How they met

A five year old girl was happily running around the park, she had come here for vacation with her parents and her brother. She bumped into someone and fell. She started crying, the boy with whom she bumped didn't know what to do. He crouched down and said, "little girl what is your name? And don't cry I will give you a piggy back ride to your house see. " saying that he kneeled down by facing his back towards her and then extended his arms for her to climb. She wiped her tears and climbed on his back. She said, "I am Rachel, What is your name? And how old are you? " He replied proudly, "I am David and I am six years old" She tightened her grip on his shoulders, "Hmph who are you calling a little girl? I am five years old and you are only one year order than me. Don't act proud. " His proudness didn't last hearing her words, his mood became a bit dark but it vanished immediately, this was the first time someone had said him to not be proud. He was always doted on by everyone around him, even his friends didn't dare to speak like this to him. He got extremely angry whenever someone said these things to him but surprisingly this time he was not angry and rather he felt very happy. They arrived near her home and they said their good byes, she said him to come to her home tomorrow to play.

For the next few days they played together, Rachel's parents were very happy seeing her playing with him as Rachel never warmed up to strangers. Soon Rachel's vacation came to an end and so they had to return back. David gave her his phone number so that they could be in contact. She happily bid her good bye to him and left from there along with her older brother and parents.

It was a long journey from their vacation place to there house and so midway Rachel fell asleep. She woke up suddenly and asked her parents to stop the car because she wanted to pee. They said her to hold for a few minutes as soon they will be reaching their house. They were driving through a forest road and it was already dark so after a few minutes Rachel started to jump in her seat so as to make her parents stop the car. Her mother was saying her to keep quiet but all in vain, so her father just turned towards her for a second to say her to keep quiet but..... but who knew that for that spilt second of distraction of her father while driving would have caused them an major accident. Their car collided with another car because her father couldn't step on the brake paddle at the correct time causing the collision. The ambulance was called and all the people were taken to the hospital. The other family in the other car didn't suffer any major injuries. Rachel's father didn't open the airbags in the car and so Rachel's mother suffered great injury and was on a critical stage. Rachel and her older brother were fine, their father's right hand had fractured. After a week Rachel's mother's heartbeat suddenly became slow and she died. The doctor's tried their best but were unable to save her. And after that incident her brother started hating her, he thought that due to Rachel's will and whining that day, the accident had occured and so he had lost his mother.

The piece of paper in which David had given his information got lost during this accident.

Later when Rachel was eighteen her father had a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. At that time Liam visited his father and got to know that when they were small the accident had happened because his father was unable to step on the brake on time and so the accident was more fatal than what it was supposed to be. After saying this their father breathed his last breath. Liam took some time but he finally had let go of his past and had forgiven Rachel. Then he and Rachel both started managing their dad's company and they also opened their own company 'Miller group's.Within two years their new company became very well known and expanded vastly due to Rachel's capabilities. Later they joined both of the companies and became more powerful.
