Elena was about to ring the doorbell, but an unexpected conflict suddenly arose, stopping her in her tracks, a large dog barked to Snowball, Snowball's fur prickled and stood on end, a shiver running down its spine as the hairs lifted in response to sudden chill, its muscles tensing and ears sharply alert to every distant sound.

Another bark and Snowball wriggled free from her arms, Snowball's paws thudding against the ground, it ran away. Elena chased after Snowball, after some time, Snowball was in someone's arm.

He was gently petting the dog, his fingers gently toward its fur, the warmth of its body calming him down. The unexpected encounter, Elena spotted Vincent again. Elena is truly lucky, as if the universe has smiled upon her.

Elena took a step closer to him, her heartbeat quickening as the space between then started to shrink, drawing her nearer to warmth.

"Hmm, excuse me" she grabbed his attention with nervousness in her voice, he looked right into her eyes. As soon as their eyes met Elena felt unspoken connection sparkled between them, the world around her seemed to have paused.

"Yes" he replied to her breaking her thoughts.

"Thank you, actually that's my puppy"

"Oh! Its paw was swollen, and it was struggling to run"

"Yeah! Actually I found it in pain so I am going to adopt it until it recovers"

"Then, what after it recovers?"

"Have no idea, my mom probably won't allow"

"I really like the dog, how about you hand it over to me after it recovers"

"Really! That would be great"

"Yeah, and if you don't mind can I sometimes come to your place and offer attention and affection, so it gets used to me"

"Yeah sure, let's add each other in WeChat"

With That they shared their WeChat ID and Elena wrapped Snowball around her arms and went on her way. Elena was so excited about it and kissed Snowball several times.

Elena still wanted to visit Nina, so she went to Nina's house. She rang the doorbell, Nina answered it. Nina was surprised to find Elena there, Nina welcomed Elena home.

Nina asked about the dog, but Elena wanted to talk about it over a cup of tea with snacks, so Elena stepped in kitchen, she placed the fruits she bought in the fridge informing Nina. Elena began to brew a warm cup of tea. Elena made special tea, so whenever Elena would visit Nina she was responsible for making tea while Nina would prepare snacks.

Nina was relaxing on the sofa playing with Snowball, Mr. and Mrs. Forger were not home, they were out for dinner with relatives. Elena spilled the beans to Nina. Nina was shocked as it was first time that she heard Elena losing her head over a boy.

After Elena had her say, Nina started. Nina had fever and by evening she had already recovered, the reason behind her fever was she dug into ice cream in the middle of the night. Nina was happy to see Elena over, they giggled and chatted for long time.

It was going to be late, so Elena headed to her home. Elena's house was not very far from Nina's house.
