CHAPTER 11 : MESSED UP

Diane woke up as with an headache, her eyes were sore red and she has thick dark circles like a panda and her sight was blurry. She grabs her round glasses, looking around to see everyone getting ready

"Ah... Traitors why didn't you wake me?" Diane said as the girls turned to her

"It's not like you care if you'd be late or anything, besides you told Astrid straight in the face that you didn't care" Harley said as Diane froze

" I said what now? " She asked turning to Sage who nodded.

" I'm doomed" Diane muttered as she quickly got off the bed with her bathrobe running into the bathroom.

*Last night flash back....*

"Diane I..."- Sage said as Diane stood up suddenly

-"What are you..."

"Let's go to a bar"

"Ah?!"

"Come on let's go!!"

"I'm not sure we should... Astrid would be in the hostel early and she..."

"Come on.. please..." Diane said as she drew Sage out of college

At the bar...

"May I serve you milady?.... Sage long time no see" The bar tender teased as he was charmed by Diane's beauty

"Yeah Mark....about that offer yes you may, by bringing us some water and look away"

" Water? Who drinks water when they are in pain? This lady.... Bring me some fruit juice!!! " Diane replied

" We don't sell those here, you can go to the store outside to get them though"

" What? Then why does this mean say... Citrus cooler, Fresh lemonade and Long iced tea"

" D, you really shouldn't..." Sage said

" Actually they are for fixing a messed up person" The waiter said

" Shut it Mark, it's not funny " Sage replied as Mark raised up his hands in surrender, Diane giggled

" Perfect I'm messed up"

"No you aren't, you shouldn't be..."

"What's to fear...you're with me aren't you?"

"No, no I'm not, and I won't be if Astrid knows you went to a bar alone"

" Fine, go"

" I..I literally would go, like...right now "

" Sure"- Diane said as the bar tender served her some citrus cooler, fresh lemonade and Long iced tea

-"Uuuu thanks" Diane said as she mixed up the drinks

"I..I wouldn't do that...if I were you" The bar tender said as Diane froze

" Then it's a bad thing you aren't me" Diane replied gulping down the mixture

" Diane I would leave"

" THEN LEAVE!! YOU WOULDN'T BE THE FIRST TO LEAVE ANYWAYS, I don't want anyone getting hurt by me so leave!" Diane shouted as everyone watched them.

She downs the whole mixture as she reacts to the confused, bittersweet and unbalanced flavor that shocked her being. Diane smiles afterwards as she draws a glass of vodka

"Uhm..not that it's in my place... ma'am, you just downed 3 different bottled alcohols together shouldn't you wait a while before you take some vodka?" Mark asked as Diane stood up then dropped some money as she bowed suddenly

" Thank you for the drinks!" She shouted as everyone stared at her then she lifts her head smiling as her hair got in her face

"Sure" Mark said as Diane stumbled across the room trying to get out, a talk guy approached her

"Hey baby, where are you going?"

"I'm looking for a friend, I want to apologize to her"

" Sure let's look for her together"

"Really? You know I shouted on her and told her to leave me alone, and she left me alone, she actually left me alone" Diane said crying all of a sudden as the creepy guy hugged her tightly

" It's okay, she'll forgive you"

"You think so?"

"Yeah, let me take you to her"

"Did she ask you to bring me?"

"Yes, she did"

"Why didn't you say so? Let's go!" Diane shouted as she ran out.

The guy lead her to an alley as he smirked, suddenly holding Diane's waist

" How about forgetting your friend and coming home with me, I can make you feel good" He said using his finger to draw a circle around Diane's face

"No, I have to see my friend then I'll feel good, hey you said you know where she is I feel like we've been walking in circles"

" Don't act smart with me..." The guy suddenly said as Diane grabbed his hand gripping it tightly as he squirmed in pain

"No you listen you a**h***, if you mistook me for some s**t in the bar then it's not your fault, it's mine for getting messed up in the first place, but me going to the bar to drink myself out does mean I don't know what I'm doing so F*** off!" Diane said breaking hus arm as she threw him to the floor, he screamed out in pain as she smiled staggering across the alley alone with a smile

"There you are..." Sage said on the other side of the alley as Diane froze then bursted into tears

"Hey you..."

"Why did you leave me alone, did you know how dangerous it was? I could have been kidnapped!" Diane whined as Sage sighed

"But you weren't besides if you get kidnapped I'll find you okay?"

"Hmn, I'll be a good girl and wait for you" Diane said as she ran to Sage jumping in her back

"Whoa"

"Carry me home!!!" Diane said passing out as Sage sighed walking out of the alley

A car passed by as it shed some of it's light on the victim assaulted by Diane on the floor half dead with a seriously broken arm.

Sage got home with a broken Diane on her back

"Hey where did you guys..." Harley asked before noticing Diane

"What...happened?" Astrid asked in a commanding time as Sage raised her hands

"I went to pick her up in a bar, she was out partying all by herself, wouldn't have found her if the attendant didn't phone me"

" I don't care! I'm not afraid of anyone! Even Astrid doesn't make me scared!"

" Uuuuu, she'll regret that..." Harley muttered as everyone took a peek at Astrid who surprisingly looked more disappointed than angry

" Take her to bed"

"Wait! I haven't completed my assignments! I won't be allowed to take the test if I don't present my assignments by tomorrow!"

Diane said jumping down from Sage's back

"Give me a minute Ms first lady" Diane said to Astrid who tried to hide a smile

"She even remembers assignments when drunk, are you sure she didn't hit her head last time?" Harley asked as Astrid hit her head

"Who hit her head, it's called being responsible, you would know if you were responsible like her"

"Oh...Hey! Aren't you supposed to be mad at her or something?" Harley asked as Astrid smiled

" Who can be mad at such an angel?" Astrid said as Diane went through her assignments one by one

"Mom, I don't understand this question"

"I'm coming darling" Astrid said running to Diane

"Darling?" Everyone asked as Astrid waved her hand shrugging them off

"Don't you have better things to do?"

"Alright it was I fault I took her to the bar" Sage lied as Astrid scoffed

"Now you confess uh?" Astrid said as Sage raised an eyebrow at Diane who smiled at her

"Fine, no parties for a month, not like you listen to me anyways"

"I'm glad you know" Sage said walking away as Astrid sighed turning to Diane who was still engrossed in her work

"Sleep early ok?" Astrid said stroking Diane's hair who nodded.

*Flash back ends*

Diane suddenly ran out of the bathroom as the girls turned to her, she scanned the room for Astrid who stared at her looking shocked at her sudden peeking out of the bathroom, and Sage who upon eye contact raised her brows twice with a smirk.

Diane pointed her toothbrush at her waving it as Sage smirked raising an eyebrow, then she sighed

"I love you!" She screamed as Sage smirked again

"I love me too" Sage replied sipping a cup of coffee as Diane smirked closing the bathroom door

"Hey what was that about? " Harley asked as Sage shrugged walking out

Diane sighed in the bathroom as she walked out of the tub filled with rose water and soap. Her skin became as clear as crystal almost like she could fade as her red hair was wet and stuck to her back. She washed off the soap under the shower then wore her robe.

*Diane : "I wonder if I could get a nice lunch today, I haven't eaten good food in months"*

Diane muttered as she walked out of the bathroom meeting Sage who seemed to be on her phone

"They all left?"

"Yeah" Sage replied as Diane nodded absentmindedly, walking towards the dressing table. She picks up an hairdryer

"How to use this gizmo?"

"Do you live on this planet?" Sage asked as Diane shook her head

"Fair enough, show me how serious college is to you!" Sage called out as Diane brought out a big book

"That says how to make pasta in france" Sage read out as Diane stuck out her tongue with a silly grin on. Sage laughs out

"So silly" Sage said as Diane laughed out with her

"Hey I'm really sorry about yesterday, if an apology still counts"

"Lunch's on you"

"I thought the college pays for our lunch"

" Yeah it does"

" You said..."

" I meant you eat with me" Sage muttered as Diane sighed

" Fine boss "

" Yish you make eating with me sound miserable"

"How about that?" Diane asked grinning

"I like that" Sage replied curling Diane's hair with a curling iron

" There" Sage said removing the roller on Diane's hair, and watched it bounce down in waves to her waist

"I think I should hold it down" Diane said staring into the mirror

"What makes you say so?"

"I'm going there to learn, this is a distraction"

" You have a point" Sage said as she tied down Diane's hair to a low point flowing down in waves to her waist

" Now you look serious" Sage commented as Diane ran into the dressing room

"Thanks I won't take time"

"I know" Sage said as Diane peeked out with a questioning look

" What do you mean? "

" Anything you interpret it as of course"

" So evil"

"Enough flattery, have you gathered last night's papers? "

" Yes, I placed them in your bag, we have classes together today right? "

" Seems so"

" Seems like you forgot"

" I did"

" I know so I printed out your assignments too, just hand them in person ok? "

" I like your way of apologizing, you make a good business capitalist"

" Thanks, so deal? I'm forgiven? "

" Sure " Sage replied as Diane walked out in a black high waist office trousers and white turtle neck sweater.

She adds a small black stud to her ears with a black pin on her red hair

" Professional?" She asked as Sage smirked

" Very"

"Awwn..." She said hugging Sage

"Don't.." Sage said shoving her off with an elbow as Diane suddenly felt sick and dizzy and immediately staggered away from Sage falling to the floor

"What? You're that hungry?" Sage asked reaching out to help her

" Don't! "- Diane screamed as Sage became shocked, Diane noticed as she smiled immediately

" Sorry I was a little dramatic, you got sick by taking care of me last time, and I'm not fully recovered so I don't want you or anyone getting sick again"

" Oh... "- Sage replied as Diane smiled

-" Could you wait for me outside I'll get a mask incase it gets worse"

" Sure" Sage said as she walked out, Diane sighed out of breath as she opened her sleeves, the black vein reappeared spreading around her arm to her neck

*" Without my core, cultivation, and essence I'm as good as being disabled, but with the poison in my veins I dare not retrieve them unless I decide it's my last battle to fight, anyways they are in a very safe place, problem is mere coming in contact with them makes me sick, I can barely stand up when with Sage and she only has my core, the lowest stage in all 3 stages! I'm doomed.... "* Diane murmured as she shook her head

*" No way, I don't accept defeat, there's no problem, I just need to find out who is with my cultivation and essence and stay as far away from them as possible, that should be easy....right?"* Diane muttered as she sighed walking out.
