Chapter 12 : Get To Know Each Other

- " Siera you say . So his daughter hah ! "

Saying this Mr. Christopher suddenly hold my head and touched his forehead with mine. Then he closed his eyes.

After few seconds he opened his eyes and released me.

Then he said , " I don't feel much mana on her. it's even less than a normal child. And well, I don't feel 'that' either. "

He stopped for a moment and looked at me like he was scanning me with his eyes.

Then he said , " If isn't for her look I would have never believed that it's their daughter . "

After that he asked me to tell him about my parents. And mainly how and when they died.

I told him everything. He listened quietly.

Then he asked me , " So kid, do you wanna find and kill those bad people now ? "

" No, I don't." I replied.

" Then why did you come to me ? " He asked me.

"To get stronger then those people . I just don't want to get killed by them. That's all . "

He looked at me, then asked Sir Alistair who was sitting silently all this time, " Is this how kids talk these days, or is this one special ? "

" No, She is different from the rest I think. " Sir Alistair smiled while saying this.

Then Mr. Christopher asked me in a very low voice , " Have you met someone in your dream yet ? "

Hearing this question I didn't understand so I asked with a face full of surprise , " Someone in dream, no I haven't ."

Then he said that he won't be able to help me with training because he has a busy schedule of travelling around in dangerous places.

Hearing this, Sir Alistair said,

"Christopher , she needs to learn many things and it has to be faster.

Her identity cannot be revealed either. And, on the top of that having you by her side is like a having a whole army protecting her.

Don't you think you are the best person for this ? "

" Ah, alright. You two are so annoying. I can't say no to that face anyway." He showed fake anger.

Then he asked me if I can keep up with him. So I told him that I would be able to do it, no problem.

Mr. Christopher told me to call him uncle Chris. And looking at my weak body he said that I should get a little more healthier before any training starts. Or else I might faint just like in the woods that time.

From Sir Alistair we learned that the king and a few others also knows that someone with the power associated with the Siera lineage survived. So we should let them know.

Uncle Chris said that he has to report to the king in few days. So we can go there together .

When uncle Chris learned that when I fainted in the woods and the Royal palace incident happened at the same time his eyes were brightened.

He said, " Oh , now I get the whole thing . "
