prepare the sorcerers. We’ll unleash the shard’s full power on the fortress. Let Kael and his new allies see the true might of their enemy.”

Kael Rallies the Defenders:
Back at Frosthold, Kael, Selyne, and Seraphine regroup in the fortress’s war room. Despite their initial success, they know that Zerath will not retreat so easily.
Kael leans over the map spread across the table. “Zerath won’t wait long to strike again. He’s too proud for that.”
Seraphine studies Kael, her expression wary. “You’ve been on his side for years. How can we trust you?”
Kael meets her gaze. “Because I’ve seen what Zerath is capable of. And because I know that if he wins, no one will survive—not you, not me, not the realm.”
Selyne speaks up, her tone firm. “We don’t have time for mistrust. Kael’s here now, and he’s fighting for us. That’s what matters.”
Kael nods, gratitude flickering in his eyes. “We need to focus on the shard. As long as Zerath wields its power, he’s nearly unstoppable.”

Zerath’s Ritual:
Outside Frosthold, Zerath gathers his sorcerers in a circle around him. The air crackles with energy as they chant in an ancient tongue, their voices rising and falling like a sinister melody.
The shard in Zerath’s chest glows brighter with each word, and dark clouds swirl overhead, blotting out the sun. Lightning arcs through the sky, striking the ground near the fortress walls.
Commander Varyn watches from a distance, unease written across his face. “This power… it’s unnatural,” he mutters.
Zerath raises his hands, and a massive wave of dark energy bursts from his body, sweeping across the battlefield. The ground quakes, and Frosthold’s defenders struggle to maintain their footing as the fortress walls begin to crack under the force.

The Turning Point:
Inside Frosthold, Kael feels the shard embedded in his chest react violently to Zerath’s power. He doubles over, clutching his chest as a surge of pain courses through him.
“Kael!” Selyne rushes to his side.
He grits his teeth, forcing himself to stand. “It’s Zerath. He’s using the shard to tear down the fortress. We need to stop him now.”
Seraphine nods. “We’ll gather our forces and launch a counterattack. But how do we stop the shard?”
Kael hesitates before answering. “The shard feeds on rage and destruction. If we can weaken Zerath’s connection to it, we might have a chance.”
Selyne places a hand on his shoulder. “Then let’s give him something he doesn’t expect.”

A Defiant Stand:
The episode ends with Frosthold’s defenders rallying at the gates, their banners flying high despite the chaos. Kael, Selyne, and Seraphine stand at the forefront, their expressions resolute.
From atop a hill, Zerath watches them, his eyes glowing with shard-fueled power. He raises his hand, and the ground beneath Frosthold begins to crumble.
But instead of retreating, the defenders charge forward, their war cries echoing across the battlefield.
The camera pans out to show the two forces converging in a clash of steel and magic, with Frosthold’s fate hanging in the balance.
