A young boy runs as fast as he can for he was late and he was supposed to be home on time before his father arrived from hunting.

Hugo stopped him telling him to calm down for no one has evidence of what they are suggesting, so he told them that they must focus for the preparing for the cleansing ceremony which is two months later and prepare tribute to give to baronet.

On the other hand Alan feels frustration towards his father for he forbids him to play near the crypt but also this time he goes nevertheless with his friends kelvin and Oscar as they play with wooden swords boasting they will one day become the best swordsmen as they approach the crypt Oscar tells Alan that he's not going any further and kelvin agrees with him.

Alan mocks them as coward's for not daring to approach the crypt so as curious as he is he enters the crypt which is dark has a weird smell suddenly he steps on something has he looks at what he had step on fear grapes his heart as In front of him there is a massive wounded black wolf.

Alan's fear was so great that he couldn't move, lucky the wolf was still asleep as he looks back where he come from he doesn't see anything but darkness as he looks ahead and sees a cub.
