Unexpected Alchemy Opportunity

Today was an important day for Yin Zhao he planned to go to the market to buy alchemy ingredients and high-end herbs for his cultivation and for his companions as well to begin his first journey for Alchemy (In this life). But first, he began his day as usual, sitting in meditation and cultivating his Qi. His cultivation level was currently at the **Immortal Ascension Realm, 2nd Stage**, and he was determined to continue improving.

After an hour of intense meditation, Yin Zhao felt refreshed and ready to tackle the day. He decided to invite Xiao Tang to join him on his trip to the market. He found her in the courtyard, diligently practicing her martial arts techniques.

"Xiao Tang, would you like to come with me to the market today?" Yin Zhao asked, his voice hopeful. "I could use your company."

Xiao Tang looked up from her practice, a hint of regret in her eyes. "I'd love to, Yin Zhao, but I have some errands to run today. Maybe next time?"

Yin Zhao nodded, hiding his disappointment. "Of course, I understand. I'll see you later then."

With that, Yin Zhao set off alone for the market. The bustling streets were filled with vendors selling various goods, including medicinal and cultivation herbs. Yin Zhao made his way through the crowd, his eyes scanning the stalls for the items he needed.

He stopped at a stall selling a variety of herbs and alchemical ingredients. The vendor, a middle-aged man with a friendly demeanor, greeted him warmly.

"Good day, young man! What can I help you with?" the vendor asked.

"I'm looking for some high-end herbs and alchemy ingredients," Yin Zhao replied, his eyes focused on the items displayed. "Do you have any Dragon Blood Grass or Nine Yin Dew?"

The vendor nodded, pulling out the requested items. "Yes, we have both. The Dragon Blood Grass is particularly rare and valuable."

Yin Zhao inspected the herbs, satisfied with their quality. "I'll take these," he said, handing over the appropriate amount of coins.

As he continued to browse the market, Yin Zhao encountered a young man who seemed to be in a hurry. The young man accidentally bumped into him, causing Yin Zhao to drop his newly purchased herbs.

"Watch where you're going!" the young man snapped, his tone aggressive.

Yin Zhao took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "It was an accident. Let's both be more careful."

The young man scoffed, clearly not interested in resolving the situation peacefully. "You think you're better than me just because you have some fancy herbs? Think again!"

Yin Zhao decided it was best to walk away and avoid any further confrontation. He picked up his herbs and continued on his way to the Alchemist Association. He needed to rent a place to refine his pills, as he didn't have a furnace at home.

Upon arriving at the Alchemist Association, Yin Zhao approached the reception area. The members of the association, mostly apprentices, eyed him curiously.

"Excuse me," Yin Zhao said politely. "I'd like to rent a room to refine some pills."

One of the apprentices, a young woman with a haughty expression, sneered. "Do you even know how to refine pills? You don't look like an alchemist to me."

Ignoring the mocking tone, Yin Zhao remained composed. "I do know how to refine pills. I'd like to reserve a room, please."

The apprentices exchanged amused glances but processed his request nonetheless. Yin Zhao was given a room, and he immediately set to work. His success rate in refining pills was about 45-60%, thanks to the knowledge he had gained from his past life.

As Yin Zhao worked, he felt his skills improving. He managed to refine several batches of pills, including a few using high-end herbs like the Dragon Blood Grass and Nine Yin Dew. To his surprise, he succeeded in creating two out of five batches—a remarkable feat considering the difficulty.

An elder of the Alchemist Association, Elder Han, noticed the unusual activity. He approached the reception area, curious about the young alchemist who had achieved such a high success rate.

"Who is responsible for creating these pills?" Elder Han asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

One of the receptionists hesitated before replying, "It's a young man who reserved a room earlier today. He's quite skilled."

Elder Han's interest was piqued. He made his way to the room where Yin Zhao was working and observed him for a moment. He was impressed by the young man's prowess in alchemy and decided to introduce himself.

"You there," Elder Han called out. "I am Elder Han. May I have a word with you?"

Yin Zhao looked up from his work, surprised by the elder's presence. "Of course, Elder Han. How can I assist you?"

Elder Han smiled warmly. "I couldn't help but notice your impressive skills in alchemy. May I ask who your master is?"

Yin Zhao shook his head. "I don't have a master. I've been learning on my own."

Elder Han's eyes widened in surprise. "Remarkable. I would like to offer you the opportunity to become my disciple. Your potential is extraordinary, and I believe you could achieve great things under my guidance."

Yin Zhao was taken aback by the offer but felt a sense of excitement. "Thank you, Elder Han. I would be honored to accept your invitation."

Elder Han nodded, pleased with the response. "Excellent. I will introduce you to my current disciple, Mei Ling. She is an Alchemy Junior at the 3rd stage realm."

Yin Zhao followed Elder Han to the main hall of the association, where Mei Ling was waiting. She was a graceful young woman with an air of confidence about her.

"Mei Ling, this is Yin Zhao," Elder Han said. "He will be joining us as my new disciple."

Mei Ling smiled warmly. "Welcome, Yin Zhao. I look forward to working with you."

As they conversed about alchemy techniques and their experiences, Yin Zhao couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with Mei Ling. Just then, Xiao Tang arrived at the Alchemist Association, having completed her errands. She spotted Yin Zhao and Mei Ling together, and her eyes narrowed slightly.

"Yin Zhao, who is this?" Xiao Tang asked, trying to keep her tone neutral.

"Xiao Tang, this is Mei Ling," Yin Zhao explained. "She is Elder Han's disciple and my new senior."

Xiao Tang raised an eyebrow, her jealousy evident. "I see. You seem to be getting along well."

Mei Ling, sensing the tension, smiled politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Xiao Tang. Yin Zhao has spoken highly of you."

Xiao Tang forced a smile, her competitive spirit kicking in. "Likewise. I'm sure we'll all get along just fine."

As the three of them stood together, Yin Zhao couldn't help but chuckle at the situation. He found Xiao Tang's jealousy endearing and hoped that they could all work together harmoniously.

With the support of Elder Han and his new senior, Yin Zhao felt more confident in his abilities. He knew that with hard work and determination, he could achieve great things in both cultivation and alchemy. And with his friends by his side, he was ready to face any challenge that came his way.
