" Pollina, I promise you that man is nowhere near this hospital." Dr. Mayer reassured snapping her back to her current situation.

" But.... I saw him" Pollina said softly.

" I probably looked like him but I promise, he is not here" Dr. Mayer continued.

Pollina stomach churned uncomfortably as she was given a choice to trust him and open the door or not. Her hand stretched from where she sat on the ground to the door knob and turned it slowly unlocking the door. Her wounds on her hands was now bleeding yet again, seeping through the already soaked bandage and trickling down her arms.

" ...I'm scared..." Pollina said softly .

" It's alright. Your are safe now. " Dr. Mayer reassured.

Pollina was assisted to her bed by nurses and she asked her parents if she be left alone for an while which the complied to despite Mrs. Hemington wishes. Dr. Mayer remained in the room and asked, " Can I talk to you for a moment?"

" Sure"

As the nurses gently cleaned the wound and stopped the bleeding Pollina and Dr. Mayer talked.

" What is wrong with me? " Pollina asked looking up at Dr. Mayer. Her expression showing how frightened she was even after being reassured by Dr. Mayer.

" There is nothing wrong with you Pollina. This is one of the body's way of responding to severe trauma. Can you tell me how have you been feeling since you arrived at the hospital?" Dr. Mayer asked.

Pollina nodded. " I've been feeling like nowhere is safe. Like I have to be constantly watching over my shoulders to make sure it's safe and sometimes I would just feel nothing..... numb. Is that weird?" Pollina inquired.

" Not at all" Dr. Mayer continued," Pollina, that sounds like symptoms of rape trauma syndrome. I am not well versed in that field but I can bring someone in that can help you understand why you might feeling this way. Would you like to talk to them?"

Pollina nodded. The nurses had just finished cleaning and rebandaging her wounds, leaving not to long after Dr. Mayer. A few minutes Dr. Mayer returned with two women. One of them average height, slender and exceedingly beautiful. Her metal tag on her white coat read, Dr. Pacine, chief of psychiatry, and the other woman who looking quite a bit younger and standing a few inches taller than Dr. Pacine, on her metal tag had, Dr. Kline, psychiatrist, writen on it. She was as beautiful as Dr. Pacine, probably even more as she stood diagonally to Dr. Pacine.

" Hello Pollina, I'm Dr. Pacine and this is Dr. Kline. It's nice to meet you" Dr. Pacine said with a slight smile.

" Ah, hello. " Pollina said trying avoiding their gaze.

"Dr. Mayer has told us about your situation. Is that alright?" Dr. Pacine inquired.

Pollina looked up immediately, focusing on their facial expressions. It's the same as Dr. Mayer. Pollina nodded.

" Can I ask you about what happened in the bathroom?" Dr. Kline asked her voice sounding so soothing for some reason.
