Everything went... it was over

As the days turned into weeks, Payu's execution date drew near. He had lost all hope, and his spirits were at an all-time low.

His lawyers had exhausted all avenues of appeal, and it seemed like nothing could stop the inevitable.

Payu spent most of his days pacing in his cell, trying to come to terms with his fate. As the sun began to set on the day before his execution...Payu felt a sense of resignation wash over him. He had accepted his kind of life, and all he could do now was wait for the morning. He lay down on his narrow bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. His mind was numb, unable to comprehend the reality of his situation.

The hours ticked by slowly, each one bringing him closer to his inevitable life. Payu closed his eyes, trying to shut out the darkness that surrounded him.But sleep eluded him, and he lay awake, his heart heavy with despair...The night wore on, the silence of the prison punctuated only by the occasional distant clang of steel or the muffled cry of another inmate.

Payu's thoughts turned to family, and friends, and the life he never got to live. Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he thought about all the things he never had.The darkness seemed to press in around him, suffocating him. Payu felt like he was drowning in his own despair. As the first light of dawn began to creep into the prison, Payu knew that his time was running out. He steeled himself for what was to come, trying to find some last shred of dignity in the face of death...

The hours ticked by with agonizing slowness, each one bringing Payu closer to his execution. He was led out of his cell and taken to the prison's execution chamber, his heart heavy with the weight of his impending fate.As he walked, the sound of his own footsteps echoed through the corridors, a stark reminder of the finality of his situation.

Payu's mind was numb, unable to comprehend the reality of what was happening. He was strapped to the execution chair, his wrists and ankles secured by cold metal restraints. The prison warden stepped forward, his voice emotionless as he read out the charges against Payu.Payu's eyes scanned the room, searching for a glimmer of hope, but there was none...The warden finished speaking, and a silence fell over the room, punctuated only by the sound of Payu's own ragged breathing...

The silence was oppressive, weighing heavily on Payu's shoulders.

The warden nodded to the executioner, who stepped forward, his face hidden behind a mask.Payu closed his eyes, his heart racing with fear.He thought of his family, his friends, and the life he would never get to live.

The executioner's hands moved swiftly, and Payu felt a sudden jolt of pain.

Everything went black.

It was over.
