Chapter 20 : Suggesting The Prince

As the king and the prince were talking I started listening to it.

- " Father if I remember correctly you said only a child of twelve or more shows any sign of having that power. But she is nowhere near that age . So how can you be so sure about her. "

- " Well because circumstances are showing it that way. Even if she is just a child we cannot afford to make her angry. Her existence itself is enough to stop the possibility of upcoming war. "

- " But father, she is so..... small. Wouldn't it be dangerous for her ? "

- " It might have been a little , if she was forced or scared . But that's not the case anymore. As I told you before the signs only shows after they turned twelve. I guess the beast considered her as capable as of that age. "

When they were talking I had a sudden thought. If they are that far and supposed to be talking in a low voice, then how am I hearing it. Is it because.......!

He smiled and said, " So Anastasia if you think it is scary and you don't want to do it you can say it now. I won't ask you to do anything later either. And if you want you can stay at Royal palace too. "

I looked at him and the prince.

- " So the process is dangerous and the prince thinks I might get hurt . Isn't this thing very important to have ?

And wouldn't it be more eye caching and dangerous if I stay here and can't even defend myself ? "
