Chapter 2

Flower walk out from the school building and saw the rain.

not that heavy but can make you wet if you stand to long at the rain.

Flower sigh silently as she take out her phone and call her drivers.

"I am so sorry Young Miss! the car is broken and right now I'm fixing it at the car shop and it will take longer than i thought..." Said Flower driver

"Really? I just call a taxi then...no worry, Tom"

Flower than close the call and sighing again as she look at the time.

Flower cannot ask anyone as everyone already leave and her boyfriend is having his basketball training right now and Flower doesn't want to bother him.

Flower walk to the front gate and sit at the branch while ordering a Taxi.

it will take a while for them to came but Flower will wait.

Suddenly, someone came closer to Flower and sit a bit far away from her.

Flower look over and recognize the person. It was Flower classmates, Ruby.

Ruby didn't say anything as she focusing on reading her book while Flower keep glancing at her.

Flower then decided to talk to Ruby even though she knew she will get a cold respond from the girl.

"Hey...you...are not going home or something?" Ask Flower carefully

Ruby was silent for a second before she answer with her usually cold tone.

"I waiting for my pick up"

"oh...same..."

And then they gone silent again, Flower decided to ask about the book Ruby is reading.

"What you reading?"

"Novel"

"Oh? About what??"

"...Fantasy.."

"You like Fantasy novel!? same!!" yell Flower excitedly

Flower than snap out of it and giggles as she feel embarrass for yelling.

"Sorry...if i can know...what the book tittle?"

"Five Knight"

"ohhh!! i have heard about that novel. they said it was good but i don't have the time to read it yet.."

"hm"

"Maybe i buy it later...but every time i try to buy it is always sold out.."

"Is popular.."

"yeah you're right.."

They we're silently for a moment until Ruby spoke with cold tone but have a bit of shy in the tone.

"If you want...after i finish reading...you can borrow it.."

"REALLY!?"

Flower scood over to Ruby and put her hand on Ruby shoulder.

Ruby flint from the sudden touch make Flower back away and take her hand back.

"I'm sorry! didn't mean to make you uncomfortable..."

"it's okay..."

Flower suddenly get notification from her phone and read the messages she got.

"Oh no!!...The taxi driver said he cannot enter the school area as he doesn't have the permits too...i forgot about the...guardian permits...now what? just go with the rain and run to the bus stop?" whisper Flower

Ruby who over heard just put down her book on her lap and take out something from her bag.

"Here"

"eh?"

Flower stare at the small umbrella Ruby give her and glancing at Ruby face.

"You sure?"

Ruby nodding as she put the umbrella on Flower hand.

"Well what about you?"

"My pick up will pick me up on the gate...don't worry"

"You really really sure about this??" Ask Flower worry

Ruby nodding again as she grab her book and read it again, completely ignore any of Flower flush.

Flower smile brightly as she tilts her head to look at Ruby face.

"You very kind, don't you?"

Ruby say nothing as she still ignoring Flower by reading.

Flower giggle and then stand up while opening the umbrella.

"i will return it tomorrow, kay?"

Flower than walk away and go to the bus stop outside schools area.

Ruby rub her ear softly as she feel the hot on the ears.

The thing about Ruby is that when she blush it didn't show on the face but the ears.

Ruby have a small smile on her face as she stand up and put her book in her back before running off the rain.

Tomorrow

Flower walk in her class and scan all the students inside, trying to find a specific student.

Flower frown when she didn't see Ruby and then she walk to her desk and sit.

"Morning, Flo" greet Erika

"Morning Eri! where the others?" Ask Flower as she put down her bag on the floor and take out her notebook

"They going to the toilets..."

"hmm.."

Flower waiting for Ruby arrivals until her friends and teacher came in but she still didn't see her.

"where is she?" muttering Flower, worrying

"What's up?" Ask Naomi as the one who sit beside her

"hm? nothing..."

After class, Flower put all the thing inside her bag as she frowning.

She saw Ruby umbrella in her bag and then sighing silently.

"Excuse me?"

The five friends look at the nerdy looking girl that was staring at Flower.

"May i talk to you for a sec? Flower?"

"Ohh! me? Sure! you guys can go launch first...i be there soon!"

"Alrightly!" Said Rachel as they walk away

Flower then look at the girl with soft smile and ask her.

"You need something?"

"Yeah...my friend lend you a umbrella yesterday, no?"

"Your friends..?" Flower was thinking for a second until she understand what the girl mean

"Ohh!! You mean Ruby?"

"Yes"

"Yeah yeah! she did do that yesterday...by the way, where is she?" Ask Flower while grabbing the umbrella from her bag

"Oh she sick"

Flower froze and look at her in shock

"What!? how??"

The girl rise her eyebrows in amusement by Flower reaction.

"Well...you borrow her umbrella yesterday...she got all wet by walking back home to her apartment"

"Walking home!? i thought she got pick up!?"

"wait..is that what she told you?" Ask her as her face turn frown

"Yes!" Yell Flower while nodding

The girl face turn pale as she immediately grab the umbrella from Flower hand and leave right away.

"OKAY THEN, BYE!"

"WAIT!"

Flower look at the girl as she leave and then she just stare into space in disbelief.

"She lie to me? and she got sick because of me!?"

Flower rubbing her face as she got worry for Ruby wellbeing.

only if she known Ruby walking home, she would never take Ruby umbrella

Stupid Flower...

Ruby walking downstairs with warm blankets hugging her body.

She wearing her purple dark hoodie and long white baggy pants

Ruby open the door and saw Charlotte standing right in front of her with a helpless smile.

The smile make Ruby frown as she stare into Charlotte face.

"What's up with you?"

"ahh...I'm gonna say I'm sorry first.."

Ruby face turn into more frowning as she stare into Charlotte eyes coldly.

"The heck did you do.."

Charlotte slowly take out Ruby umbrella, showing it to the owner.

Ruby eyes turn bigger as she saw the umbrella in her friends hand and them she glancing at Charlotte face.

"Did she know?!"

"...yes.."

"You little-"

"I didn't know okay! you never told me you a lying!"

"And i didn't tell you to take the umbrella on my behalf, dumbass!"

Ruby rubbing her nose as she thinking about what to say to Flower.

"You know what...never mind...i just ignore her if she ask anything..."

"You think you can do that?"

Ruby didn't answer as she just walk to the couch and slam her body on it.
