The Banquet starts

Finally it was time for them to leave for the banquet. David knocked on Rachel's door and said, "I and Rose will be leaving. How you will come is your matter, just don't expect me to help you. " Rachel just replied with an 'En'.

This was the first time David was attending such a high class banquet. And in this banquet the only person he was acquainted with was the CEO of Miller Groups.

Although David was rich, his assets couldn't even be compared with the assets of Miller Groups.

David and Rose's car drove in front of the Banquet Hall's entrance but no one noticed them.

They entered the banquet and started speaking with Mr. Foller hoping to meme some connections.

After half an hour Rachel's car stopped in front of the Hall's entrance, she stepped out of her car and walked towards the entrance. As soon as she stepped inside the banquet everyone started murmuring. David and Rose turned their heads to see who had created such a sensation just by stepping on the hall, they were stunned to see Rachel walking inside. David thought that even though she caused a sensation, she will probably be ignored by afterwards so he didn't pay her attention. David again tried to resuming his conversation with Mr. Foller but he ignored David and waved his hands towards the direction of Rachel. Soon Rachel walked over there and only now did she see David and Rose standing there.

Rose sneered and said, "Do you think Mr. Foller was waiving his hands towards you? Please don't be delusional and give us face! You are here because of us, so be in your limit. Mr. Foller probably doesn't even know your name. "

Foller was taken aback by this comment and he squinted his eyes and asked, "Excuse me miss but how can you speak in this manner to her? "

Foller's tone clearly showed disappointment but David still said, "We are extremely sorry Mr. Foller but this is the first time she is attending these kind of banquet so please forgive her on mine and Rose's behalf. "

Foller this time ignored his comment and extended his hands towards Rachel, "It's a pleasure meeting you again Miss Rachel, it has been many months since we had spoken. " Rachel also shook his hand and expressed, "It's a pleasure to meet you too Mr. Foller! Hope you are doing well. "

Foller replied, "Of course, But may I ask the relation between you and this couple here? "

Seeing them having a merry conversation David and Rose moved else where.

During the whole banquet nearly everyone walked up to Rachel and spoke to her.

Rose was burning with jealousy as she saw this. She thought of a plan and called a waiter and said, "Go to that woman in Royal Blue gown and say her that David is calling her to that corner. " She handed over some money to the waiter and the waiter nodded.

While Rose was planning something, Rachel said about her pregnancy and about her divorce to Foller and Liam. Both Foller and Liam knew about her and David, it was only that Foller had never seen David so he didn't recognise him earlier. Hearing the relationship among them for the past four years both of them were very angry as they knew about the sacrifices Rachel had made for David while David was completely unaware about these things.
