chapter 4: taken quest

after moreas was spell binded he was taken back to gran torre dungeon where he was locked up again.maeve while sleeping always had a strange dream although this time it was complete. she always saw a strange man in her past dream weilding a glowing sword although she never got to see his face or his true identity because his true identity was covered or cloaked by his black hoody but this time he revealed his face by removing his hoody then he spoke out 'find me'.immediately maeve opened her eyes.she told aurelian (the great one) about her dream so she suggested that she will be the one to find the fate bearer.maeve was crowned a monarch of the gran torre so leaving would leave her seat vacant. aurelian could not stop her, all she did was to give her a location where she would seek refuge for the mean time before embarking on her journey.maeve embarked on her journey to find the fate bearer .maeve on her way seeked refuge in the fellow quarter so she was directed there although she didn't know that the fellow quarter had a bunch of weavers.she was welcomed by damyne ,the weaver who owned the fellow quarter so she was given a seat . 'you must be from the gran torre , and a friend of aurelian', damyne spoke , ' yes I am ', maeve replied.' you don't look like a saint or a maiden so which are u '?, damyne asked . ' well I am a crowned monarch of gran torre' . maeve replied. 'ohhh' damyne exclaimed , 'well I know u came here for refuge ', damyne spoke , ' yes ,I came to rest before embarking on my journey' maeve spoke. ' what journey' ? damyne asked. ' well, I'm insearch of the identity of the fate bearer' . ' the fate bearer' damyne spoke . 'yes the fate bearer' maeve repeated. ' you know looking for the fate bearer will be a difficult task to accomplish well I wish you good luck ' damyne altered giving a warm smile , ' thanks ' maeve spoke. ' you should have some rest ' damyne insisted , ' ofcourse I should ' maeve spoke getting up from the chair and leaving .the next morning maeve got her horse ready while she greeted farewell to damyne so she rode off. while she was riding she came across a young man riding his horse fast as he was been chased by a group of men about three of them chasing after him so maeve followed them . as the young man was trying to escape he fell from his horse and landed on the ground then his chasers caught up with him and surrounded him. ' you pretty filcher ' one of them said ,so they began to beat him as he tried to defend himself then maeve interfered in the fight and told them to stop but they refused then she used her weave magic to knock them down ,after which they escaped. ' who are you'? the young man asked, 'I'm maeve ' she said, ' so you're a weaver,never seen one before' he said 'well I'm rhyfel' you must have no place to go so you can follow me '. ' why were those men chasing after you'? maeve asked, ' let's say I filched some diamonds and fancy ornaments and jewelries ' rhyfel replied. 'so you're a thief ' maeve spoke , ' well that's what I do best' rhyfel replied again, so the both of them rode off.rhyfel took maeve to cobble , a place where he considered to be home and his friends resided there . rhyfel introduced maeve to his two friends drath and seldar . the relics grew rapidly wide and carried out their evil bidding. female weavers who practiced black magic were brought to the gran torre to face execution. ' we call our weavers saints because of our delightful nature but when we stain our weaves with darkness by practicing black magic and mystic arts that violates laws of nature and distorts natural phenomenon we face the wrath and punishment of our actions' madrigal spoke. the prosecutors then spell binded them while maeve wove the final weave to make the knot 🪢 stronger.
