Marcos' interest

Her words pierced Mingi’s heart, and he felt a mixture of relief and guilt. He kissed her again, this time more tenderly, as if he wanted to erase all the hurt he had caused.

When the two finally separated, Mingi took a deep breath and said seriously:

— But there’s one thing, Yunna. I need you to promise that you’ll never see Marcos again. I can’t stand the idea of you with another man.

Seeing his vulnerability, Yunna held his hands and calmly replied:

— Mingi, there’s nothing between me and Marcos. We just went out to pass the time. I was hurt, trying to deal with everything that was happening. But my heart... — she paused, looking at him softly — has always been yours.

Mingi felt a deep relief at those words, but he also knew that it didn’t erase what had happened. He needed to do better, to show that he deserved her love.

— Thank you for telling me that, Yunna. I promise, from now on, I won’t leave any more doubts between us.

Yunna smiled slightly, still cautious, but feeling that there was a step forward, a new chance. They hugged each other, and at that moment, they both knew that they had a long road ahead of them, but they were willing to try together.

Mingi nodded slowly, but deep down, he couldn't believe Yunna's words 100%. He trusted her, but his mind kept going back to the image of her and Marcos together at the restaurant. Yunna's determination that night made him uneasy.

She was no longer the woman who accepted everything quietly; she had shown that she was willing to do whatever it took to be happy, even if it meant leaving him.

It was this determination that scared him and, at the same time, made him realize how much he was gambling with something precious. Mingi had always believed that Yunna would be there, regardless of his flaws, but now he knew he could no longer take that for granted.

Lying next to her that night, Mingi couldn't sleep right away. He stared at the ceiling, thoughts swirling in his mind. He knew that Yunna deserved much more than he had offered lately. She deserved a husband who cared about her feelings, who was by her side instead of leaving her feeling alone.

He turned his head to look at her. Yunna had her back to him, breathing evenly, but Mingi knew that deep down, she must still be hurting. He sighed softly, making a silent decision.

“I need to be more careful,” he thought. “I need to respect her feelings and show her that I truly care. I can’t ignore her feelings anymore, or let it drive us apart.”

That night, Mingi promised himself it would be different. He was scared by Yunna’s strength, but he was also determined to live up to this relationship. He couldn’t lose the woman he loved because of his own negligence and pride.

When he finally closed his eyes, it was with one clear thought: he would do whatever it took to win back not only Yunna’s trust, but also the full love they once had.

The next few days were harder than Mingi had expected. Despite his determination to change, the weight of past mistakes still hung between them. Yunna didn’t push him away, but she didn’t embrace him completely either.

She was distant, but not cold, as if she was waiting for him to prove himself worthy of her trust again. Mingi began to question every word he said, every action he took. He tried to be more cautious, to respect her space, but every time he saw the shadow of doubt in her eyes, it felt like a blow to his heart.

One night, after dinner, Mingi saw her staring out the window. Yunna’s face was soft, but distant, as if her thoughts were far away. Mingi couldn’t stand the silence any longer. He slowly approached her, standing next to her, but not touching her right away.

“Yunna,” he said softly. “I know I hurt you, and I know words won’t fix everything. But I want you to know that I’m here, every step of the way.” I’ll show you that I’m not the man I once was. I need you to see that.”

Yunna didn’t answer right away. She continued to stare out at the world, the moonlight reflecting in her eyes. Mingi took a step closer, but still kept a respectful distance.

“You don’t have to prove anything to me,” she finally said, her voice calm but with a sadness he could feel.

“You’re right, words don’t fix things. Actions do. And I can’t keep holding on to someone who might leave me again.”

Her words hit him hard, and Mingi’s heart ached. He reached out slowly, carefully, not wanting to pressure her, but desperate for her to feel his sincerity.

“I won’t leave you, Yunna. Not this time,” he swore, his voice shaking a little.

“I’ll show you. I’ll spend every day proving that I’m the man you deserve. I’m ready to fight for us, for everything we’ve built together.”

She then turned her gaze to him, meeting his eyes. Her expression softened, and for the first time in days, Mingi saw a spark of hope in her eyes.

While the couple was going through hard times, Marcos couldn't get Yunna out of his mind. Even after everything that had happened, he found himself thinking about her constantly.

There was something about her that drew him to him, something that made him want to be around her, even though he knew she was in a complicated relationship. He remembered the way she had pulled away from Mingi the last time he saw her, the look on her face when she asked him not to get involved.

That vulnerability, that look full of mixed feelings, touched him in a way he couldn't explain. Marcos knew he was trying to ignore the fact that Yunna was with Mingi, but the attraction he felt for her only grew.
