the next day ~

Yumiko and michiro ran out of the house without having lunch again, suddenly yumiko stopped infront of the house

Michiro : what happened?

Yumiko: i-i actually remembered some work, so...I am skipping today...

Michiro: what? Are you going back to the house?

Yumiko: no...I am going out...

michiro : where to-

Yumiko: please fill in for me and don't let mom and dad know (ran away)

michiro : come on! (sigh)

Yumiko ran to akio's laboratory

Yumiko :(knock, knock)

Akio : come in, of its you, yumiko! Wassup?

yumiko: akio uncle...I actually wanna ask you to do something...

Akio: what is it?

Yumiko: can you please do a.....DNA test....?

Akio: thoughts (don't tell me she figured) w-why? don't you trust your mom dad?

Yumiko: I just wanna know! it's not about trust in the first place! And you will conduct the test infront of me!

Akio: h-hmm...

Yumiko: and you will not tell about this to mom and dad!

Yumiko: please! Promise me you won't!! (tearing up)

yumiko (handed him a couple of hairs in a polythin): these are of me mom, and the other ones are my dad's

Akio: okay, so get seated (sigh) it will take sometime

Yumiko: sure, I can wait

Akio: so, you skipped magic house today?

Yumiko: y-yeah...

Akio: was it that important?

Yumiko: yes, you won't understand

Akio (sweating): I see...

After an hour~

Yumiko: magic house will be over soon today...

Akio: uhm...so...here are the reports....and... (handed them to her while sweating more)

Yumiko: I knew....they'll mismatch, I knew it...

Akio: look....I am sor-

Yumiko (placed the reports in her bag) bye! (walked out) thoughts: (who...who...is my mother...then? Who is my father....?) *staring at the ground*

Michiro rushed in

Michiro : hey! Now tell me why skipped magic house today?! (breathing heavily)

Yumiko kept walking straight emotionless

Michiro: yumi....ko...?

She opened the door of the house and stepped in

Tsubaki : welcome home!

Yumiko still didn't gave any impression and kept walking straight, she went upstairs in her room, closed the door she dropped on her bed and tears rolled down from her cheeks

Yumiko: why....why are the people I was calling mom and dad...were fakes...?

she took out the photo from her pocket while tears were still streaming down

Yumiko: who are you....? Why do you look so like me...? Why...?

She stayed in her room till night and slept crying

The next morning ~

Yumiko woke up and stepped outside the house quitely with michiro

Mizuki: did something happened?

Akane: I don't know...she has been like this since yesterday....I am worried...

Outside~

Michiro : where are you going?

Yumiko: somewhere...don't tell mom and dad...

Michiro : but- *she walked away* maybe...she figured that out.... (walked to the magic house)
