Chapter 5 : The curse follows

Rohan went to school the next day. Feeling lost and flustered, he tried not to think about it so much as the new session started. He got to his seat and opened his new textbooks when suddenly his class teacher came into the class. "Hey students!! There's a new student joining our school. She is Tanya. Greet her well and make her comfortable." Everyone was mesmerized by how beautiful she looked. Her curly black long hair, her beautiful big blue eyes, her sweet voice, the glasses on her eyes which she was fixing continuously and by every single word she was attracting every single person in the class. "Hi I'm Tanya! I'm new here and a little nervous. Will you all be my friends?" She says while smiling warmly towards everyone. Then she walked towards Rohan and sat at the empty seat beside him. She smiled warmly while looking at him which he clearly could not resist as he was equally attracted towards her as everyone else was.

They sat next to each other and chatted for the entire class. Then they got up and started moving towards the cafeteria for lunch. As they got there, everyone was swirling around her as if she was a flower and everyone was bees. He left her and sat beside the corner for lunch alone. As he started eating, Tanya came towards him and said, "Won't you feed me your lunch?" She teasingly asked. "Yes, why not? You can have it!!" Rohan said while smiling at her. He passed his lunch towards her and was very impressed about her thoughtful gesture. After having lunch, they got up from their seats to wash their hands.

He was blushing thinking about her when suddenly he looked towards her and creeped out. She was washing her eyeballs while taking it in her hands like it was some kind of utensils or something. She then fixed his eyeballs into the hole of her eyes and then smiled creepily and shouted, "You've been cursed." And then cracked her neck to death. He screamed from the top of his lungs and suddenly everyone around him gathered. He was dreaming. It was not real. Until then Tanya came towards her and asked her about what had happened? "But you were dead. How come you're alive. It's not possible." He said in a scared, trembling voice. Everyone started looking at each other and then Tanya came close to him and said, "Calm yourself down. It's not me who died. Your sister did. And I'm here at your every step to keep you distracted." She consoled him. He then got up and left for his home.

On his way, while he was walking towards his house, he found an old man, around 80-90 years old, staring at him directly. He shook those feelings and didn't stop moving towards his house. When suddenly he realized that the old man started chasing him and running behind him. He also started running, but there was no one there to help him. The old man was running so fast as he was a 25 year-old guy. He started shouting Rohan's name as he followed him. He was shocked that how had he know his name. He crossed a road running on the other side but when the old man started chasing him, a car with full speed crashed into him and killed him on the spot. Then suddenly his eyes came out of his eye hole and came rolling towards the feet of Rohan. He picked up the eyeballs and left for his house.
