5.Periods

As they reached the host school, Inika requested Sonali Ma'am to excuse her to the washroom. Ved stood outside, holding her bag, as she quickly disappeared into the restroom. He couldn't help but notice that her pink dress was getting stained with blood.

Ved's heart went out to Inika, and he felt a surge of concern. He waited patiently outside the washroom, wondering how he could help her. Little did he know that this day would be a test of their teamwork, trust, and friendship.

After a few minutes, Inika emerged from the washroom, looking a bit more composed. Ved handed her bag back to her, and they both walked to the auditorium where the competition was being held.

As they took their seats on stage, Ved could sense Inika's nervousness. He gave her a reassuring smile and whispered, "You'll do great. We've practiced well." Inika smiled back, and they both took a deep breath, ready to face the competition together.

" What happened, he asked looking at her pale figure ...she said nothing replying in a low voice" is it your period ? She felt tears forming as samved panicked, " so sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry, here" he said handing her his handkerchief, she accepted it.

" My mother told me about this, she also told me that it hurts too much, and the pain differs from girl-to girl, I didn't mean to make you cry" he said internally panicking, trying to comfort her . She sniffled, Sonali ma'am saw her and called her, she handed her a painkiller and went to the staff room to get the hot bag.

Inika rested a bit and was samved by her side .

The debate began, and Ved and Inika presented their arguments confidently. Despite the initial hiccup, they worked together seamlessly, anticipating each other's points and countering their opponents' arguments.

As the competition came to a close, Ved and Inika felt proud of themselves. They had faced a challenge and overcame it together. The results were yet to be announced, but for Ved, the real victory was the bond he had formed with Inika.

As they walked off the stage, Sonali Ma'am congratulated them on their performance. "You both did exceptionally well. The results will be announced soon, but I'm proud of you regardless of the outcome."

Ved smiled, feeling happy and relieved. He glanced at Inika, who was smiling back at him. At that moment, he knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together.

He wished that many more opportunities would come and so that he could approach her and talk to her , he was very shy to talk to her in class maybe this is how they could talk with one another.
