|Chapter 2 - Warning

"Alright, why do you all look so stressed?" Mr Lee asked.

"Don't worry Sir, we're fine" Junhwo said.

"Alright, since we're short on tents. You'll have to sleep with someone. The tents are large enough to fit two people so pair up. No opposite gender pair okay?" Mr Lee said and continued grilling the barbecues.

"Junhwo-ya pair?" Ha-jun asked.

"Do you even need to ask. Of course you'll always be my partner" Junhwo said.

"Junhwo... C-can we stand our tent beside yours?.." Mo-ryeong said.

"Sure... But where's Hae-soo?" Ha-jun asked.

"The Girls are comforting her right now" She said while fidgeting her hands.

"Want us to help you build it?" Junhwo offered.

"Sure! That would be great" Mo-ryeong said.

After helping Mo-ryeong build the tent Junhwo noticed a Head peeking on the lake.

"What the h*ck..." Junhwo whispered to himself after seeing the head stare at him.

"That's a normal thing to us locals, don't worry it won't harm you" Said the Man.

"Why didn't we hear anything about that in the news..?" Junhwo asked.

"Everyone who took videos and pictures of it disappears the next day after taking the photo of it. We call that a Lid. Don't worry only cursed people can see it" The man said.

"What do you mean..." Junhwo asked.

"You looked at the Smiler's eyes... You've been marked. Anyone who locks eyes with the Smiler often survive. But if it looked away from you then the one it looked at will be a target to the other curses" The Man said.

"How did you know I locked eyes with the Monster?.." Junhwo asked.

"We're the same... Anyway at 12am you'll wake up here in this Island on the place where the Curse was sealed. The other people who woke the curses will be there too. It'll last for an hour so do your best not to die" The man said as he stood up and lit his cigarette.

"What do you mean..?"

"Don't die there, even if it's just a dream" The man ruffled Junhwo's hair and walked away.

Inside their tents Junhwo and Ha-jun was talking.

"What time is it?" Junhwo asked.

"10:16pm why?" Ha-jun ask confusedly.

"Lets sleep"

'What if that Man was telling the truth... Then at 12am we'll wake up near the well'

12:00 Am.

"J-junhwo..." The voice of Hae-soo was sounding through Junhwo's ears.

'Someone is shaking me...' Junhwo opened his eyes and saw Hae-soo shaking him.

"Wha-what happened?.." Junhwo asked.

"I-i met a Man few hours ago, and he knew that this would happen" Hae-soo said.
